< Aịzaya 32 >
1 Lee, eze ga-achị nʼezi omume na-abịa, ya na ndịisi kwesiri ntụkwasị obi, ndị ga-ekpe ikpe ziri ezi.
Listen to this! Some day there will be a righteous king, and his officials will help him to rule justly/fairly.
2 Onye ọbụla nʼime ha ga-aghọrọ ndị mmadụ ebe a na-ezere ndụ nʼoge oke ifufe, na ebe mgbaba nʼoge oke mmiri ozuzo. Ha ga-adị ka mmiri na-asọ nʼọzara, maọbụ dịka ndo nke nkume dị elu na-enye nʼebe okpomọkụ na-eweta ike ọgwụgwụ dị.
Each [of them] will be like [MET] a shelter from the wind and a (refuge/place to be protected) from the storm. They will be like [SIM] streams of water in the desert, like the shade under a huge rock in a very hot and dry land.
3 Mgbe ahụ, agaghị emechikwa anya ndị niile na-ahụ ụzọ, agakwaghị eme ka ntị na-anụ ihe kwụsị ịnụ ihe.
When that happens, [those leaders will enable] people who have not understood [MET] [God’s truth] to understand it, and [they will enable] those who have not paid attention to [MET] [God’s truth] to pay attention to it.
4 Ọ bụladị obi ndị nzuzu nʼetiti ha ga-ejupụta nʼakọnuche na nghọta, ndị ahụ na-asụ nsụ ga-ekwukwa okwu nke ọma.
[Even] those who act very hastily will have good sense, and those who cannot speak well will speak fluently and clearly.
5 Nʼụbọchị ahụ, a gaghị ahụkwa onye nzuzu sị na ọ bụ onye maara ihe. A gaghị enyekwa onye aghụghọ nsọpụrụ ọzọ.
[At that time], people who are foolish/unwise will no longer be (admired/looked up to), and scoundrels will no longer be respected.
6 Nʼihi na ndị nzuzu na-ekwu okwu na-echeghị echiche, obi ha niile dị na-ime ajọ ihe. Ọ na-ebi ndụ asọpụrụghị Chineke, na-ekwusakwa okwu njehie megide Onyenwe anyị; ndị agụụ na-agụ ka ha na-agbaba aka ndị akpịrị na-akpọ nkụ, ha adịghị enye ha mmiri ọṅụṅụ.
Foolish people say things that are foolish, and they plan to do evil things. Their behavior is disgraceful, and they say things about Yahweh that are false. They do not give food to those who are hungry, and they do not give water to those who are thirsty.
7 Ndị ọjọọ na-eji ụzọ aghụghọ niile eme ihe ọjọọ, ha na-echepụta nzube ajọ ihe niile, iji okwu ụgha laa onye ogbenye nʼiyi, ọ bụladị mgbe arịrịọ nke onye ahụ nọ na mkpa bụ nke ziri ezi.
Scoundrels do things that are evil and that deceive people; they plan to do evil things; by telling lies [in court] they cause poor people to (have trouble/be convicted), even when what the poor [people] are requesting is fair/just.
8 Ma onye a na-asọpụrụ na-atụpụta atụmatụ dị ezi mma, ọ na-eguzokwa chịm nye ezi ihe.
But honorable people plan to do honorable/good things, and they do the honorable/good things that they plan to do.
9 Unu ndị inyom na-ebi ndụ ndị afọ juru, bilie ọtọ, gee m ntị; unu ndị ada ndị nwere ntụkwasị obi, nụrụnụ ihe m nwere ikwu.
You women [of Jerusalem] who think that you are very secure/safe and think that everything is going well, listen to [IDM] what I say!
10 Nʼoge na-adịghị anya, mgbe otu afọ na abalị ole na ole gasịrị, unu bụ ndị nwere ntụkwasị obi ga-ama jijiji; nʼihi na mkpụrụ ubi vaịnị unu ga-emebi, owuwe mkpụrụ ihe ubi agaghị abịa.
One year from now, you who now (are not worried about anything/think that everything is going well) will tremble, because there will be no grapes for you to harvest and no [other] crops to harvest.
11 Maanụ jijiji, unu ndị inyom afọ juru, tụọ egwu unu ndị ada ndị nwere ntụkwasị obi. Yipụnụ uwe ọma unu, kekwasịnụ onwe unu akwa mkpe.
[So] tremble [now], you women who are not worried about anything! Take off your [fancy] clothes and put rough sackcloth around your waists.
12 Tienụ aka nʼobi nʼihi ubi unu na-enye afọ ojuju, nʼihi osisi vaịnị na-amị mkpụrụ.
Beat/Hit your breasts to show that you are grieving about [what will happen in] your fertile fields and to your fruitful grapevines,
13 Nʼihi na ogwu na uke ga-epupụta nʼala unu. Ruonụ uju, nʼihi na ụlọ niile unu na-anọ nʼime ya enwe obi ụtọ, na obodo niile unu na-anọ nʼime ya na-eri, na-aṅụ agakwaghị adị.
because [only] thorns and thistles will grow in your soil. Your houses where you had joyful parties and your city where you have been happy will be gone.
14 Nʼihi na a ga-ahapụ ebe niile e wusiri ike, gbahapụkwa obodo ahụ ụzụ na-adị nʼime ya; ụlọ elu nche niile na ebe niile ewusiri ike ga-abụ ebe ga-atọgbọrọ nʼefu ruo mgbe ebighị ebi, ha ga-aghọ ebe ịnyịnya ibu ọhịa ga na-enwe obi ụtọ, na ebe igwe anụ ụlọ ga na-akpa nri ha.
The [king’s] palace will be empty; there will be no people in the city that [now] is very noisy. Wild donkeys will walk around and flocks of sheep will eat grass in the empty forts and watchtowers.
15 Ha niile ga-adịgide otu a tutu ruo mgbe a ga-esite nʼeluigwe wụkwasị anyị Mmụọ Nsọ. Mgbe ahụ ọzara ga-aghọ ala ubi mara mma, ala ubi ọma ahụ ga-adịkwa ka ọhịa.
[It will be like that] until God pours his Spirit out on us from heaven. [When that happens], the deserts will become fertile fields, and abundant crops will grow in those fertile fields.
16 A ga-emekwa ka ikpe ziri ezi ga-ebi nʼọzara, ezi omume ga-adịkwa nʼubi ọma ahụ.
People [PRS] will act/rule justly/fairly in those desert areas, and people will act/rule righteously in those fertile fields.
17 Mkpụrụ nke ezi omume ahụ ga-abụ udo; ihe ga-esikwa na ya pụta ga-abụ ị nọ jụụ na ntụkwasị obi mgbe niile ebighị ebi.
And the result of their acting righteously will be that there will be peace, the land will be tranquil/quiet, and people will be secure/safe forever.
18 Ndị m ga-ebi nʼebe obibi nke udo, nʼụlọ nwere ezi nchekwa, nʼebe izuike nke nsogbu na-adịghị.
My people will live in their homes peacefully, and safely, and calmly, in places of rest.
19 A sikwa na mkpụrụ mmiri ezoo nʼoke ọhịa niile, a sikwa na e bibie obodo niile,
[Even if a severe] hailstorm knocks down [the trees in] the forest, and [all the buildings in] the city are blown down,
20 ndị a gọziri agọzi ka unu ga-abụ, mgbe unu na-agha mkpụrụ unu nʼakụkụ iyi, mgbe ehi unu na ịnyịnya ibu unu na-akpagharị na-aga ebe ọbụla ha chọrọ.
Yahweh [will greatly] bless you; you will plant [seeds in fields] alongside the streams [and there will be abundant crops]. Your donkeys and cattle will easily find grass to eat.
