< Aịzaya 24 >

1 Lee, na Onyenwe anyị na-aga ịgba ụwa ọtọ. Ọ na-aga ime ka ọ tọgbọrọ nʼefu. Ọ na-aga ibibicha ihe dị nʼelu ụwa, mee ka ndị bi nʼime ya gbasasịa.
Behold, YHWH maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
2 Otu ihe ahụ ka ọ ga-eme mmadụ niile, nye ndị nchụaja ma ndị mmadụ, nye ụmụodibo na ndị nwe ha, nye ndị odibo nwanyị, na nne ha ukwu, nye ndị na-azụ ihe a na-ere ere, na ndị na-ere ihe orire; nye ndị na-ebinye ego, na ndị a na-ebinye ego; nye ndị ji ụgwọ, na ndị e ji ụgwọ.
And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury so with the giver of usury to him.
3 O nweghị onye ọ ga-ahapụ. A ga-agba ala ahụ ọtọ kwakọrọ ihe niile dị nʼime ya. Nke a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru.
The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for YHWH hath spoken this word.
4 Ala atakọchaala, ma kpọnwụọ. Ụwa ahụjuola anya ma kpọnwụọ. Eluigwe na nʼụwa so na-ahụjukwa anya.
The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
7 Mmanya ọhụrụ atakọrọla, osisi vaịnị akpọnwụọkwala, nʼihi ya, ndị ahụ niile ọṅụ na-ejupụta nʼobi ha na-asụ ude.
The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.
8 Egwu ụtọ niile akwụsịla, mkpọtụ nke ndị na-eri oriri dị iche iche akwụsịla. Ụda obi ụtọ nke ụbọ akwara adịghịkwa.
The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
10 Obodo atọgbọrọla nʼefu; a kpọchichaala ọnụ ụzọ e si abata ụlọ ndị mmadụ ka onye ọbụla ghara inwe ike ịbata.
The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
11 Igwe ndị mmadụ nọ nʼokporoụzọ na-eti mkpu nʼihi na mmanya adịghịkwa. Ọṅụ adịghịkwa, otu a, ewezugakwala obi ụtọ site nʼụwa.
There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
12 Obodo ahụ aghọọla mkpọmkpọ ebe, e tikpọọla ọnụ ụzọ ya niile.
In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.
13 Otu a ka ọ ga-adị nʼụwa niile, nakwa nʼetiti mba niile, dịka mgbe a na-etitusi mkpụrụ dị nʼelu osisi oliv, maọbụ mgbe ahapụrụ ụfọdụ mkpụrụ grepu nʼelu osisi mgbe a ghọchasịrị ihe ubi.
When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.
14 Ma ndị niile fọdụrụ ga-eti mkpu ọṅụ; ndị nọ nʼọdịda anyanwụ ga-eto ịdị ebube nke Onyenwe anyị.
They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of YHWH, they shall cry aloud from the sea.
15 Ndị nọ nʼọwụwa anyanwụ ga-enye Onyenwe anyị otuto. Ndị bi nʼala nta niile osimiri gbara gburugburu ga-ebuli aha Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel elu.
Wherefore glorify ye YHWH in the fires, even the name of YHWH Elohim of Israel in the isles of the sea.
16 Anyị ga-anụ abụ ọma dị iche iche site na nsọtụ ụwa. Ha ga-abụ abụ na-asị, “Otuto dịrị Onye ezi omume ahụ.” Ma nʼezie, o nweghị olileanya dịịrị m. “Lee ka anụ ahụ m si na-akpọnwụ! Ahụhụ dịrị m! Nʼihi na ndị ahụ na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi ereela anyị. Akpịrị ego ha ka ha ji refuo anyị.”
From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.
Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 Onye ọbụla nʼime unu nke gbara ọsọ nʼihi ihe egwu ga-adaba nʼolulu; onye ọbụla sitekwara nʼolulu rịpụta ga-azọnye ụkwụ ya nʼọnya. Nʼihi na mmiri nke ịla nʼiyi esitela na mbara eluigwe na-ezokwasị unu. Ntọala ụwa na-amakwa jijiji.
And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 Ụwa adapịasịala; ụwa agbawasịala; e jirila oke ike nugharịa ụwa.
The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 Nʼụbọchị ahụ, Onyenwe anyị ga-ata ike usuu niile dị nʼeluigwe ahụhụ. Ọ ga-atakwa ndị eze niile nʼụwa ahụhụ.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that YHWH shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 A ga-achịkọta ha dịka ndị mkpọrọ, kpọchiekwa ha nʼụlọ mkpọrọ nʼebe ahụ ka ha ga-anọgide, tutu ruo mgbe a ga-ekpe ha ikpe.
And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Ọnwa ga-ada mba, anwụ ka ihere ga-eme; nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, ga-achị nʼugwu Zayọn nakwa nʼime Jerusalem, ọ ga-eji oke ebube chịa nʼihu ndị okenye ya.
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when YHWH of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
