< Aịzaya 2 >

1 Nke a bụ ihe Aịzaya nwa Emọz hụrụ banyere Juda na Jerusalem.
That which Isaiah, son of Amoz saw in vision, —concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 Nʼụbọchị ikpeazụ, ugwu nke ụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị, ga-abụ nke eguzobere dịka ugwu dị elu karịa ugwu niile, a ga-ebuli ya elu karịa ugwu nta niile, mba niile dị iche iche ga-eruba nʼime ya dịka iyi.
But it shall come to pass, in the afterpart of the days, That the mountain of the house of Yahweh Shall be, set up, as the head of the mountains, And be exalted above the hills, —And all the nations, shall stream thereunto;
3 Ọtụtụ ndị mmadụ ga-abịa ma sịkwa, “Bịanụ, ka anyị rigoruo ugwu Onyenwe anyị, ka anyị gaa nʼụlọnsọ ukwu Chineke nke Jekọb. Ọ ga-akụziri anyị ụzọ ya niile, ka anyị nwe ike jee ije nʼokporoụzọ ya niile.” Iwu ga-esi na Zayọn pụta, okwu Onyenwe anyị ga-esitekwa na Jerusalem pụta.
And many peoples shall go and say—Come ye, and let us ascend Unto the mountain of Yahweh Unto the house of the God of Jacob, That he may teach us of his ways, And we may walk in his paths, —For, out of Zion, shall go forth a law, And the word of Yahweh out of Jerusalem;
And he will judge between the nations, And be umpire to many peoples, —And they will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning-hooks, Nation—against nation, shall not lift up sword, Neither shall they learn any more to make war,
5 Unu ụlọ Jekọb, bịanụ ka anyị na-agbaso ìhè nke Onyenwe anyị anyị.
O house of Jacob! come ye and let us walk in the light of Yahweh.
Therefore hast thou abandoned thy people the house of Jacob, Because they have become full of the East, And use hidden arts like the Philistines, —And with the children of foreigners, strike hands; —
7 Ala ha jupụtara nʼọlaọcha na ọlaedo, ha bara ụba nke ukwuu. Ala ha jupụtara nʼịnyịnya. Ụgbọ agha ha dịkwa ukwuu.
So that filled is their land with silver and gold, And there is no end to their treasures, —And filled is their land with horses, And there is no end to their chariots;
8 Ala ha jupụtara nʼarụsị, ha na-akpọ isiala nye ihe ndị ahụ ha ji aka ha kpụọ, ihe ndị ahụ mkpịsịaka ha kpụrụ.
And filled is their land with idols, —To the work of their own hands, do they bow themselves down, To that which they made with their own fingers.
9 Nʼihi ya, a ga-eme ka mmadụ bụrụ ihe e wedara nʼala, meekwa ka mmadụ niile bụrụ ndị e wedara nʼala. Ya mere, agbagharala ha.
So the mean man boweth down And the great man stoopeth low, —Therefore do not thou forgive them!
10 Gaanụ nʼime nkume, zoonụ nʼime ala nʼihi ihe egwu si nʼebe Onyenwe anyị, na nʼihi ịma mma ebube nke ịdị ukwuu ya.
Enter into the rock, Or hide thee in the dust, —Because of the terribleness of Yahweh, And for his majestic splendour.
11 Anya nke onye nganga ka a ga-eweda nʼala, mpako nke ndị mmadụ ka a ga-ewedakwa nʼala. Ọ bụ naanị Onyenwe anyị ka a ga-ebuli elu nʼụbọchị ahụ.
The lofty looks of mean men, shall be humbled, And, the haughtiness of great men, shall be bowed down, —And Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.
12 Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, nwere ụbọchị ọ kwadooro nye ndị mpako na ndị na-ebuli onwe ha elu, nʼihi na ihe niile e buliri elu (ka a ga-eweda nʼala),
For, a day of Yahweh of hosts, [shall be] —Upon every one who is high and lofty, —And upon every one who is lifted up, And he shall be brought low;
13 nye osisi sida niile topụrụ ogologo ma maa mma nke Lebanọn, na osisi ook niile nke Bashan,
And upon all cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, —And upon all the oaks of Bashan;
14 nye ugwu ukwu niile nke dị elu, na ugwu nta niile e buliri elu,
And upon all the lofty mountains, —And upon all the uplifted hills;
15 nye ụlọ elu niile, na mgbidi niile e wusiri ike,
And upon every high tower, —And upon every fortress wall;
16 nye ụgbọ mmiri niile e ji azụ ahịa, na ụgbọ mmiri ndị ọzọ niile buru ibu maa mma.
And upon all the ships of Tarshish, —And upon all desirable banners.
17 Onye nganga ka a ga-eweda nʼala, mpako nke ndị mmadụ niile ka a ga-eweda nʼala. Naanị Onyenwe anyị ka a ga-ebuli elu nʼụbọchị ahụ.
And the haughtiness of mean men, shall be humbled, —And the loftiness of great men, shall be laid low, —And Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.
18 A ga-ala arụsị niile nʼiyi, mee ka ha ghara ịdịkwa.
And, the idols, shall wholly pass away;
19 Ndị mmadụ ga-agba ọsọ gbaba nʼọnụ dị na nkume, na nʼọnụ e gwuru nʼala, nʼihi egwu Onyenwe anyị, na nʼihi ịma mma ebube nke ịdị ukwuu ya, mgbe ọ ga-ebili ịyọgharị ụwa.
And they shall enter into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of clay, —Because of the terribleness of Yahweh, And for his majestic splendour, When he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
In that day shall the son of earth cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, —which had been made for him to worship, into the hole of the mice, and to the bats;
21 Mgbe ahụ, ha ga-ezo onwe ha nʼoghere niile dị nʼoke nkume, na nʼime ọgba niile nke oke nkume nʼihi ịgbanarị iwe ọkụ Onyenwe anyị, na ịma mma ebube nke ịdị ukwuu ya, mgbe o biliri ịyọgharị ụwa.
That he may enter into the clefts of the rocks, and into the fissures of the crags, —Because of the terribleness of Yahweh, And for his majestic splendour, When he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
22 Kwụsị ịtụkwasị mmadụ efu obi. O nweghị ihe ọ bụ karịa naanị nkuume ahụ dị ya nʼime, nʼihi gịnị ka e ji agụnye ya?
Cease ye from the son of earth, In whose nostrils is but a breath, —For wherein to be reckoned upon, is he?
