< Aịzaya 13 >

1 Nke a bụ amụma megide Babilọn nke Aịzaya nwa Emọz hụrụ.
A declaration about Babylon, that Isaiah son of Amoz received:
2 Welienụ ọkọlọtọ agha nʼelu ugwu tọgbọrọ nʼefu. Kpọkuonụ ndị agha. Feerenụ ha aka, ka ha site nʼọnụ ụzọ ama nke ndị a maara aha ha bata nʼime obodo ukwu ahụ na-anya isi.
On the bare mountain set up a signal flag, cry aloud to them, wave your hand for them to go into the gates of the nobles.
3 Enyela m ndị m kwadoro maka agha iwu; akpọọla m ndị ọka agha m oku, bụ ndị na-aṅụrị ọṅụ na mmeri m, ka ha gosipụta oke iwe m. E, ndị m kpọrọ bụ ndị ahụ na-aṅụrị ọṅụ ịhụ na m meriri ndị iro m.
I have commanded my holy ones, yes, I have called my mighty men to execute my anger, even my proudly exulting ones.
4 Gee ntị nụrụ ụzụ na-ada nʼugwu niile; gee ntị nụrụ ụzụ yiri ụzụ nke igwe mmadụ na-eme. Gee ntị nụrụ mkpọtụ na-ada nʼetiti alaeze dị iche iche. Dịka mkpọtụ na-eme mgbe ọtụtụ mba na-ezukọta nʼotu ebe. Ọ bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile na-achịkọta ndị agha ya nʼihi ibu agha.
The noise of a multitude in the mountains, as of many people! The noise of a tumult of the kingdoms like many nations gathered together! Yahweh of hosts is mustering the army for the battle.
5 Ha si nʼobodo dị iche iche, nke dị anya na nke dị na nsọtụ ụwa na-abịa. Ha bu ngwa agha na-egosi oke iwe Onyenwe anyị na-abịa imebi ala ahụ niile.
They come from a far country, from way over the horizon. It is Yahweh with his instruments of judgment, to destroy the whole land.
6 Kwasienụ akwa ike nʼihi na ụbọchị Onyenwe anyị dị nso, ụbọchị ahụ oke mbibi ga-esi nʼaka Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile bịara unu.
Howl, for the day of Yahweh is near; it comes with destruction from the Almighty.
7 Nʼihi nke a, aka ndị mmadụ ga-ada mba, obi ga-alọkwa ndị mmadụ mmiri.
Therefore all hands hang limp, and every heart melts.
8 Ha ga-ama jijiji nʼihi oke egwu. Ahụ mgbu ga-abịakwasị ha mee ka ha sụọ ude dịka nwanyị ime na-eme. Ha ga-elerịta onwe ha anya nʼọnọdụ mgbagwoju anya, ha agaghị amakwa ihe ha ga-eme. Ọnọdụ dị otu a ga-apụta ihe nʼihu ha.
They will be terrified; pain and agony will seize them, like a woman in labor. They will look in astonishment at one another; their faces will be aflame.
See, the day of Yahweh comes with cruel wrath and overflowing anger, to make the land a desolation and to destroy the sinners from it.
10 Nʼihi na kpakpando niile nke eluigwe na kpakpando ndị ọzọ gbara ha gburugburu agaghị egosipụta ìhè ha. Anyanwụ ga-agba ọchịchịrị nʼọwụwa ya ọnwa agakwaghị enye ìhè ya.
The stars of heaven and the constellations will not give their light. The sun will be darkened even from dawn, and the moon will not shine.
11 Aga m ata ụwa ahụhụ nʼihi mmehie ya, taakwa ndị na-emebi iwu ahụhụ nʼihi mmehie ha. Ịnya isi nke onye mpako ka m ga-egwepịa, ya na nganga onye na-adịghị eme ebere.
I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their iniquity. I will put an end to the arrogance of the proud and will bring down the arrogance of the ruthless.
12 Aga m eme ka mmadụ dị ụkọ karịa ọlaedo a nụchara anụcha, ha ga-akọ ụkọ karịa ọlaedo si Ọfịa.
I will make men more rare than fine gold and mankind harder to find than the pure gold of Ophir.
13 Nʼihi na m ga-eme ka eluigwe maa jijiji, meekwa ka e wezuga ụwa site nʼọnọdụ ya, nʼihi oke iwe ga-ewe Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile. Ha ga-emezu nʼụbọchị ahụ ọ ga-ezipụta oke iwe ya dị ọkụ.
Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place, by the fury of Yahweh of hosts, and on the day of his fierce anger.
14 Ọ ga-erukwa na onye ọbụla nʼime ha ga-eche ihu ya nʼụzọ gawara ebe ndị ya nọ. Ha ga-agbarakwa ọsọ laghachi nʼala nke aka ha dịka mgbada na-agbanarị ndị na-achụ nta, maọbụ ụmụ atụrụ ndị na-enweghị onye na-azụ ha.
Like a hunted gazelle or like a sheep with no shepherd, every man will turn toward his own people and will flee to his own land.
15 Onye ọbụla e jidere nʼime ha ka a ga-amapu afọ, onye ọbụla nke e jidere ka a ga-eji mma agha gbuo.
Every one who is found will be killed, and every one who is captured will die by the sword.
16 A ga-etipịa ụmụ ha na-aṅụ ara nʼihu ha; a ga-anapụ ha ụlọ ha, merụkwaa ndị nwunye ha.
Their infants also will be dashed in pieces before their eyes. Their houses will be plundered and their wives raped.
17 Nʼihi na lee, aga m eme ka ndị Midia pụọ imegide ha; ọ dịkwaghị ọlaedo maọbụ ọlaọcha ha pụrụ iji megharịa ha anya.
Look, I am about to stir up the Medes to attack them, who will not be concerned about silver, nor do they delight in gold.
18 Ha ga-eji ụta ha gbatusịa ụmụ okorobịa; ha agaghị emekwara ụmụntakịrị ebere, maọbụ gosi ụmụ na-etopụta etopụta obi ebere.
Their bows will strike down the young men; they will have no mercy on infants and they will not look with pity on children.
19 Babilọn, bụ ọla mma nke alaeze niile, ịma mma na ebube ndị Kaldịa, mgbe Chineke ga-akwatu ya ọ ga-adị ka Sọdọm na Gọmọra.
Then Babylon, the most admired of kingdoms, the splendor of Chaldean pride, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah.
20 Ọ gaghị abụ ebe obibi ọzọ ruo mgbe ebighị ebi. Site nʼotu ọgbọ ruo nʼọgbọ ọzọ ndị mmadụ agaghị ebi nʼime ya. Ọ dịghị onye Arebịa na-ejegharị ejegharị ga-ama ụlọ ikwu ya nʼime ya; ndị ọzụzụ atụrụ agaghị ekwe ka atụrụ ha makpuru nʼebe ahụ.
It will not be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation. The Arab will not pitch his tent there, nor will shepherds have their flocks rest there.
21 Ọ ga-abụ ebe obibi nye anụ ọhịa niile bi nʼọzara. Ụlọ dị nʼebe ahụ ga-abụkwa ebe obibi nye nkịta ọhịa, na ikwighịkwighị, nʼebe ahụ kwa ka ụmụ mkpi ọhịa ga na-awụgharị.
But wild animals of the desert will lie there. Their houses will be full of owls; and ostriches and wild goats will skip about there.
22 A ga-anụkwa ụda akwa anụ ọhịa, na ịgbọ ụja nkịta ọhịa nʼime ụlọ ha niile e wusiri ike. Nkịta ọhịa ga-ebikwa nʼime ụlọ ọma niile dị nʼebe ahụ. Lee na oge ha ji emezu adịla nso, a gaghị emekwa ka oge imezu ihe ndị a dị anya.
Hyenas will cry in their fortresses, and jackals in the beautiful palaces. Her time is near, and her days will not be delayed.
