< Aịzaya 10 >
1 Ahụhụ na-adịrị ndị niile na-atụpụta iwu na-ezighị ezi; ndị niile na-atụpụta iwu mmegbu,
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness [which] they have prescribed;
2 iji napụ ndị ogbenye ihe ruru ha nakwa ịnapụ ndị m a na-emegbu emegbu ikpe ziri ezi, na-emekwa ka ụmụ nwanyị di ha nwụrụ bụrụ anụ oriri ha na izunara ụmụ na-enweghị nne na nna ihe ha nwere.
To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and [that] they may rob the fatherless!
3 Gịnị ka unu ga-eme nʼụbọchị m ga-abịa ileta unu? Gịnị ka unu ga-eme nʼụbọchị m ga-eweta ịla nʼiyi, nke ga-esi nʼebe dị anya bịara unu? Onye ka unu ga-agbakwuru maka enyemaka? Ọ bụ ebe ka unu ga-ahapụ akụ unu niile?
And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation [which] shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
4 Mba, ọ dịghị ihe ga-afọdụ; karịa na a ga-egbu unu nʼihu ọgụ, maọbụ dọkpụrụ unu dịka ndị mkpọrọ. Ma nʼagbanyeghị ihe ndị a niile, iwe ya alaghachibeghị azụ, aka ya ka setịpụkwara esetipụ.
Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.
5 “Ahụhụ ga-adịrị Asịrịa onye bụ mkpara nke iwe m. Nʼaka ya ka mkpọ nke ọnụma m dị.
O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
6 Ana m ezipu ya imegide mba a na-amaghị Chineke, m na-eziga ya imegide ndị na-akpasu m iwe, ka ha kwakọrọ ihe nkwata nʼagha ha, pụnakwara ha ụfọdụ nʼike, nakwa ịzọtọ ndị ha niile nʼala dịka apịtị nke okporoụzọ.
I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 Ma ọ bụghị ihe a ka o zubere, nke a abụghị ihe ọ na-eche nʼobi ya; o zubere ịla ndị m nʼiyi, na ibibi ọtụtụ mba dị iche iche.
Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but [it is] in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
8 Ọ sịrị, ‘Ndị ọchịagha m niile ha abụghị ndị eze?’
For he saith, [Are] not my princes altogether kings?
9 ‘Ọnọdụ Kalno ọ dịghị ka nke Kakemish? Hamat ọ dịghị ka Apad; Sameria ọ dịghịkwa ka Damaskọs?
[Is] not Calno as Carchemish? [is] not Hamath as Arpad? [is] not Samaria as Damascus?
10 Dịka aka m si chịkọta alaeze dị iche iche nke ọtụtụ arụsị, alaeze dị iche iche nke arụsị apịrị apị ha karịrị nke Jerusalem na Sameria.
As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
12 Mgbe Onyenwe anyị rụsịrị ọrụ ya niile megide ugwu Zayọn na Jerusalem, ọ ga-asị, “Aga m ata eze ndị Asịrịa ahụhụ nʼihi nganga nke obi ha, na ịnya isi nke anya mpako ya.
Wherefore it shall come to pass, [that] when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
13 Nʼihi na ọ na-asị, “‘Ọ bụ site nʼike aka m, ka m ji mee nke a, ọ bụkwa na amamihe m, nʼihi na m nwere nghọta. Ewezugara m oke ala mba niile dị iche iche, apụnara m ha akụ ha niile; dịka onye dị ike, e wedara m ndị eze ha niile nʼokpuru m.
For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done [it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant [man: ]
14 Dịka mmadụ si agbatị aka nʼime akwụ nnụnụ, otu a ka m chịkọtara akụnụba mba dị iche iche, dịka mmadụ si achịkọta akwa ahapụrụ ahapụ, otu a ka m chịkọtara mba ụwa niile; Ọ dịghị onye megharịrị otu nku, maọbụ saghee ọnụ ya ime mkpọtụ!’”
And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs [that are] left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? [or] shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake [itself] against them that lift it up, [or] as if the staff should lift up [itself, as if it were] no wood.
16 Nʼihi ya, Onyenwe anyị, bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, ga-ezitere ndị agha gị mara abụba ihe otiti; ọ ga-akwanye ọkụ nʼokpuru ihe ngosipụta nke ịdị ebube ya dịka ire ọkụ nke na-ere ere.
Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
18 A ga-ala ịma mma nke oke ọhịa ya na ala ya na-amị ezi mkpụrụ nʼiyi kpamkpam, dịka mgbe ọrịa na-ala mmadụ nʼiyi.
And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.
19 Naanị osisi ole na ole ga-afọdụ, ha ga-adị ntakịrị ruo na nwantakịrị nwere ike gụọ ha ọnụ.
And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.
20 Nʼụbọchị ahụ, ndị fọdụrụ nʼala Izrel, na ndị fọdụrụ ndụ nʼụlọ Jekọb, agaghịkwa adabere nʼonye ahụ tidara ha, kama ha ga-adabere naanị na Onyenwe anyị, Onye nsọ nke Izrel.
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
21 Ndị fọdụrụ ga-alọghachi, bụ ndị Nke Jekọb fọdụrụ ga-alọghachikwute Chineke dị ukwuu.
The remnant shall return, [even] the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
22 Ọ bụ ezie na ndị gị Izrel dị ukwuu dịka aja dị nʼakụkụ osimiri, ọ bụ naanị mmadụ ole na ole ga-alọghachi. A kabiela ịla nʼiyi, nke dị oke ukwuu ya na ezi omume.
For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, [yet] a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23 E, Onyenwe anyị, Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, ekpebiela na ọ ga-ebibi ala ahụ niile.
For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
24 Ya mere, ihe a ka Onyenwe anyị, bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, sịrị, “Unu ndị m, ndị bi na Zayọn, unu atụkwala ndị Asịrịa egwu bụ ndị na-eti unu mkpara igwe, na-ewelikwa mkpọ megide unu dịka ndị Ijipt mere.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.
26 Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, ga-eji ụtarị tie ha ihe dịka o sịrị tie ndị Midia ihe na nkume Oreb. Ọ ga-eweli mkpanaka ya nʼelu oke osimiri, ọ ga-eweli ya dịka o mere nʼIjipt.
And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and [as] his rod [was] upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
27 Nʼụbọchị ahụ, aga m eme ka unu nwere onwe unu site nʼebe ndị Asịrịa nọ. Ụdọ igwe ha kenyere unu nʼolu ka m ga-adọbisi, wezuga ibu arọ unu.
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
28 Ha erutela Ayịat; ugbu a, ha nọ na Migrọn. Ha na-edokọta ngwa agha ha na Mikmash.
He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages:
29 Lee ka ha na-agabiga ụzọ warawara; ha ekpebiela ịnọ ọnọdụ abalị na Geba! Ndị Rema na-ama jijiji, obodo Gibea nke bụ obodo Sọl agbapụla ọsọ ndụ.
They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled.
30 Tienụ mkpu akwa unu ada Galim, geenụ ntị unu ndị Laisha! Leenụ ihe na-adanyere gị, gị Anatot!
Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.
31 Lee na Madmena nọ nʼọsọ, ndị Gebim na-ezo onwe ha.
Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.
32 Ndị iro akwụsịla nʼobodo Nob taa; ha na-atụ ugwu Zayọn na Jerusalem aka, na-ekwere ya nʼisi.
As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand [against] the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Lee Onyenwe anyị, Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, ga-eji oke ike gbutuo ngalaba osisi niile. Ọ ga-egbutukwa osisi ndị dị elu, meekwa ka ndị toro ogologo dị ala.
Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature [shall be] hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.
