Hosiya 5
1 “Nụrụnụ nke a, unu ndị nchụaja! Geenụ ntị, unu ụlọ Izrel! Geenụ ntị, unu ndị ezinaụlọ eze. Nʼihi na ọ bụ unu ka ikpe ahụ gbasara. Nʼihi na unu abụrụla ihe ị maa nʼọnya na Mizpa, na ụgbụ agbasara nʼelu Taboa.
Hear ye this—O priests, and attend, O house of Israel, and ye, House of the King, give ear, for, to you, pertaineth the sentence, —for, a snare, have ye been to Mizpah, and a net spread on Tabor.
2 Ndị nnupu isi ahụ abamiela ime nʼigbu mmadụ, aga m ata ha niile ahụhụ.
And, a slaughter, have apostates deeply designed, —though, I, was a rebuker to them all.
3 Amaara m ihe niile gbasara Ifrem, ọ dịkwaghị ihe zoro ezo banyere Izrel nʼebe m nọ. Gị Ifrem, ugbu a ị gbawala akwụna; gị Izrel, emerụọkwala gị.
I, have known Ephraim, and, Israel, hath not been hidden from me, —for, now, hast thou committed unchastity, O Ephraim, Israel, hath made himself impure.
4 “Omume ha agaghị ekwe ka ha laghachikwute Chineke ha, nʼihi na mmụọ nke ịkwa iko ewerela ute biri nʼime ha, ha amaghịkwa Onyenwe anyị.
Their doings, will not suffer, them to return unto their God, —for, the spirit of unchastity, is within them, and, Yahweh, have they not known.
5 Mpako niile nke Izrel na-agba ama megide ha, Ọ bụladị Izrel na Ifrem na-asọ ngọngọ nʼime mmehie ha, Juda, nʼonwe ya, soo ha na-asọ ngọngọ.
Therefore will the Excellency of Israel, answer, to his face, —and, Israel and Ephraim, shall stumble in their iniquity, even Judah with them, hath stumbled.
6 Mgbe ha ga-eji igwe ewu na atụrụ ha na igwe ehi ha, gaa ịchọ Onyenwe anyị, ha agaghị achọta ya. Nʼihi na o sitela nʼebe ha nọ wezuga onwe ya.
With their flocks and with their herds, will they go to seek Yahweh, but shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.
7 Ha bụ ndị na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi nye Onyenwe anyị. Ha mụrụ ụmụ a kwatara nʼiko. Ugbu a, mmemme ọnwa ọhụrụ ha ga-eripịa ha na ala ubi ha.
With Yahweh, have they dealt treacherously, for, to alien children, have they given birth, —now, a new moon, shall devour them, with their portions.
8 “Fụọ opi ike na Gibea, fụkwaa mpi anụ na Rema. Tie mkpu agha na Bet-Aven. Lee anya nʼazụ gị, Benjamin.
Blow ye a horn in Gibeah, a trumpet in Ramah, —sound an alarm at Beth-aven, behind thee, O Benjamin!
9 A ga-ebibi Ifrem kpamkpam nʼụbọchị ahụ m ga-ata ha ahụhụ. Nʼetiti ebo nke Izrel niile, ka m na-ekwusa ka amara na ọ bụ okwu kwesiri ntụkwasị obi.
Ephraim, shall become, a desolation, in the day of rebuke: Throughout the tribes of Israel, have I hide known what is sure.
10 Ndị ndu Juda adịla ka ndị ahụ na-ewezuga oke ala, aga m awụkwasị ha iwe m dịka uju mmiri ozuzo.
The rulers of Judah have become as they who remove a land-mark. Upon them, will I pour out, like water, my wrath.
11 Ifrem bụ onye a na-emegbu emegbu, onye e ji ike na-azọpịa, nʼihi na ọ kpacha anya na-achụso ihe efu.
Oppressed, is Ephraim, crushed in judgment, —because he hath, wilfully, walked after falsehood.
12 Adị m ka nla nye Ifrem, dịkwa ka ihe na-eweta ire ure dịịrị ndị Juda.
But, I, was like a moth, to Ephraim, —and like rotten wood to the house of Judah.
13 “Mgbe Ifrem hụrụ ụdị ọrịa ọ na-arịa, Juda ahụkwa ọnya dị ya nʼahụ, mgbe ahụ Ifrem gakwuru ndị Asịrịa, ma zigakwara eze ukwu ahụ ozi. Ma ọ pụghị ịgwọ gị, maọbụ gwọọ ọnya gị niile.
When Ephraim, saw, his injury, and Judah his wound, then went Ephraim unto Assyria, and [Judah] sent unto a hostile king, —yet, he, cannot heal you, nor will the wound, remove from you.
14 Nʼihi na-aga m adị ka ọdụm nye Ifrem dịkwa ka nwa ọdụm nye Juda. Aga m adọkasị anụ ahụ ha ma hapụ ha pụọ. Aga m ebupụ ha pụọ, na-enweghị onye ga-abịa ịzọpụta ha.
For, I, will be as a lion unto Ephraim, and as a young lion to the house of Judah, —I, I, will tear in pieces, and depart, I will carry off, and none be able to rescue.
15 Aga m alaghachi azụ nʼọnọdụ m, ruo mgbe ha kweere na ikpe mara ha, ma chọọ ihu m; nʼọnọdụ mmekpa ahụ ha, ha ga-achọsi m ike.”
I will depart, will return unto my place! till what time they acknowledge their guilt, and seek my face, —In their trouble, will they make for me diligent search.
