1 Onyenwe anyị gwara m ọzọ, “Gakwuru nwanyị a na-akwa iko, nke na-emekwa enyi na-ezighị ezi, gosi ya ịhụnanya gị dịka Onyenwe anyị si hụ ndị Izrel nʼanya, nʼagbanyeghị na ha na-eso chi ndị ọzọ na-enwekwa mmasị dị ukwuu nʼachịcha nsọ e ji mkpụrụ osisi a mịkpọrọ amịkpọ mee.”
Then said the Lord to me, Goe yet, and loue a woman (beloued of her husband, and was an harlot) according to the loue of the Lord toward the children of Israel: yet they looked to other gods, and loued the wine bottels.
2 Nʼihi ya, eweere m ego ọlaọcha dị iri na ise, na otu ntụju ọka homa, na ọka balị zụta ya.
So I bought her to me for fifteene pieces of siluer, and for an homer of barlie and an halfe homer of barlie.
3 Mgbe ahụ agwara m ya, “Mụ na gị ga-ebi ọtụtụ ụbọchị, ị gaghị agbakwa akwụna, maọbụ nwee nwoke ọbụla gị na ya ga-enwe mmekọ, otu a ka m ga-emekwa nʼebe ị nọ.”
And I said vnto her, Thou shalt abide with me many dayes: thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt be to none other man, and I will be so vnto thee.
4 Nke a na-egosi na Izrel ga-anọ ogologo mgbe na-enweghị eze maọbụ onye ọchịchị. Ọ gaghị enwe ịchụ aja maọbụ nkume nsọ maọbụ efọọd maọbụ arụsị ezinaụlọ.
For the children of Israel shall remaine many dayes without a King and without a prince, and without an offering, and without an image, and without an Ephod and without Teraphim.
5 Mgbe nke a gasịrị, Izrel ga-alọghachi, chọọ Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke ha, na Devid bụ eze ha. Ha ga-ewere ịma jijiji bịakwute Onyenwe anyị, bịaghachitekwa ngọzị ya nʼoge ikpeazụ a.
Afterward shall the children of Israel conuert, and seeke the Lord their God, and Dauid their King, and shall feare the Lord, and his goodnes in the latter dayes.
