Hosiya 13
1 Na mbụ, mgbe ọbụla Ifrem kwuru okwu, a na-enwe ọma jijiji, nʼihi na ọ bụ onye e buliri elu nʼIzrel. Ma ikpe maara ya nʼihi ofufe o fere Baal, ọ nwụkwara.
When spoke Ephraim trembling he lifted up he in Israel and he became guilty by Baal and he died.
2 Ugbu a, ha na-aga nʼihu nʼime mmehie, ha na-eji ọlaọcha na-akpụrụ onwe ha arụsị dị iche iche, nke ha ji uche kpachara anya kpụzie nke ọma, ha niile bụ akaọrụ ndị ǹka. Ha onwe ha na-ekwu, “Ha na-achụ aja ụmụ mmadụ. Ha na-esusukwa nwa ehi a kpụrụ akpụ ọnụ”
And now - they increase to sin and they have made for themselves a molten image from silver their according to skill their idols [is the] work of craftsmen all of it of them they [are] saying [those who] offer sacrifice of humankind calves they will kiss!

And I [am] Yahweh God your from [the] land of Egypt and gods besides me not you must know and [is] a deliverer there not except me.
5 Elekọtara m unu nʼime ọzara, nʼala ahụ kpọrọ nkụ, nke mmiri na-adịghị.
I I knew you in the wilderness in a land of drought.
6 Mgbe m nyere ha nri, ha rijukwara afọ. Mgbe afọ juru ha, ha bidoro ịkpa nganga, chefuo m.
According to pasture their and they were satisfied they were satisfied and it was exalted heart their there-fore they forgot me.
7 Nʼihi ya, aghaghị m ịbịakwasị ha dịka ọdụm; maọbụ dịka agụ nke na-ezo onwe ya nʼakụkụ ụzọ.

8 Aga m adakwasị ha dịka anụ ọhịa bịa nke a gbabara aka ụmụ ya, dọwasịa anụ ahụ kpuchiri obi ha aga m eripịa ha dịka ọdụm, anụ ọhịa ga-adọkasịkwa ha.
I will meet them like a bear robbed of cubs so I may tear [the] cavity of heart their and I will devour them there like a lion animal of the field it will tear to pieces them.
9 “Aga m ala gị nʼiyi, gị Izrel, onye pụrụ inyere gị aka?
It will destroy you O Israel for in me in helper your.
10 Ebee ka ndị eze gị nọ, ka ha bịa zọpụta gị? Ebee ka ndịisi ọchịchị nke obodo gị niile nọ, bụ ndị ahụ i ji nʼihi ha na-asị, ‘Nye m eze na ndị ọchịchị’?
Where? [is] king your then so he may save you in all cities your and rulers your whom you said give! to me a king and leaders.
11 Esitere m nʼiwe m nye gị eze, sitekwa nʼọnụma m, napụ gị ya.
I gave to you a king in anger my so I may take [him] away in wrath my.
12 Njehie nke Ifrem ka e kechikọtara debe; a na-edetukwa mmehie ya niile nʼakwụkwọ.
[is] bound up [the] iniquity of Ephraim [is] stored up sin his.
13 Ihe mgbu nke dịka ihe mgbu nwanyị ime na-eme na-abịakwasị ya; maọbụ nwantakịrị na-enweghị uche. Mgbe oge ya zuru, ọ jụrụ ịpụta site nʼọnụ akpanwa ka a mụpụta ya.
[the] pains of [one who] gives birth They will come to him he [is] a son not wise if a time not he will present himself at birth of children.
14 “Aga m anapụta ha site nʼike nke Ala mmụọ. Aga m agbapụta ha site nʼọnwụ. Gị ọnwụ, olee ebe ajọọ ọrịa gị niile na-efe efe dị? Gị ala mmụọ, olee ebe ike ịla nʼiyi gị dị? “Agaghị m enwe ọmịiko ọbụla, (Sheol h7585)
From [the] hand of Sheol will I ransom? them from death will I redeem? them where? [are] thorns your O death where? [is] destruction your O Sheol compassion it will be hidden from eyes my. (Sheol h7585)
15 ọ bụ ezie na ya onwe ya bụ onye na-amị mkpụrụ nʼetiti ụmụnne ya niile. Ma oke ifufe si nʼọwụwa anyanwụ, nke Onyenwe anyị zitere, ga-esi nʼọzara fekwasị ya. Isi iyi niile ga-ata, olulu mmiri ya ga-atakọrọkwa. A ga-apụnara ya ihe dị nʼụlọakụ ya niile, na akụ niile o nwere.
For he a son brothers he flourishes it will come an east wind [the] wind of Yahweh from [the] wilderness [is] about to come up and it may be withered spring his so it may be dried up spring his it it will plunder [the] treasury of every article of preciousness.
16 Sameria aghaghị ịta ahụhụ ikpe ọmụma ya, nʼihi na o nupuru isi megide Chineke ha. A ga-eji mma agha gbuo ndị ya niile, tụpịa ụmụntakịrị ya niile nʼala, jirikwa mma agha bọwaa ndị inyom niile dị ime.”
It will be held guilty Samaria for it has rebelled against God its by the sword they will fall children their they will be dashed in pieces and pregnant [women] its they will be ripped open.
