1 Mgbe ihe ndị a gasịrị, Chineke gọziri Noa na ụmụ ya sị ha: “Mụọnụ, baanụ, jupụtanụ nʼụwa.
And God blessed Noe and his sonnes and sayd vnto them: Increase and multiplye and fyll the erth.
2 Egwu unu na ụjọ unu ga-adakwasị anụmanụ niile nke ụwa nke dị ndụ, na anụ ufe niile nke eluigwe, na ihe e kere eke niile na-akpụgharị nʼala, na azụ niile dị nʼosimiri. Ewerela m ha niile nyefee unu nʼaka.
The feare also and drede of yow be vppon all beastes of the erth and vppon all foules of the ayre ad vppon all that crepeth on the erth and vppon all fyshes of the see which are geven vnto youre handes
3 Ihe ọbụla dị ndụ nke na-ejegharị ejegharị ga-abụ nri unu. Enyela m unu ihe niile ugbu a dịka m si nye unu ahịhịa ndụ niile.
And all that moveth vppon the erth havynge lyfe shall be youre meate: Euen as ye grene herbes so geue I yow all thynge.
4 “Ma unu agaghị eri anụ ọbụla nke ọbara ndụ ya dị ya nʼahụ.
Only the flesh with his life which is his bloud se that ye eate not.
5 Ma gbasara ọbara ndụ unu, unu ga-asara ọnụ unu nʼihu m. Anụmanụ ọbụla ga-asara ọnụ ya nʼihu m. Mmadụ ọbụla kwa ga-asara ọnụ ya nʼihu m banyere ndụ mmadụ ibe ya.
For verely the bloude of yow wherein youre lyves are wyll I requyre: Eue of the hande of all beastes wyll I requyre it And of the hande of man and of the hand off euery mannes brother wyll I requyre the lyfe of man:
6 “Onye ọbụla wufuru ọbara mmadụ, nʼaka mmadụ ka a ga-awụfu ọbara nke ya, nʼihi nʼoyiyi Chineke ka Chineke mere mmadụ.
so yt he which shedeth mannes bloude shall haue hys bloud shed by man agayne: for God made man after his awne lycknesse.
7 Ma unu onwe unu, mịanụ mkpụrụ, mụbaanụ, jupụtanụ ụwa, baakwanụ ụba nʼime ya.”
See that ye encrease and waxe and be occupyde vppon the erth and multiplye therein.
8 Chineke gwara Noa na ụmụ ya sị,
Farthermore God spake vnto Noe and to hys sonnes wyth hym saynge:
9 “Ugbu a, ana m ehiwe ọgbụgba ndụ nʼetiti mụ na unu, na nʼetiti agbụrụ unu ndị ga-anọchi unu,
see I make my bod wyth you and youre seed after you
10 na nʼetiti ihe niile nwere ndụ nke unu na ha so, ụmụ anụ ufe, na ụmụ anụ ụlọ, na ụmụ anụ ọhịa niile, ndị ahụ niile so unu si nʼụgbọ mmiri pụta, bụ ihe niile nwere ndụ nʼụwa.
and wyth all lyvynge thinge that is wyth you: both foule and catell and all maner beste of the erth that is wyth yow of all that commeth out of the arke what soeuer beste of the erth it be.
11 Ebe ọ bụ na m ehiwela ọgbụgba ndụ m nʼetiti mụ na unu, ọ gaghị emekwa ọzọ na a ga-eji uju mmiri kpochapụ ihe niile e kere eke, ọ gaghị emekwa ọzọ na a ga-eji uju mmiri bibie ụwa.”
I make my bonde wyth yow that hence forth all flesh shall not be destroyed wyth yt waters of any floud ad yt hence forth there shall not be a floud to destroy the erth.
12 Chineke kwuru sị, “Nke a bụ ihe ama nke ọgbụgba ndụ nke m na-etinye nʼetiti mụ na unu, na nʼetiti ihe niile nwere ndụ so unu, ọgbụgba ndụ nke ga-adị nye ọgbọ niile na-abịa nʼihu.
And God sayd. This is the token of my bode which I make betwene me and yow ad betwene all lyvynge thyng that is with yow for ever:
13 Etinyela m eke na egwurugwu m na mbara eluigwe, ka ọ bụrụ ihe ama nke ọgbụgba ndụ dị nʼetiti mụ na ụwa.
I wyll sette my bowe in the cloudes and it shall be a sygne of the appoyntment made betwene me and the erth:
14 Mgbe ọbụla m zitere igwe ojii nʼụwa, ọ bụrụ na eke na egwurugwu apụta ìhè na mbara eluigwe,
So that when I brynge in cloudes vpo ye erth the bowe shall appere in ye cloudes.
15 aga m echeta ọgbụgba ndụ m mere ka ọ dịrị nʼetiti mụ na unu, na nʼetiti mụ na ihe niile nwere ndụ site nʼihe niile e kere eke. Ọ gaghị emekwa ọzọ na mmiri ga-aghọ uju mmiri ibibi ihe niile nwere ndụ.
And than wyll I thynke vppon my testament which I haue made betwene me and yow and all that lyveth what soeuer flesh it be. So that henceforth there shall be no more waters to make a floud to destroy all flesh.
16 Mgbe ọbụla eke na egwurugwu pụtara nʼigwe ojii, aga m ahụ ya cheta ọgbụgba ndụ ebighị ebi nke dị nʼetiti Chineke na ihe niile nwere ndụ site nʼihe niile e kere eke nọ nʼelu ụwa.”
The bowe shalbe in the cloudes and I wyll loke vpon it to remembre the euerlastynge testament betwene God and all that lyveth vppon the erth what soeuer flesh it be.
17 Chineke gwara Noa sị, “Nke a bụ ihe ama ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ m hiwere nʼetiti mụ na ihe niile nwere ndụ nʼụwa.”
And God sayd vnto Noe: This is the sygne of the testament which I have made betwene me and all flesh yt is on the erth.
18 Ụmụ ndị ikom Noa ndị si nʼụgbọ mmiri pụta bụ Shem, Ham na Jafet. (Ham bụ nna Kenan.)
The sonnes of Noe that came out of the arke were: Sem Ham and Iapheth. And Ham he is the father of Canaa.
19 Ndị a bụ ụmụ ndị ikom atọ Noa mụrụ. Ọ bụ site na ha ka ndị mmadụ niile gbasara nʼụwa niile si pụta.
These are the. iij. sonnes of Noe and of these was all the world overspred.
20 Noa, onye ọrụ ubi, bidoro ịkụ ubi vaịnị a gbara ogige.
And Noe beynge an husbad man went furth and planted a vyneyarde
21 Mgbe ọ ṅụrụ mmanya si nʼubi a, ṅụbiga ya oke, ọ gbaara ọtọ dinaa ala nʼime ụlọ ikwu ya.
and drancke of the wyne and was droncke and laye vncouered in the myddest of his tet.
22 Ham, nna Kenan, hụrụ ọtọ nna ya, gaa kọọrọ ụmụnne ya abụọ nọ nʼezi ihe ọ hụrụ.
And Ham the father of Canaan sawe his fathers prevytees and tolde his ij. brethren that were wythout.
23 Ma Shem na Jafet weere akwa tụkwasị nʼubu ha, were azụ jere ije ruo nʼebe nna ha nọ, hapụ akwa ahụ ka ọ dakwasị nna ha kpuchikwaa ọtọ ya. Ma ha chepuru ihu nʼebe ọzọ mgbe ha na-eme nke a, nʼihi ya, ha elekwasịghị ọtọ nna ha anya.
And Sem and Iapheth toke a mantell and put it on both there shulders ad went backward ad covered there fathers secrets but there faces were backward So that they sawe not there fathers nakydnes.
24 Mgbe Noa si nʼụra mmanya ya bilie, chọpụta ihe nwa ya nwoke nke nta mere,
As soone as Noe was awaked fro his wyne and wyst what his yongest sonne had done vnto hym
25 o kwuru sị, “Onye a bụrụ ọnụ ka Kenan bụ! Ohu ndị ohu, ka ọ ga-abụrụ ụmụnne ya.”
he sayd: cursed be Canaan ad a seruante, of all seruantes be he to his brethren.
26 Ọ sịkwara, “Ngọzị dịrị Onyenwe anyị Chineke Shem. Ka Kenan bụrụ ohu Shem.
And he sayd: Blessed be the LORde God of Se and Canaan be his seruante.
27 Ka Chineke mee ka ebe obibi Jafet saa mbara, ka Jafet biri nʼụlọ ikwu Shem, meekwa ka Kenan bụrụ ohu ya.”
God increase Iapheth that he may dwelle in the tentes of Sem. And Canaan be their seruante.
28 Mgbe uju mmiri ahụ gabigachara, Noa biri ndụ narị afọ atọ na iri afọ ise ọzọ.
And Noe lyved after the floude. iij. hundred and. l. yere:
29 Ọnụọgụgụ afọ Noa niile mgbe ọ nwụrụ, bụ narị afọ itoolu na iri afọ ise.
So that all the dayes of Noe were ix. hundred and. l. yere ad than he dyed.
