1 Okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị,
The LORD’s word came again to me, saying,
2 “Nwa nke mmadụ, gwa eze Taịa, ‘Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị sịrị: “‘Nʼihi nganga nke juru gị obi, ị na-ekwu sị, “Mụ onwe m bụ chi, mụ onwe m na-anọkwasị nʼocheeze nke otu chi, nke dị nʼetiti oke osimiri niile.” Ma gị onwe gị bụ mmadụ efu, ị bụghị chi, ọ bụ ezie na ị na-eche na ị mara ihe dịka chi.
“Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the middle of the seas;’ yet you are man, and no god, though you set your heart as the heart of a god—
3 Ị maara ihe karịa Daniel? Ọ bụ na o nweghị ihe e zoro ezo nʼebe ị nọ?
behold, you are wiser than Daniel. There is no secret that is hidden from you.
4 I werela amamihe gị na nghọta gị nwetara onwe gị akụ, tụkọba ọlaedo na ọlaọcha, nʼime ụlọakụ gị dị iche iche.
By your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasuries.
5 E, mmụta nʼịzụ ahịa gị emeela ka ị ghọọ ọgaranya, nʼihi akụnụba inwere ị bụrụla onye na-akpa nganga.
By your great wisdom and by your trading you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches—”
6 “‘Ya mere, nke a bụ ihe Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị na-ekwu; “‘ebe ọ bụ na ị gụrụ onwe gị dịka onye maara ihe onye maara ihe dịka chi,
“‘therefore the Lord GOD says: “Because you have set your heart as the heart of God,

therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations. They will draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom. They will defile your brightness.
8 Ha ga-eme ka ị rịdaruo nʼolulu nke ala mmụọ. Ị ga-anwụ ọnwụ ike nʼetiti oke osimiri niile.
They will bring you down to the pit. You will die the death of those who are slain in the heart of the seas.
9 Mgbe nke a mere, ị ga-asị, “Mụ onwe m bụ chi,” nʼihu ndị ahụ na-egbu gị? Ma gị onwe gị bụ mmadụ efu, ị bụghị chi, nʼaka ndị ahụ na-egbu gị.
Will you yet say before him who kills you, ‘I am God’? But you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you.
10 Ị ga-anwụ ọnwụ dịka ndị a na-ebighị ugwu, site nʼaka ndị ọbịa. Mụ onwe m ekwuola, otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.’”
You will die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it,” says the Lord GOD.’”
11 Okwu nke Onyenwe anyị rutere m ntị, sị,
Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
12 “Nwa nke mmadụ, bulie abụ akwa banyere eze Taịa ma gwa ya, ‘Ihe a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru, “‘Gị onwe gị bụ akara izuoke, ị jupụtara na amamihe na ịma mma.
“Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him, ‘The Lord GOD says: “You were the seal of full measure, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Ị nọ nʼIden, nʼubi Chineke a gbara ogige. A rụnyere nkume ndị a niile nʼime ọlaedo. Ọ bụkwa nʼụbọchị ahụ e kere gị ka e doziri ha.
You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, emerald, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and beryl. Gold work of tambourines and of pipes was in you. They were prepared in the day that you were created.
14 Ahọpụtara m gị mee gị ka ị bụrụ cherub, ọrụ ahụ e doro gị iche ịrụ. Ọ bụ nʼugwu nsọ Chineke ka ị na-anọ, na-ejegharịkwa nʼetiti nkume ndị ahụ na-acha ọkụ.
You were the anointed cherub who covers. Then I set you up on the holy mountain of God. You have walked up and down in the middle of the stones of fire.
15 Ị bụ onye na-enweghị ịta ụta nʼụzọ gị niile site nʼụbọchị e kere gị, tutu ruo mgbe a hụrụ ajọ omume nʼime gị.
You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.
16 Site nʼịba ụba nke ọzụzụ ahịa gị ị ghọrọ onye na-eme ihe ike, si otu a mehiekwa. Nʼihi ya, esi m nʼugwu Chineke chụpụ gị, nʼihi adịghị nsọ gị. Esitekwara m nʼetiti nkume ọkụ ndị ahụ chụpụ gị, gị cherub na-ekpuchi ekpuchi.
By the abundance of your commerce, your insides were filled with violence, and you have sinned. Therefore I have cast you as profane out of God’s mountain. I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the middle of the stones of fire.
17 Obi gị jupụtara na nganga nʼihi ịma mma gị, i mere ka amamihe gị bụrụ ihe rụrụ arụ nʼihi ebube nke ịma mma gị. Nʼihi ya, achụdara m gị, tụọ gị nʼala, mee ka ị bụrụ ihe nlere anya nye ndị eze niile.
Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. You have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendour. I have cast you to the ground. I have laid you before kings, that they may see you.
18 Nʼihi ọtụtụ mmehie gị, na ịzụ ahịa aghụghọ gị, i meela ka ụlọnsọ gị niile ghọọ ihe rụrụ arụ. Nʼihi ya, emere m ka ọkụ si nʼetiti gị pụta, repịa gị. Ka ị ghọọ ntụ nʼelu ala, nʼihu ndị ahụ niile na-ele gị anya.
By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your commerce, you have profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought out a fire from the middle of you. It has devoured you. I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you.
19 Ndị niile maara gị ka ihe ndị a juru anya, nʼihi na ị ghọọla ihe oke egwu. Ị laala nʼiyi ruo ebighị ebi.’”
All those who know you amongst the peoples will be astonished at you. You have become a terror, and you will exist no more.”’”
20 Okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị,
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
21 “Nwa nke mmadụ, chee ihu nʼebe Saịdọn dị buo amụma megide ya,
“Son of man, set your face towards Sidon, and prophesy against it,

For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets. The wounded will fall within her, with the sword on her on every side. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
24 “‘Ụlọ Izrel agaghị enwekwa mba kpọrọ ha asị gbara ha gburugburu ndị dịka uke, nke na-adụ adụ, na ogwu nke na-egbu mgbu. Ha ga-amatakwa na mụ onwe m bụ Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị.
“‘“There will no longer be a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are around them that scorned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord GOD.”
25 “‘Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Ndị Izrel ga-alọghachi biri nʼala nke aka ha ọzọ, ala nke m nyere nna ha Jekọb ohu m. Nʼihi na aga m esite na mba niile ha gbasasịrị chịkọtaa ha, si otu a gosi mba niile nke ụwa ịdị nsọ m.
“‘The Lord GOD says: “When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples amongst whom they are scattered, and am shown as holy amongst them in the sight of the nations, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob.
26 Ha ga-ebi nʼala a na ntụkwasị obi. Ha ga-ewu ụlọ, kụọ ubi vaịnị, birikwa na-atụghị egwu ọbụla. Mgbe m pịachara mba niile dị ha gburugburu ụtarị, bụ mba ndị ahụ mekpara ha ahụ, mgbe ahụ, ha ga-amata nʼezie na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke ha.’”
They will dwell in it securely. Yes, they will build houses, plant vineyards, and will dwell securely when I have executed judgements on all those around them who have treated them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God.”’”
