< Izikiel 23 >

1 Okwu nke Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị m,
The LORD’s word came again to me, saying,
2 “Nwa nke mmadụ, ọ dị ndị inyom abụọ nke otu nne mụrụ.
“Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother.
3 Ha ghọrọ ndị akwụna nʼala Ijipt site na mgbe ha bụ agbọghọ. Nʼala ahụ, a bịagidere ara ha aka, pịakwa ọnụ ara agbọghọ ha aka nʼọnọdụ igwuri egwu.
They played the prostitute in Egypt. They played the prostitute in their youth. Their breasts were fondled there, and their youthful nipples were caressed there.
4 Aha nke okenye bụ Ohola. Aha nwanne ya nwanyị bụ Oholiba. Ha bụrịị nkem, ha mụtakwara m ụmụ ndị nwoke na ndị nwanyị. Ohola bụ Sameria, Oholiba bụkwa Jerusalem.
Their names were Oholah the elder, and Oholibah her sister. They became mine, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem Oholibah.
5 “Ohola na-agba akwụna mgbe ọ ka bụ nkem. O nwere agụụ ịkwa iko nʼebe ndị niile ọ hụrụ nʼanya nọ, bụ ndị dike nʼagha nke ndị Asịrịa,
“Oholah played the prostitute when she was mine. She doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbors,
6 ndị yi uwe anụnụ, ndịisi ọchịchị na ndị ọchịagha, ha niile bụ ụmụ okorobịa mara mma nʼile anya, na ndịisi agha, ndị ikom na-amakwasị nʼelu ịnyịnya.
who were clothed with blue—governors and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding on horses.
She gave herself as a prostitute to them, all of them the choicest men of Assyria. She defiled herself with the idols of whomever she lusted after.
She hasn’t left her prostitution since leaving Egypt; for in her youth they lay with her. They caressed her youthful nipples and they poured out their prostitution on her.
9 “Nʼihi nke a enyefere m ya nʼaka ndị ahụ hụrụ ya nʼanya, bụ ndị Asịrịa, ndị agụụ ha na-agụ ya.
“Therefore I delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians on whom she doted.
These uncovered her nakedness. They took her sons and her daughters, and they killed her with the sword. She became a byword among women; for they executed judgments on her.
11 “Oholiba bụ nwanne ya nwanyị hụrụ ihe ndị a, ma nʼime agụụ ihe ọjọọ nke gụrụ ya nakwa ịgba akwụna, ọ kpara agwa jọrọ njọ karịa nke nwanne ya nwanyị.
“Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet she was more corrupt in her lusting than she, and in her prostitution which was more depraved than the prostitution of her sister.
12 Ya onwe ya kwa, agụụ ụmụ Asịrịa gụrụ ya, bụ ndịisi ọchịchị, na ndị ọchịagha, ndị dike nʼagha yi uwe agha dịka o kwesiri, ndị ikom na-amakwasị nʼelu ịnyịnya, ha niile bụ ụmụ okorobịa dị mma nʼile anya.
She lusted after the Assyrians, governors and rulers—her neighbors, clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding on horses, all of them desirable young men.
I saw that she was defiled. They both went the same way.
14 “O gara nʼihu tụkwasị ihe nʼịgba akwụna ya karịa. Ọ hụrụ onyinyo ndị ikom atụnyere nʼahụ aja, bụ onyinyo nke ndị Kaldịa e ji ihe chara uhie uhie sepụta,
“She increased her prostitution; for she saw men portrayed on the wall, the images of the Kasdim portrayed with red,
15 ha kere ihe okike nʼukwu ha nakwa akwa okike nʼisi ha; nʼile anya ha niile dịka ndịisi ụgbọ agha ndị Babilọn, Kaldịa bụ ala amụrụ ha.
dressed with belts on their waists, with flowing turbans on their heads, all of them looking like princes, after the likeness of the Babylonians in Kasdim, the land of their birth.
As soon as she saw them, she lusted after them and sent messengers to them into Kasdimah.
The Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their prostitution. She was polluted with them, and her soul was alienated from them.
18 Mgbe ọ gara nʼihu na-akwa iko nʼezoghị ezo na-ekpughekwa ọtọ ya, elepụrụ m ya anya nʼihi ịsọ oyi, dịka m mere lepụkwara anya site nʼebe nwanne ya nwanyị nọ.
So she uncovered her prostitution and uncovered her nakedness. Then my soul was alienated from her, just like my soul was alienated from her sister.
19 Ma ọ gara nʼihu na-akwa iko karịa, dịka ọ na-echeta ndụ akwụna o biri nʼIjipt mgbe ọ bụ agbọghọ.
Yet she multiplied her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth, in which she had played the prostitute in the land of Egypt.
She lusted after their lovers, whose flesh is as the flesh of donkeys, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.
21 Ya bụ, na-agụụ ndụ ọjọọ nke i biri mgbe ị bụ agbọghọ na-agụsị gị ike, mgbe ị nọ nʼIjipt ebe a na-abịagide gị aka nʼara, ebe apịkwara ọnụ ara nta gị aka.
Thus you called to memory the lewdness of your youth, in the caressing of your nipples by the Egyptians because of your youthful breasts.
22 “Nʼihi nke a, gị Oholiba, nke a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Aga m akpali ndị ahụ hụrụ gị nʼanya megide gị, bụ ndị ahụ ihe ha na-amasịkwaghị gị ọzọ. Aga m esi nʼakụkụ niile kpọta ha, megide gị.
“Therefore, Oholibah, the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I will raise up your lovers against you, from whom your soul is alienated, and I will bring them against you on every side:
23 Ndị Babilọn, ndị Kaldịa niile, ndị ikom Pekod, ndị Shoa, na ndị Koa, na ndị Asịrịa niile ha na ha soo. Ụmụ okorobịa niile dị mma ile anya, ha niile bụ ndị na-achị achị na ndị ọchịagha, ndịisi na-agba ịnyịnya, na ndị ikom ọkwa ha dị elu, ha niile ga-anọkwasị nʼelu ịnyịnya.
the Babylonians and all the Kasdim, Pekod, Shoa, Koa, and all the Assyrians with them; all of them desirable young men, governors and rulers, princes and men of renown, all of them riding on horses.
They will come against you with weapons, chariots, and wagons, and with a company of peoples. They will set themselves against you with buckler, shield, and helmet all around. I will commit the judgment to them, and they will judge you according to their judgments.
25 Aga m edo ekworo nke iwe m megide gị, ha ga-eji iwe na ọnụma mesie gị ike. Ha ga-ebipụ imi unu na ntị unu, ndị fọdụkwara nʼime unu ga-anwụ site na mma agha. Ha ga-achịkọrọ ụmụ unu ndị ikom na ndị inyom pụọ, unu ndị nke fọdụrụ ka ọkụ ga-erepịa.
I will set my jealousy against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will take away your nose and your ears. Your remnant will fall by the sword. They will take your sons and your daughters; and the rest of you will be devoured by the fire.
26 Ha ga-eyipụ gị uwe ọma gị niile, chikọrọ ihe ịchọ mma gị niile.
They will also strip you of your clothes and take away your beautiful jewels.
27 Nʼụzọ dị otu a, a ga-eme ka agụ ọchịchọ ọjọọ nke anụahụ na ịkwa iko, bụ nke i bidoro nʼala Ijipt kwụsị. Ị gaghị enwekwa agụụ ile ihe ndị a niile anya maọbụ chetakwa Ijipt nʼuche gị.
Thus I will make your lewdness to cease from you, and remove your prostitution from the land of Egypt, so that you will not lift up your eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.’
28 “Nʼihi na otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Lee, ana m aga iwere gị nyefee nʼaka ndị ahụ kpọrọ gị asị, bụ ndị ahụ ị wezugara onwe gị site nʼebe ha nọ nʼihi ịsọ oyi.
“For the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I will deliver you into the hand of them whom you hate, into the hand of them from whom your soul is alienated.
29 Ha ga-esite nʼịkpọ asị mesie gị ike, pụnara gị ihe niile i nwere nke ị dọgburu onwe gị nʼọrụ nʼihi ha. Ha ga-ahapụ gị ka ịgbara ọtọ ihu na azụ, mgbe ahụ ihere nke ịgba akwụna gị ga-apụta ihe. Agụụ nke ọchịchọ ọjọọ na ịkwa iko gị
They will deal with you in hatred, and will take away all your labor, and will leave you naked and bare. The nakedness of your prostitution will be uncovered, both your lewdness and your prostitution.
30 emeela ka ihe ndị a bịakwasị gị, nʼihi na agụụ mmekọrịta nʼebe mba ndị ọzọ gụrụ gị, ị jikwa arụsị ha merụọ onwe gị.
These things will be done to you because you have played the prostitute after the nations, and because you are polluted with their idols.
31 Ị gbasoro nzọ ụkwụ nwanne gị nwanyị, nʼihi ya, aga m ewere iko ya tinye gị nʼaka.
You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore I will give her cup into your hand.’
32 “Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: “Iko nwanne gị nwanyị ka ị ga-aṅụ bụ iko sara mbara ma dịkwa omimi; nke ga-eme ka ị ghọọ onye a na-achị ọchị na onye a na-akwa emo, nʼihi na ọ na-anagide ihe dị ukwuu.
“The Lord GOD says: ‘You will drink of your sister’s cup, which is deep and large. You will be ridiculed and held in derision. It contains much.
33 Ị ga-ejupụta nʼịṅụbiga mmanya oke na iru ụjụ, nʼihi iko mbibi na ntikpọsi, bụ iko nke nwanne gị nwanyị bụ Sameria.
You will be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of your sister Samaria.
34 Ị ga-aṅụ ya, ṅụchaa ihe dị nʼiko ahụ. Ị ga-atapịakwa iberibe ya niile, dọkasịakwa ara gị abụọ. Ekwuola m. Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
You will even drink it and drain it out. You will gnaw the broken pieces of it, and will tear your breasts; for I have spoken it,’ says the Lord GOD.
35 “Nʼihi ya, ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Ebe ọ bụ na i chefuola m, gbakụta m azụ gị, ị ga-ata ahụhụ niile ruuru gị nʼihi mmehie, agụụ ọchịchọ ọjọọ na ịgba akwụna gị.”
“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have forgotten me and cast me behind your back, therefore you also bear your lewdness and your prostitution.’”
36 Onyenwe anyị sịrị m, “Nwa nke mmadụ, ị ga-ekpe Ohola na Oholiba ikpe? Mgbe ahụ, guzogide ha mee ka ha mara ihe arụ niile ha na-eme.
The LORD said moreover to me: “Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then declare to them their abominations.
37 Nʼihi na ha akwaala iko, ọbara jupụtakwara nʼaka ha, ha na arụsị ha kwakwara iko. Ha jikwa ọ bụladị ụmụ nke ha mụtaara m chụọ aja nsure ọkụ nye ha.
For they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands. They have committed adultery with their idols. They have also caused their sons, whom they bore to me, to pass through the fire to them to be devoured.
38 Ihe ọzọ ha mere m bụ nke a: Ha merụrụ ebe nsọ m nʼotu ụbọchị ahụ ha mere ka ụbọchị izuike m gharakwa ịdị nsọ.
Moreover this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my Sabbaths.
For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and behold, they have done this in the middle of my house.
40 “Ọ bụghị naanị nke a, ha zigara ndị ozi ịkpọ ndị ikom na-esi ebe dị anya bịa, mgbe ha bịara, nʼihi ha, ị sachara ahụ gị nke ọma, tee ihe nʼanya gị, yirikwa ezigbo ihe ịchọ mma gị.
“Furthermore you sisters have sent for men who come from far away, to whom a messenger was sent, and behold, they came; for whom you washed yourself, painted your eyes, decorated yourself with ornaments,
41 Ị nọdụrụ nʼelu ihe ndina e doziri nke ọma, na tebul e doro nʼusoro dịkwa nʼihu ya nke ị dọbara ihe nsure ọkụ na-esi isi ụtọ na mmanụ oliv bụ nke m nʼelu ya.
and sat on a stately bed, with a table prepared before it, whereupon you set my incense and my oil.
42 “Olu igwe mmadụ ndị obi dị ụtọ na-ada gburugburu ya nʼime ụlọ, e sitekwara nʼọzara bubata ndị ṅụbigara mmanya oke, ha na ọtụtụ ndị ọzọ, Ha gbanyekwara nwanyị a na nwanne ya nwanyị mgbaaka na nkwoji aka ha, yinyekwa ha okpueze mara mma nʼisi.
“The voice of a multitude being at ease was with her. With men of the common sort were brought drunkards from the wilderness; and they put bracelets on their hands, and beautiful crowns on their heads.
43 Mgbe ahụ, ihe m kwuru banyere nwanyị ahụ ịkwa iko riri ahụ bụ nke a, ‘Ugbu a, ka ha mesoo ya mmeso dịka onye na-agba akwụna, nʼihi na nke ahụ ka ọ bụ.’
Then I said of her who was old in adulteries, ‘Now they will play the prostitute with her, and she with them.’
44 Ha bara dinakwuru ya. Dịka ndị ikom si abakwuru nwanyị akwụna, otu a ka ha si bakwuru ụmụ nwanyị ndụ ọjọọ a bụ Ohola na Oholiba.
They went in to her, as they go in to a prostitute. So they went in to Oholah and to Oholibah, the lewd women.
45 Ma ndị ikpe ezi omume ga-ama ha ụdị ikpe a na-ama ndị inyom na-akwa iko na ndị na-awụsikwa ọbara. Nʼihi na ha bụ ndị na-akwa iko, na ndị ọbara dị nʼaka ha.
Righteous men will judge them with the judgment of adulteresses and with the judgment of women who shed blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.
46 “Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị sịrị, aga m akpọkọta igwe ndị mmadụ ga-emegide ha, nyefee ha nʼaka oke ihe egwu, nakwa ihe nlụta nʼagha.
“For the Lord GOD says: ‘I will bring up a mob against them, and will give them to be tossed back and forth and robbed.
47 Mkpọkọta mmadụ ahụ ga-atụ ha nkume, werekwa mma agha gbudasịa ha. Ha ga-egbu ụmụ ha ndị ikom na ụmụ ha ndị inyom, kpọkwaa ụlọ ha niile ọkụ.
The company will stone them with stones and dispatch them with their swords. They will kill their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.
48 “Otu a, aga m eme ka ibi ndụ ọjọọ kwụsị nʼala ahụ, ka esi otu a adọ ndị inyom niile aka na ntị, ka ha hapụ ịgbaso nzọ ụkwụ gị.
“‘Thus I will cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to be lewd like you.
49 Ị ghaghị ịta ahụhụ nʼihi ndụ ọjọọ nke ịkwa iko gị, hụkwaa ahụhụ nʼihi mmehie niile nke ịkpọ isiala nye arụsị. Mgbe ahụ ị ga-amata na mụ onwe m bụ Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị.”
They will recompense your lewdness on you, and you will bear the sins of your idols. Then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.’”
