< Izikiel 22 >

1 Okwu nke Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
2 “Ma gị onwe gị, Nwa nke mmadụ, ị ga-ekpe ya ikpe? Ị ga-ekpe obodo ọbara a ikpe? Mgbe ahụ, ị ga-eguzogide ya ihu nʼihu mee ka ọ mara ihe arụ niile o mere.
“And you, son of man, should you not judge, should you not judge the city of blood?
3 ‘Ị ga-asị, Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị na-ekwu: Gị obodo nke na-ewetara onwe gị mbibi nʼihi ọbara niile a na-awụsi nʼetiti gị, na arụsị niile i ji na-emerụ onwe gị.
And you shall reveal to her all her abominations. And you shall say: Thus says the Lord God: This is the city which sheds blood in her midst, so that her time may come, and which has made idols against herself, so that she may be defiled.
I jirila aka gị mee ka ọgwụgwụ gị dị nso, leekwa na ọgwụgwụ gị dị nso, leekwa na ọgwụgwụ gị abịala nʼezie. Nʼihi ya, aga m eme gị ka ị bụrụ ihe nkọcha nye mba niile, na ihe ịkwa emo nye mba dị iche iche.
You have offended by your blood, which you shed from yourself. And you have been defiled by your idols which you yourself made. And you have caused your days to approach, and you have brought on the time of your years. Because of this, I have made you a disgrace to the Gentiles, and a derision to all the lands.
5 Ndị nọ gị nso na ndị nọ gị ebe dị anya ga-achị gị ọchị, gị obodo rụrụ arụ, na nke jupụtara nʼọgbaaghara.
Those that are near and those that are far from you will triumph over you. You are filthy, infamous, great in destruction.
Behold, the leaders of Israel have each used his arm to shed blood within you.
7 A na-elelị nne na nna nʼime gị.
They have abused father and mother within you. The new arrival has been oppressed in your midst. They have grieved the orphan and the widow among you.
8 I lelịala ihe nsọ m niile, merụọkwa ụbọchị izuike m niile.
You have spurned my sanctuaries, and you have defiled my Sabbaths.
9 Ndị nkwutọ, ndị na-awụsi ọbara nọ nʼime gị. Ndị na-eri nri nʼihu arụsị niile dị nʼelu ugwu, na ndị na-eme omume rụrụ arụ nọkwa nʼime gị.
Maligning men were within you, in order to shed blood, and they have eaten upon the mountains within you. They have worked wickedness in your midst.
10 Nʼime gị ka ndị na-akwaso nwunye nna ha iko dị, nʼime gị ka ndị na-awakpo ụmụ nwanyị mgbe ha nọ na nsọ ha, bụ mgbe ha nọ nʼọnọdụ adịghị ọcha.
They have uncovered the nakedness of their father within you. They have debased the uncleanness of the menstruous woman within you.
And each one has committed abomination with the wife of his neighbor. And the father-in-law has heinously defiled his daughter-in-law. The brother has oppressed his sister, the daughter of his father, within you.
12 E nwekwara ndị na-anara ego gbuo mmadụ ibe ha nʼime gị. Gị onwe gị na-anarakwa ndị i binyere ego ụma buru ibu, na-esitekwa nʼaka ike na-anara ndị mmadụ ihe ha. I chefuokwala m. Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
They have accepted bribes among you to shed blood. You have received usury and superabundance, and in avarice you have oppressed your neighbors. And you have forgotten me, says the Lord God.
13 “‘Lee, aghaghị m ịkụkọta ọbụ aka m abụọ nʼihi uru nke na-ezighị ezi ị na-eri, na ọbara niile nke ị wụsiri nʼetiti gị.
Behold, I have clapped my hands over your avarice, which you have worked, and over the blood that has been shed in your midst.
14 Obi gị ọ ga-esikwa ike? Ị ga-eguzokwa nʼụbọchị m ga-ekpe gị ikpe? Nʼihi na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị ekwuola. Aga m emezukwa ya.
How can your heart endure, or your hands prevail, in the days that I will bring upon you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will act.
And I will disperse you among the nations, and I will scatter you among the lands, and I will cause your uncleanness to fade away from you.
16 Mgbe e mere ka ị ghara ịdị nsọ nʼanya ndị mba dị iche iche, ị ga-amatakwa na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị.’”
And I will possess you in the sight of the Gentiles. And you shall know that I am the Lord.”
17 Mgbe ahụ, okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị,
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
18 “Nwa nke mmadụ, ụlọ Izrel aghọọlara m ihe efu. Ha niile aghọọla ọla, na gbamgbam, na igwe, na ọla opu a hapụrụ nʼọkụ. Ha bụ nnọọ ihe efu nke ọlaọcha.
“Son of man, the house of Israel has become like dross to me. All these are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead in the midst of the furnace; they have become like the dross of silver.
19 Nʼihi ya, otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: ‘Nʼihi na unu niile aghọọla ihe efu, aga m achịkọta unu nʼime Jerusalem.
Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Since you have all turned into dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you together in the midst of Jerusalem,
20 Dịka a na-achịkọta ọlaọcha, na ọla, na igwe, na opu, na gbamgbam, tinye ha nʼoke ọkụ ka ha gbazee, otu a ka m ga-esite nʼiwe m na ọnụma m chịkọtaa unu nʼime obodo ahụ gbazee unu.
just as they gather silver, and brass, and tin, and iron, and lead in the midst of the furnace, so that I may kindle in it a fire to melt it. So will I gather you together in my fury and in my wrath, and I will be quieted, and I will melt you down.
21 Aga m achịkọta unu, fụkwasị unu ọkụ nke ọnụma m, mee ka unu gbazee nʼime ya.
And I will gather you together, and I will burn you in the fire of my fury, and you will be melted in its midst.
22 Dịka ọlaọcha si agbaze nʼọkụ, otu a ka unu ga-esi gbazee nʼime ya. Unu ga-amatakwa nʼezie na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị awụkwasịla unu iwe m.’”
Just as silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so will you be in its midst. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I will have poured out my indignation upon you.”
23 Ọzọkwa, okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị,
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
24 “Nwa nke mmadụ, gwa ala ahụ okwu, ‘Ị bụ ala nke a na-emebeghị ka ọ dị ọcha, maọbụ mmiri izokwasị ya nʼụbọchị ọnụma.’
“Son of man, say to her: You are a land unclean and not rained upon, in the day of fury.
There is a conspiracy of prophets in her midst. Like a lion, roaring and seizing the prey, they have devoured souls. They have taken riches and a price. They have multiplied widows in her midst.
26 Ndị nchụaja ya na-enupu isi nʼiwu m niile, mee ka ihe nsọ m niile gharakwa ịdị nsọ, nʼebe nsọ m. Ha adịghị akpakwa oke nʼetiti ihe dị nsọ na ihe na-adịghị nsọ. Ha na-ezi ndị m na ihe dị iche ọbụla adịghị nʼetiti ihe dị ọcha na ihe na-adịghị ọcha. Ha adịghị akpọkwa ụbọchị izuike m ihe ọbụla. Nʼihi ya, e mere ka m ghara ịdịkwa nsọ nʼetiti ha.
Her priests have despised my law, and they have defiled my sanctuaries. They have held no distinction between holy and profane. And they have not understood the difference between defiled and clean. And they have averted their eyes from my Sabbaths. And I was profaned in their midst.
27 Ndịisi nọ nʼime gị dịka nkịta ọhịa na-adọgbu anụ o gbutara. Ha na-awụsi ọbara, ime ka mkpụrụobi mmadụ laa nʼiyi nʼihi uru akpa ha.
Her leaders in her midst are like wolves seizing the prey: to shed blood, and to perish souls, and to continually pursue profit with avarice.
28 Ndị amụma ha eteela nzu nʼọrụ ha niile site nʼọhụ ụgha nʼịgba afa ụgha mgbe ha na-ahụghị ọhụ ọbụla. Ha na-asị, ‘Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị sịrị,’ mgbe Onyenwe anyị na-ekwughị ihe ọbụla.
And her prophets have covered them without tempering the mortar, seeing emptiness, and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken.
29 Ndị ala a na-eji aka ike na-apụnara ndị ọzọ ihe ha nwere na-ezukwa ohi. Ha na-emegbu ndị ogbenye na ndị nọ na mkpa, na-emegbukwa ndị ọbịa site nʼụzọ ekpeghị ikpe ziri ezi.
The people of the land have oppressed with slander and have seized with violence. They have afflicted the needy and the poor, and they have oppressed the new arrival by accusations without judgment.
30 “Achọrọ m otu onye nʼetiti ha bụ onye nke ga-ewuzi mgbidi ogige, guzokwa nʼihu m ikwuchite ọnụ ala a, ka m ghara ịla ala a nʼiyi, ma ọ dịghị onye m hụrụ.
And I sought among them for a man who might set up a hedge, and stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land, so that I might not destroy it; and I found no one.
And so I poured out my indignation upon them; in the fire of my wrath I consumed them. I have rendered their own way upon their head, says the Lord God.”
