Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey.
4 Nụrụ gị Izrel, Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke anyị, Onyenwe anyị bụ otu.

And you shall write them on the posts of your house, and on your gates.

And when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God has commanded you?
21 Ị ga-aza ya sị, “Anyị bụrị ndị ohu Fero nʼala Ijipt, ma site nʼike ya dị ukwuu, Onyenwe anyị kpọpụtara anyị site nʼala Ijipt.
Then you shall say to your son, We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:

And he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he swore to our fathers.
24 Nʼihi ya ka Onyenwe anyị ji nye anyị iwu ka anyị debe ụkpụrụ ndị a niile, na-atụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị egwu, ka anyị bụrụ ndị ihe ga-agara nke ọma ụbọchị niile, ndị a na-edebe ndụ, dịka ọ dị taa.
And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
25 Ọ bụrụ na anyị elezie anya debe iwu ndị a niile Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị nyere anyị, dịka o nyere anyị nʼiwu, anyị ga-abụ ndị na-ejegharị nʼezi omume.”
And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us.
