1 Mgbe ahụ, Mosis sitere na mbara ala Moab rigoruo nʼelu nʼugwu Nebo, ruo nʼelu Pisga, nke dị na ncherita ihu Jeriko. Nʼebe ahụ Onyenwe anyị mere ka ọ hụ ala ahụ niile anya site na Gilead ruo Dan;
And Moses went up from Araboth Moab to the mount of Nabau, to the top of Phasga, which is before Jericho; and the Lord showed him all the mount of Galaad to Dan, and all the land of Nephthali,
2 ya na ala Naftalị niile nʼoke ala Ifrem, na nke Manase, na ala Juda niile ruo nʼosimiri Mediterenịa.
and all the land of Ephraim and Manasse, and all the land of Juda to the farthest sea;
3 Mosis hụkwara ala Negev, na akụkụ ala ahụ niile dị site na Ndagwurugwu Jeriko, obodo nkwụ, ruo Zoa.
and the wilderness, and the country round about Jericho, the city of palm-trees, to Segor.
4 Mgbe ahụ, Onyenwe anyị gwara Mosis sị ya, “Nke a bụ ala ahụ m sitere nʼịṅụ iyi kwee Ebraham, Aịzik na Jekọb nkwa mgbe m kwuru sị, ‘Aga m enye ya ụmụ ụmụ gị.’ Ugbu a emeela m ka i jiri anya gị hụ ya ma ị gaghị agabiga banye nʼime ya.”
And the Lord said to Moses, This [is] the land of which I sware to Abraam, and Isaac, and Jacob, saying, To your seed will I give it: and I have showed it to your eyes, but you shall not go in there.
5 Ya mere, Mosis, onyeozi Onyenwe anyị nwụrụ nʼebe ahụ, nʼala Moab, dịka Onyenwe anyị kwuru.
So Moses the servant of the Lord died in the land of Moab by the word of the Lord.
6 Onyenwe anyị liri ya na Moab, na ndagwurugwu chere ihu na Bet-Peoa, ma ruo taa, ọ dịghị onye ọbụla maara ebe ili ya dị.
And they buried him in Gai near the house of Phogor; and no one has seen his sepulchre to this day.
7 Mosis gbara narị afọ na iri afọ abụọ mgbe ọ nwụrụ, ma nʼoge ahụ ike ka dị ya nʼahụ, anya ya na-ahụkwa ụzọ nke ọma.
And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old at his death; his eyes were not dimmed, nor were his natural powers destroyed.
8 Ụmụ Izrel ruru ụjụ nʼihi Mosis, iri ụbọchị atọ nʼobosara ala Moab, tutu ruo mgbe oge iru ụjụ na ịkwa akwa gasịrị.
And the children of Israel wept for Moses in Araboth of Moab at Jordan near Jericho thirty days; and the days of the sad mourning for Moses were completed.
9 Joshua nwa Nun, jupụtara na mmụọ amamihe, nʼihi na Mosis ebikwasịla ya aka nʼisi. Ya mere, ụmụ Izrel ṅara Joshua ntị, gbasookwa iwu niile Onyenwe anyị nyere ha site nʼọnụ Mosis.
And Joshua the son of Naue was filled with the spirit of knowledge, for Moses had laid his hands upon him; and the children of Israel listened to him; and they did as the Lord commanded Moses.
10 Ọ dịbeghị onye amụma ọzọ pụtarala nʼala Izrel niile, nke dịka Mosis, onye ya na Onyenwe anyị kparịtara ụka ihu na ihu,
And there rose up no more a prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 onye mere ihe ịrịbama ndị a niile, rụọkwa ọrụ ebube niile nke Onyenwe anyị ziri ya ka o mee nʼIjipt, nʼihu Fero, na ndị ozi ya niile, nakwa nʼala ahụ niile.
in all the signs and wonders, which the Lord sent him to work in Egypt on Pharao, and his servants, and all his land;
12 Nʼihi na o nwebekwaghị onye ọzọ gosirila ike dị oke egwu, maọbụ rụọ ọrụ dị oke egwu ụdị nke Mosis rụrụ nʼihu ndị Izrel niile.
the great wonders, and the mighty hand which Moses displayed before all Israel.
