< Diuteronomi 12 >
1 Ndị a bụ iwu na ụkpụrụ niile unu na-aghaghị idebe ogologo ụbọchị niile unu ga-ebi nʼala ahụ, Onyenwe anyị Chineke nna unu ha nyere unu, dịka ihe nweta.
These are the laws and the decisions which you are to keep with care in the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you to be your heritage all the days of your life on earth.
2 Tikpọọnụ ebe niile nke dị nʼelu ugwu niile dị elu na nʼelu ugwu niile dị nta, nakwa nʼokpuru osisi mgbasa ọbụla, bụ ebe mba niile unu na-anapụ ala ha fere chi niile ha ofufe.
You are to give up to the curse all those places where the nations, whom you are driving out, gave worship to their gods, on the high mountains and the hills and under every green tree:
3 Kwatuokwanụ ebe ịchụ aja ha niile, tijisie ogidi nsọ ha niile, kpọọkwa osisi Ashera ha ọkụ, gbutukwaanụ arụsị niile a apịrị apị nke chi niile ha. Kpochapụkwanụ aha ha niile site nʼebe niile ahụ.
Their altars and their pillars are to be broken down, and their holy trees burned with fire, and the images of their gods cut down; you are to take away their names out of that place.
4 Unu agaghị efe Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu ofufe dịka ndị ahụ na-efe arụsị na-eme.
Do not so to the Lord your God.
5 Kama unu chọpụta ebe ahụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu ga-ahọpụta, site nʼetiti ebo Izrel niile, ebe ọ ga-akpọkwasị aha ya. Nʼebe ahụ ka unu ga-abịakwute ya.
But let your hearts be turned to the place which will be marked out by the Lord your God, among your tribes, to put his name there;
6 Ọ bụkwa nʼebe ahụ ka unu ga-ewetara Onyenwe anyị aja nsure ọkụ unu, na aja ndị ọzọ niile, na otu ụzọ nʼụzọ iri unu, na onyinye pụrụ iche unu, bụ onyinye unu kwere nkwa inye, na onyinye afọ ofufu unu, na onyinye ụmụ mbụ igwe ehi, na igwe ewu na atụrụ unu.
And there you are to take your burned offerings and other offerings, and the tenth part of your goods, and the offerings to be lifted up to the Lord, and the offerings of your oaths, and those which you give freely from the impulse of your hearts, and the first births among your herds and your flocks;
7 Unu na ezinaụlọ unu ga-anọkwa nʼebe ahụ, nʼihu Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu, rie oriri unu. Nʼihu ya kwa ka unu ga-aṅụrịkwa ọṅụ, nʼihi ihe niile ahụ unu setịpụrụ aka unu ime, na nʼihi ngọzị Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu gọziri unu.
There you and all your families are to make a feast before the Lord your God, with joy in everything to which you put your hand, because the Lord has given you his blessing.
8 Unu agaghị emekwa ihe masịrị unu, dịka unu si eme taa, nʼihi na onye ọbụla na-eme ihe ọbụla o chere na o ziri ezi nʼanya ya,
You are not to do things then in the way in which we now do them here, every man as it seems right to him:
9 nʼihi na iwu ndị a ebidobeghị ịdị ire, ebe ọ bụ na unu abanyebeghị nʼebe izuike ahụ, na ihe nketa ahụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu na-enye unu.
For you have not come to the rest and the heritage which the Lord your God is giving you.
10 Kama, mgbe unu gafere osimiri Jọdan, birikwa nʼala ahụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu na-enye unu dịka ihe nketa, mgbe Onyenwe anyị nyere unu izuike, meekwa ka unu nwere onwe unu site nʼebe ndị iro unu nọ.
But when you have gone over Jordan and are living in the land which the Lord your God is giving you as your heritage, and when he has given you rest from all those on every side who are fighting against you, and you are living there safely;
11 Mgbe ahụ, unu ga-eweta ihe ndị ahụ niile m nyere unu nʼiwu: aja nsure ọkụ unu niile, na aja ndị ọzọ, na onyinye ahụ pụrụ iche unu kwere nkwa inye, unu ga-eweta ya nʼebe ahụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu họpụtara ebe o kpọkwasịrị aha ya.
Then there will be a place marked out by the Lord your God as the resting-place for his name, and there you will take all the things which I give you orders to take: your burned offerings and other offerings, and the tenth part of your goods, and the offerings to be lifted up, and the offerings of your oaths which you make to the Lord;
12 Unu na ụmụ unu ndị ikom, na ụmụ unu ndị inyom, na ndị odibo nwoke na nwanyị niile unu, na ndị Livayị bi nʼobodo unu, ndị na-enweghị ihe nketa nke aka ha, ga-anọ nʼebe ahụ ṅụrịa ọṅụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu.
And you will be glad before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, and your men-servants and your women-servants, and the Levite who is with you in your house, because he has no part or heritage among you.
13 Ị gaghị achụ aja nsure ọkụ gị nʼebe ọbụla masịrị gị,
Take care that you do not make your burned offerings in any place you see:
14 ọ bụ naanị nʼebe ahụ Onyenwe anyị ga-ahọpụta. Ọ ga-ahọpụta otu ebe, nʼala otu ebo. Ọ bụ naanị nʼebe ahụ ka ị ga-esure aja unu niile, ọ bụkwa nʼebe ahụ ka ị ga-eweta onyinye gị niile.
But in the place marked out by the Lord in one of your tribes, there let your burned offerings be offered, and there do what I have given you orders to do.
15 Otu ọ dị, ị pụrụ ịnọ nʼebe ọbụla gbuo anụ ị ga-eri, dịka ọ bụ ele maọbụ mgbada ugbu a. Rie anụ mgbe ọbụla ọ gụrụ gị agụụ, na-erikwa ya mgbe ọbụla i nwetara ya, dịka ngọzị Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu na-enye unu. Ma onye dị ọcha, ma onye na-adịghị ọcha nwere ike iso rie ya.
Only you may put to death animals, such as the gazelle or the roe, for your food in any of your towns, at the desire of your soul, in keeping with the blessing of the Lord your God which he has given you: the unclean and the clean may take of it.
16 Naanị iwu dị nʼiri anụ ndị a bụ na ị gaghị eri ọbara ya, wụsa ọbara ya nʼala, dịka mmiri.
But you may not take the blood for food, it is to be drained out on the earth like water.
17 Ma o nweghị onyinye ọbụla a na-enye Onyenwe anyị i kwesiri ịnọ nʼụlọ gị rie. I kwesighị ịnọ nʼụlọ gị rie onyinye ndị a: onyinye otu ụzọ nʼụzọ iri nke ọka na mmanya ọhụrụ gị, na nke mmanụ oliv, na ụmụ mbụ nke igwe ehi na igwe ewu na atụrụ gị, na ihe ọbụla i kwere na nkwa, na onyinye afọ ofufu gị, na onyinye ndị ọzọ pụrụ iche.
In your towns you are not to take as food the tenth part of your grain, or of your wine or your oil, or the first births of your herds or of your flocks, or anything offered under an oath, or freely offered to the Lord, or given as a lifted offering;
18 Kama unu ga-eri ha nʼihu Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke unu, nʼebe ahụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu ga-ahọpụta, gị onwe gị, na ụmụ gị ndị nwoke na ụmụ gị ndị nwanyị, na ndị odibo nwoke na nwanyị niile unu, na ndị Livayị si nʼobodo unu niile, unu ga-aṅụrịkwa ọṅụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke unu, nʼihe niile aka gị rụpụtara.
But they will be your food before the Lord your God in the place of his selection, where you may make a feast of them, with your son and your daughter, and your man-servant and your woman-servant, and the Levite who is living with you: and you will have joy before the Lord your God in everything to which you put your hand.
19 Echefukwala ndị Livayị, gị na ha ga na-enwekọ ihe ndị a niile, ogologo ụbọchị niile i biri nʼala ahụ.
See that you do not give up caring for the Levite as long as you are living in your land.
20 Mgbe Onyenwe anyị, bụ Chineke gị mere ka oke ala gị saa mbara, dịka o kwere gị na nkwa, i nwee oke agụụ maka iri anụ na-asị, “Achọrọ m iri anụ,” mgbe ahụ, i nwere ike rie anụ dịka i si chọọ.
When the Lord your God makes wide the limit of your land, as he has said, and you say, I will take flesh for my food, because you have a desire for it; then you may take whatever flesh you have a desire for.
21 Ọ bụrụ nʼebe ahụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị kpọkwasịrị aha ya dị gị anya site nʼebe i nọ, i nwere ike gbuo anụ ụlọ site nʼigwe ehi maọbụ ewu na atụrụ nke Onyenwe anyị nyere gị, dịka m si nye gị nʼiwu. Gbuo ha nʼobodo ebe i bi, riekwa ha otu ị chọrọ.
If the place marked out by the Lord your God as the resting-place for his name is far away from you, then take from your herds and from your flocks which the Lord has given you, as I have said, and have a meal of it in the towns where you may be living.
22 Rie ha dịka ị ga-esi rie ele maọbụ mgbada. Onye ọbụla nʼime unu nwere ike rie ya, ma onye dị ọcha ma onye na-adịghị ọcha.
It will be your food, like the gazelle and the roe; the unclean and the clean may take of it.
23 Ma lezie anya hụ na i righị ọbara, nʼihi na ndụ dị nʼọbara. Ị gaghị erikọta anụ ọbụla na ndụ ya.
But see that you do not take the blood for food; for the blood is the life; and you may not make use of the life as food with the flesh.
24 Erila ọbara, wụsa ya nʼala dịka mmiri.
Do not take it for food but let it be drained out on the earth like water.
25 Erila ya, ka ihe si otu a gaara gị na ụmụ ụmụ gị nke ọma, nʼihi na ị na-eme ihe ziri ezi nʼanya Onyenwe anyị.
Do not take it for food; so that it may be well for you and for your children after you, while you do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.
26 Ma were ihe ndị ahụ niile i doro nsọ, ya na ihe ọbụla i kwere Onyenwe anyị na nkwa gaa nʼebe ahụ Onyenwe anyị ga-ahọpụta.
But the holy things which you have, and the offerings of your oaths, you are to take to the place which will be marked out by the Lord:
27 Chụọ aja nsure ọkụ nʼelu ebe ịchụ aja Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị, ma anụ na ọbara. A ghaghị ịwụsa ọbara anụ ahụ e ji chụọ aja nʼakụkụ ebe nchụaja nke Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị. Ma i nwere ike rie anụ ahụ e ji chụọ aja.
Offering the flesh and the blood of your burned offerings on the altar of the Lord your God; and the blood of your offerings is to be drained out on the altar of the Lord your God, and the flesh will be your food.
28 Lezie anya, debe iwu ndị a niile m na-enye gị. Ọ bụrụ na i mee ya, ihe ga-agara gị na ụmụ gị nke ọma, nʼihi na ọ bụ ihe dị mma nʼanya Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị, na ihe ziri ezi ka ị ga na-eme.
Take note of all these orders I am giving you and give attention to them, so that it may be well for you and for your children after you for ever, while you do what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord your God.
29 Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị ga-ala mba niile bi nʼala ahụ ị na-aga ibuso agha nʼiyi. Ma mgbe i si nʼala ahụ chụpụ ha, ị ga-ebichi nʼala ha.
When the people of the land where you are going have been cut off before you by the Lord your God, and you have taken their land and are living in it;
30 Mgbe ị lachara ha nʼiyi, lezie anya ka ị ghara ịma nʼọnya, site nʼịjụ ajụjụ ka ịjụpụta otu ha si efe chi ha, na-asị, “Mba ndị a o si aṅaa na-efe chi ha ofufe? Anyị ga-emekwa otu a.”
After their destruction take care that you do not go in their ways, and that you do not give thought to their gods, saying, How did these nations give worship to their gods? I will do as they did.
Do not so to the Lord your God: for everything which is disgusting to the Lord and hated by him they have done in honour of their gods: even burning their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.
32 Lezienụ anya hụ na unu na-eme ihe niile bụ nke m nyere unu nʼiwu. Unu etinyela ihe nʼime ya maọbụ wepụkwa ihe site na ya.
You are to keep with care all the words I give you, making no addition to them and taking nothing from them.
