1 Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị sịrị, “Nʼihi njehie atọ nke Moab, e, nʼihi nke anọ, agaghị m ahapụ inye ya ntaramahụhụ. Nʼihi na ha surere ọkpụkpụ eze ndị Edọm ọkụ, mee ha ka ha ghọọ ntụ.
The Lord says: For Moab’s three crimes – no, four! – I will not rescind my judgment. They have burned to lime the bones of the king of Edom,
2 Ya mere, aga m ezite ọkụ na Moab, nke ga-erepịa ebe niile e wusiri ike nke Keriọt. Moab ga-anwụ nʼime ọgbaaghara, nʼetiti mkpu agha, na ụda opi ike.
to desecrate the dead. So I will send a fire into Moab. It will devour the palaces of Kirioth, with a war-cry, with the sound of trumpets.
3 Aga m ala onyeisi ọchịchị ya nʼiyi, gbukwaa ndị ozi niile nọ nʼokpuru ya.” Ọ bụ Onyenwe anyị na-ekwu.
I will kill the ruler, all his nobles I will slay with him, says the Lord.
4 Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị sịrị, “Nʼihi njehie atọ nke Juda, e, nʼihi nke anọ, agaghị m ahapụ inye ya ntaramahụhụ. Nʼihi na ha ajụla iwu Onyenwe anyị. Ha ajụkwala irube isi ha nʼụkpụrụ ya. Ha abụrụla ndị e ji okwu ụgha duhie, bụ okwu ụgha ndị ahụ nna nna ha gbasoro.
The Lord says: For Judah’s three crimes – no, four! – I will not rescind my judgment. They have rejected the law of the Lord and have not kept his statutes. Instead their false gods their ancestors followed, have led them astray.
5 Nʼihi nke a, aga m esunye ọkụ na Juda, ọ ga-erepịa ebe niile e wusiri ike nke Jerusalem.”
So I will send a fire on Judah. It will devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
6 Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị sịrị, “Nʼihi njehie atọ nke Izrel, e, nʼihi nke anọ, agaghị m ahapụ inye ya ntaramahụhụ. Ha na-ere ndị ezi omume nʼihi ọlaọcha, reekwa ụmụ ogbenye nʼọnụ ahịa e ji azụ akpụkpọụkwụ abụọ.
The Lord says: For Israel’s three crimes – no, four! – I will not rescind my judgment. They sell the righteous for money, the needy for a pair of shoes.
7 Ha na-azọpịa isi ndị ike na-adịghị, na-echi ha ọnụ nʼaja, na-ewezuga ndị dị umeala nʼụzọ ezi ihe. Nwoke na nna ya na-edinakwuru otu nwaagbọghọ, si otu a merụọ aha nsọ m.
They trample on the head of the poor, push the humble out of the way. Father and son go to the same temple girl, and so profane my holy name.
8 Ha na-edina nʼakụkụ ebe ịchụ aja ọbụla, nʼelu uwe ndị anatara na mbe. Nʼime ụlọnsọ chi ha, ha na-aṅụ mmanya ha natara dịka ihe nra.
They stretch themselves on garments taken in pledges beside every altar, and they drink the wine of those who have been fined in the house of their God.
9 “Ma a lara m ndị Amọrait nʼiyi nʼihu ha, ndị ahụ dị ogologo dịka osisi sida, ndị sikwara ike dịka osisi ook. Alara m mkpụrụ ha dị nʼelu, na mgbọrọgwụ ha niile dị nʼokpuru nʼiyi.
It was I who destroyed the Amorites for your sake, whose height was like that of the cedars, as strong as oaks. I destroyed their fruit from above and their roots from below.
10 Esitere m nʼala Ijipt kpọpụta unu, duru unu gafee nʼọzara iri afọ anọ, ime ka unu nweta ala ndị Amọrait.
It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, led you forty years in the wilderness, brought you here to possess the land of the Amorites.
11 “Ahọpụtara m ụmụ unu ụfọdụ ka ha bụrụ ndị amụma, họpụtakwa ụfọdụ ndị okorobịa unu ka ha bụrụ Nazirait. Unu ndị Izrel, unu ga-agọ na nke a abụghị eziokwu?” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara ya.
I raised up some of your sons to be prophets some of your youths to be Nazirites. Is not this indeed so, Israelites? says the Lord.
12 “Ma unu mere ka ndị Nazirait ahụ ṅụọ mmanya. Unu nyekwara ndị amụma iwu ka ha kwụsị ibu amụma.
But you made the Nazirites drink wine and banned the prophets from prophesying.
13 “Nʼihi ya, aga m abịada unu nʼala nʼọnọdụ unu, dịka ụgbọala nke e bujuru ukwu ọka si abịada.
Listen! It is I who will make you groan in your places, as a wagon groans under its load of grain.
14 Ịgba ọsọ agaghị azọpụta ọ bụladị ndị dị nwe ụkwụ ọsọ, ndị dị ike agaghị agba onwe ha ume, ndị bụ dike nʼagha agaghị azọpụta onwe ha.
Then flight will fail the swift, and the strength of the strongest will be useless. The warrior will not save his life,
15 Ndị na-agba ụta agaghị agbata ihe ọbụla, ndị nwere ụkwụ ọsọ agaghị enwekwa ike ịgba ọsọ. Ọ bụladị onye ịgba ịnyịnya doro anya agakwaghị enwe ike ịgbanarị ihe mberede nke ga-abịakwasị ya.
the archer will not stand firm, the swift of foot will not escape, the horseman will not save his life.
16 Ndị obi siri ike nʼetiti ndị dike unu, ga-agbara ọtọ gbapụ ọsọ nʼụbọchị ahụ.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
The bravest of warriors will flee away naked in that day, says the Lord.
