< Ọrụ Ndị Ozi 3 >
1 Otu ụbọchị Pita na Jọn na-aga nʼụlọnsọ ukwu ikpe ekpere nʼoge ekpere nʼelekere atọ nke ehihie.
Now Peter and John were going up to the temple together at the hour of prayer, which is the ninth hour.
2 Ma otu nwoke dara ngwụrọ site nʼafọ nne ya ka a na-ebute nʼọnụ ụzọ ama nke ụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ ụbọchị niile ka ọ na-arịọ ndị na-aba nʼime ụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ arịrịọ. Aha ọnụ ụzọ ama ahụ bụ ọnụ ụzọ ama ọma.
And a certain man who had been lame from his birth was carried along; whom they laid every day at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of those that were going into the temple:
3 Mgbe ọ hụrụ Pita na Jọn ka ha na-achọ ịba nʼụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ, o bidoro ịrịọ ha arịrịọ.
who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked alms of them.
But Peter, and John, looking earnestly at him said, Look on us.
And he fixed his eyes upon them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 Ma Pita sịrị, “Enweghị m ọlaọcha maọbụ ọlaedo ma ihe m nwere ka m na-enye gị. Nʼaha Jisọs Kraịst onye Nazaret bilie ọtọ gawa ije.”
But Peter said, Silver and gold I have not; but what I have I give thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.
And taking him by the right hand, he raised him up: and immediately his feet and ancles were strengthened:
8 Ọ wụliri elu nʼụkwụ ya, bido ịga ije. O soro ha baa nʼụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ, ya na-aga, ya ana-awụlị elu, na-etokwa Chineke.
and leaping up he stood firm, and walked; and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 Mmadụ niile hụrụ ya ka ọ na-agagharị na-eto Chineke,
And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10 ha ghọtara na ọ bụ ya bụ onye ahụ na-anọ nʼọnụ ụzọ ama ụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ, nke a na-akpọ ọnụ ụzọ ama ọma na-arịọ arịrịọ. Ọ gbagwojuru ha anya nke ukwuu, gbakwa ha gharịị ihe mere ya.
and knew that it was he who sat to ask for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with astonishment and extasy at what had befallen him.
11 Ma dị ka o jidere Pita na Jọn aka, ndị mmadụ niile jiri mgbagwoju anya gbara ọsọ bịakwute ha nʼakụkụ ụlọnsọ ahụ ebe a na-akpọ mgbe ụlọ Solomọn.
And as the lame man that was healed had hold of Peter and John, all the people being astonished ran together to them to the porch called Solomon's porch.
12 Mgbe Pita hụrụ nke a, ọ gwara igwe mmadụ ahụ, “Ndị Izrel, gịnị mere ihe a ji eju unu anya? Gịnị mere unu ji ele anyị anya dịka a ga-asị na ọ bụ site nʼike nke anyị maọbụ nʼịdị nsọ anyị ka anyị jiri mee ka nwoke a gawa ije?
And Peter seeing this said to the people, Men of Israel, why marvel ye at this, or why look ye so earnestly on us, as if by our own power or piety we had made this man able to walk?
13 Chineke nke Ebraham, nke Aịzik na nke Jekọb, Chineke nke nna anyị ha, ebuliela onye na-ejere ya ozi, bụ Jisọs elu, onye unu nyefere ka e gbuo, ma gọnarịkwa ya nʼihu Pailet, nʼagbanyeghị na o kpebiri ịhapụ ya ka ọ laa.
The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our fathers hath glorified his son Jesus, whom ye delivered up, and denied before Pilate, when he determined to release Him.
14 Unu gọnarịrị onye ahụ dị nsọ bụrụkwa onye ezi omume, ma rịọ ka a hapụrụ unu ogbu mmadụ.
But ye refused the holy and righteous One, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you:
15 Unu gburu onye ahụ na-enye ndụ, ma Chineke akpọlitela ya site nʼọnwụ. Anyị bụ ndị akaebe ihe ndị a.
and put to death the prince of life; whom God hath raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.
16 Ọ bụ site nʼokwukwe nʼaha ya, ọ bụ aha ya naanị mere nwoke a ka ọ dị ike onye nke unu na-ahụ ma marakwa. Okwukwe nʼime Jisọs mere ka ahụ ya zuo oke nʼihu unu niile.
And through faith in his name, hath strengthened this man, whom ye see and know: his name, I say, and saith in Him, hath wrought this perfect cure before you all.
17 “Ugbu a ụmụnna m, amaara m na unu kpara agwa na-amaghị ama, dịka ndị ndu unu sikwara kpaa.
And now, brethren, I know that ye did it through ignorance, as did also your rulers:
18 Ma Chineke siri otu a mezuo ihe o kwuru site nʼọnụ ndị amụma niile na Kraịst ya aghaghị ịhụ ahụhụ.
but thus hath God accomplished those things which He had foretold by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer.
19 Ya mere, chegharịanụ ugbu a ma lọghachikwutekwanụ Chineke, ka e nwee ike ihichapụ mmehie unu,
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out: that seasons of refreshing may come upon you from the presence of the Lord;
20 ka enyekwa unu ntute nke ime mmụọ nke sitere nʼihu Onyenwe anyị, ma zitekwara unu Kraịst ahụ, bụ onye ahọpụtara nye unu, nke bụ Jisọs.
and He may send Jesus Christ, who was before preached unto you:
21 Onye eluigwe na-aghaghị ịnabata tutu ruo oge ahụ Chineke ga-eweghachi ihe niile nʼọnọdụ ha, dịka o kwere na nkwa nʼogologo oge gara aga site nʼọnụ ndị amụma ya dị nsọ. (aiōn )
whom heaven must indeed receive till the times of settling all things, of which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets from the beginning. (aiōn )
22 Mosis sịrị, ‘Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke ga-eme ka onye amụma ga-adị ka m biliere unu site nʼetiti ụmụ nne unu, unu aghaghị ige ntị nʼihe niile ọ ga-agwa unu.
For Moses said unto the fathers, the Lord your God will raise up a prophet unto you, of your brethren, like me, Him shall ye hear in all things whatever He shall say unto you;
23 Onye ọbụla jụrụ ige onye amụma ahụ ntị, ka a ga-ekewapụ kpamkpam site nʼetiti ndị ya ma bibiekwa ya.’
and every soul, who will not hearken to that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people: yea and all the prophets from Samuel,
24 “Nʼezie ndị amụma niile site na Samuel na ndị ọzọ so ya nʼazụ, bukwara amụma banyere ụbọchị ndị a.
and those that followed, as many as have prophesied, have also foretold these days.
25 Ma unu bụ ndị nketa nke ndị amụma, nakwa nke ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ Chineke na nna nna unu gbara, mgbe ọ gwara Ebraham, ‘Site na mkpụrụ gị ka a ga-agọzi mba niile nke ụwa.’
Now ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant, which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, "And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed:"
26 Mgbe Chineke kpọlitere onyeozi ya, o buuru ụzọ zitere unu ya, ka ọ gọzie unu site nʼime ka onye ọbụla nʼime unu chegharịa site nʼụzọ ọjọọ ya.”
and to you first God having raised up his son Jesus, sent Him to bless you; in your turning away every one of you from your iniquities.
