< 2 Timoti 4 >

I ADJURE thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
preach the word, be urgent, in season, out of season; reprove, enjoin, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 Nʼihi na oge na-abịa mgbe ụfọdụ mmadụ na-agaghị anagidekwa eziokwu ahụ, kama ha ga-agagharị ịchọ ndị ozizi ha ga-eji gbaa onwe ha gburugburu, ndị ga-ezi ha ihe ha chọrọ ịnụ.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own inclinations will set up a herd of teachers for themselves, having the itch of hearing;
4 Ha agaghị ege ntị nʼeziokwu ahụ, kama ha ga-ege ntị nʼakụkọ na-enweghị isi.
and will turn away their ears from the truth, and listen unto fables.
5 Ma guzosie ike, nọọ na nche mgbe niile, na-edi ahụhụ, na-arụkwa ọrụ gị dịka onye oziọma. Rụzukwaa ihe ị kwesiri ịrụ nʼọrụ gị.
But watch thou in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully discharge thy ministry.
6 Nʼihi na ugbu a, abụrụla m rịị onye a na-awụpụ dị ka aja ihe ọṅụṅụ, oge ụla m eruokwala.
For I am now ready to be sacrificed, and the time of my dissolution approaches.
7 Alụsịala m ọgụ ọma ahụ, agbasịala m ọsọ ahụ, edebezuokwala m okwukwe ahụ.
I have struggled hard in the honourable contest, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith:
8 Ugbu a, e deberela m okpueze nke ezi omume, nke Onyenwe anyị, onye ikpe ezi omume ahụ, ga-enye m nʼụbọchị ahụ.
henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: yet not to me only, but also to all who have loved his appearing.
9 Gbalịsie ike ịbịakwute m ọsịịsọ,
Hasten to come to me shortly:
10 nʼihi na Dimas onye hụrụ ihe ndụ a nʼanya ahapụla m gaa Tesalonaịka. Kresens agaala Galeshịa, Taịtọs agakwaala Dalmetia. (aiōn g165)
for Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is gone unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia; Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
11 Ọ bụ naanị Luk nọnyere m. Mgbe ị na-abịa, kpọta Mak nʼihi na ọ ga-enyere m aka nʼije ozi m.
Luke alone is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee; for he is very useful to me in the ministry.
12 Ezipụla m Taịkikọs ka ọ gaa Efesọs.
But Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.
13 Mgbe ị na-abịa, wetara m uwe m ji achụ oyi, bụ nke m hapụrụ nʼaka Kapọs na Troas, wetakwara m akwụkwọ m niile ahụ dị nʼebe ahụ, ọkachasị akwụkwọ akpụkpọ anụ niile ahụ.
The cloke which I left behind me at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest bring, and the books, especially the parchments.
Alexander the brazier did me many ill offices: the Lord repay him according to his works:
15 Kpachara anya nʼebe ọ nọ, nʼihi na o guzosiri ike megide ihe niile anyị kwuru.
against whom be thou also on thy guard, for he hath greatly resisted our words.
16 Na mbụ, mgbe m pụtara ikpere ọnụ m, ọ dịghị onye kwụnyeere m. Ha niile gbahapụrụ m. Ka a hapụ ịgụnyere ha omume a dị ka mmehie.
At my first apology no man stood by me, but all forsook me: (may it not be imputed to them!)
17 Ma Onyenwe anyị nọnyeere m, nyekwa m ike ikwusa oziọma ka ndị mba ọzọ niile nụrụ ya. Ọ zọpụtara m, site nʼọnụ ọdụm.
but the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that by me the preaching might be fully discharged, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was snatched out of the lion’s mouth.
18 Onyenwe anyị ga-azọpụtakwa m site nʼihe ọjọọ niile ọbụla, kpọbata m nʼudo baa nʼalaeze eluigwe ya. Ọ bụ ya ka otuto dịrị ruo mgbe niile ebighị ebi. Amen. (aiōn g165)
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and preserve me for his celestial kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Salute Priscilla and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.
Erastus hath abode at Corinth: but Trophimus I left behind me at Miletum sick.
21 Jisie ike bịarute nʼebe a tupu oge oyi eruo.
Hasten to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
22 Ka Onyenwe anyị nọnyere mmụọ gị. Ka amara dịnyere gị.
The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen. The second epistle to Timothy, appointed the first bishop of the Ephesian church, was written from Rome, when the second time Paul stood before the Caesar Nero.
