< 2 Timoti 3 >

Be sure of this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 Nʼihi na ndị mmadụ ga-abụ ndị na-ahụ naanị onwe ha nʼanya, na ndị na-ahụ ego nʼanya. Ha ga-abụ ndị mpako, na ndị na-anya isi, ndị na-ekwujọ ibe ha, ndị na-adịghị asọpụrụ ndị mụrụ ha, maọbụ ikele ha ekele, na ndị na-adịghị ọcha nʼobi ha.
People will be selfish, mercenary, boastful, haughty, and blasphemous; disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, impure,
3 Ndị na-enweghị ịhụnanya nʼobi ha, ndị na-enweghị obi mgbaghara, ndị na-agba asịrị, ndị na-emebiga ihe ọjọọ oke, ndị na-eme dị ka anụ ọhịa, na ndị ihe ọma na-adịghị atọ ụtọ.
incapable of affection, merciless, slanderous, wanting in self-control, brutal, careless of the right,
4 Ndị na-arara ibe ha nye nʼaka ndị iro ha, ndị isiike, ndị onwe ha juru afọ; ndị na-ahụ ihe ụtọ nke ụwa a nʼanya, kama ịhụ Chineke nʼanya.
treacherous, reckless, and puffed up with pride; they will love pleasure more than they love God;
Zere onwe gị nʼebe ndị dị otu a nọ.
and while they retain the outward form of religion, they will not allow it to influence them. Turn your back on such people as these.
6 Ụfọdụ nʼime ha bụ ndị na-abanye nʼime ụlọ ndị mmadụ na-eduhiekwa ụmụ nwanyị na-enweghị uche, ndị ibu mmehie ha na-anyịgbu, na ndị a pụrụ iduhie nʼihi ọtụtụ ihe ọjọọ na-agụ mkpụrụobi ha agụụ.
For among them are to be found those who creep into homes and captivate weak women – women who, loaded with sins, and slaves to all kinds of passions,
are always learning, and yet never able to attain to a real knowledge of the truth.
8 Dị ka Jenas na Jembaras si lụso Mosis ọgụ, otu a ka ndị a na-alụsokwa eziokwu ahụ ọgụ. Ha bụ ndị nwere obi rụrụ arụ, na ndị ndụ ha mere ka ha bụrụ ndị a jụrụ ajụ nʼebe okwukwe anyị dị.
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these people, in their turn, oppose the truth. Their minds are corrupted, and, as regards the faith, they are utterly worthless.
9 Ma ha agaghị aga nʼihu nʼihi na nzuzu ha ga-apụta ihe nʼihu mmadụ niile, dịka nke mmadụ abụọ ahụ.
They will not, however, make further progress; for their wicked folly will be plain to everyone, just as the folly Jannes and Jambres was.
But you, Timothy, were a close observer of my teaching, my conduct, my purposes, my faith, my forbearance, my love, and my patient endurance,
as well as of my persecutions, and of the sufferings which I met with at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. You know what persecutions I underwent; and yet the Lord brought me safe out of all!
12 Nʼezie, ndị niile chọrọ ibi ndụ ịsọpụrụ Chineke nʼime Kraịst Jisọs ga-agabiga mkpagbu.
Yes, and all who aim at living a religious life in union with Christ Jesus will have to suffer persecution;
but wicked people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and deceived themselves.
14 Ma gị onwe gị, nọgidesie ike nʼihe ịmụtara na ihe i kwenyesịrị ike na ya, ebe ị maara onye i si nʼaka ya mụta ha.
You, however, must stand by what you learnt and accepted as true. You know who they were from whom you learnt it;
15 Ị maara na ọ bụ site nʼoge ị bụ nwantakịrị ka ihe e dere nʼakwụkwọ nsọ jiri doo gị anya, nke nwere ike ikuziri gị maka nzọpụta site nʼokwukwe i nwere nʼime Kraịst Jisọs.
and that, from your childhood, you have known the sacred writings, which can give you the wisdom that, through belief in Christ Jesus, leads to salvation.
16 Ihe niile dị nʼakwụkwọ nsọ bụ ihe si nʼuche Chineke pụta. Ha bara uru maka izi anyị ihe, igosi erughị eru anyị, ịtụziri anyị aka nʼụzọ dị mma, na ịzụ anyị nʼụzọ ezi omume:
All scripture is God-breathed: helpful for teaching, for refuting error, for giving guidance, and for training others in righteousness;
17 ka onye nke Chineke zuo oke, dịkwa njikere maka ịrụ ezi ọrụ niile ọbụla.
so that God’s people may be capable and equipped for good work of every kind.
