< 2 Samuel 15 >
1 Mgbe nke a gasịrị, Absalọm zụtaara onwe ya ụgbọ agha na ịnyịnya na-adọkpụ ya. O nwetakwaara onwe ya iri ndị ikom ise ndị na-agba ọsọ nʼihu ya.
And it was from after thus and he acquired for himself Absalom a chariot and horses and fifty man [who] ran before him.
2 Nʼisi ụtụtụ, ọ na-ebili gaa guzo nʼakụkụ ọnụ ụzọ e si abata Jerusalem. Ọ bụrụ na ọ hụ onye ọbụla nwere okwu ọ chọrọ ka eze mara ihe banyere ya, Absalọm na-akpọ onye ahụ jụọ ya sị, “Olee obodo i si bịa?” Onye ahụ na-aza sị, “Ohu gị si nʼotu nʼime ebo dị nʼIzrel.”
And he rose early Absalom and he stood at [the] side of [the] road of the gate and it was every person whom it belonged to him a case at law to come to the king for judgment and he called out Absalom to him and he said where? from this city [are] you and he said [is] from one of [the] tribes of Israel servant your.
3 Absalọm na-agwa onye ahụ sị, “Ahụrụ m na okwu gị niile bụ eziokwu. Ma ọ na-ewute m na eze enweghị onye na-enyere ya aka ịnụ okwu ndị a niile.”
And he said to him Absalom see matter your [are] good and right and [one who] hears not [belongs] to you from with the king.
4 Absalọm na-ekwukwa sị, “Asị na m bụ onye ikpe nʼala Izrel, onye ọbụla nwere okwu na ụka gaara abịakwute m ka m mee ka ikpe ziri ezi rute ya aka.”
And he said Absalom who? will he make me a judge in the land and to me he will come every person whom it belongs to him a case at law and a judgment and I will do justice him.
5 Mgbe onye ọbụla bịara ịkpọ isiala nye ya nʼọnọdụ nsọpụrụ, ọ na-eseti aka ya, jide onye ahụ sutu ya ọnụ.
And it was when drew near anyone to bow down to him and he stretched out hand his and he took hold of him and he kissed him.
6 Otu a ka Absalọm sị na-akpaso ndị Izrel agwa, bụ ndị ahụ niile na-abịakwute eze na-arịọ maka ikpe ziri ezi. O si otu a zuru obi ndị Izrel niile nʼohi.
And he did Absalom according to the manner this to all Israel who they came for judgment to the king and he stole Absalom [the] heart of [the] men of Israel.
7 Mgbe afọ anọ gasịrị, Absalọm bịakwutere eze rịọọ ya sị, “Biko kwere ka m jee Hebrọn mezuoro Onyenwe anyị nkwa m kwere ya.
And it was from [the] end of forty year[s] and he said Absalom to the king let me go please so I may pay vow my which I vowed to Yahweh in Hebron.
8 Mgbe ohu gị bi na Geshua nʼime Aram, ekweere m nkwa a, ‘Ọ bụrụ na Onyenwe anyị ga-eme ka m lọghachi ọzọ na Jerusalem, aga m efe ya ofufe na Hebrọn.’”
For a vow he vowed servant your when dwelt I at Geshur in Aram saying if (certainly *Q(K)*) he will bring back me Yahweh Jerusalem and I will serve Yahweh (in Hebron. *X*)
9 Eze sịrị ya, “Gaa nʼudo.” Ya mere, ọ pụrụ gaa Hebrọn.
And he said to him the king go in peace and he arose and he went Hebron towards.
10 Mgbe ahụ, Absalọm zigara ndị ozi na nzuzo, ka ha gaa nʼebo niile nke ala Izrel. Nke a bụ ihe o ziri ha, “Mgbe unu nụrụ ụda opi ike, tienụ mkpu sị, ‘Absalọm abụrụla eze na Hebrọn.’”
And he sent Absalom spies in all [the] tribes of Israel saying when hear you [the] sound of the ram's horn and you will say he has become king Absalom in Hebron.
11 Narị mmadụ abụọ si Jerusalem soro Absalọm gaa dịka ndị ọ kpọrọ oku oriri ma ha amaghị ihe ọbụla.
And with Absalom they went two hundred man from Jerusalem [those who] were invited and [those who] were going to innocence their and not they knew any thing.
12 Mgbe Absalọm nọkwa na-achụ aja ahụ, o ziri ozi ka a kpọọ Ahitofel onye Gailo, otu nʼime ndị na-adụ Devid ọdụ, ka o si Gailo bịa nke bụ obodo ya. Nke a mere ka nkwekọrịta nzuzo ọjọọ ahụ na-esi ike karịa, ndị dịnyere Absalọm na-amụbanyekwa.
And he sent Absalom Ahithophel the Gilonite [the] counselor of David from city his from Giloh when sacrificed he the sacrifices and it was the conspiracy strong and the people [was] going and numerous with Absalom.
13 Ọ dịghị anya, onyeozi bịaruru Jerusalem gwa Devid na ndị Izrel niile kwagidere Absalọm.
And he came the messenger to David saying it is [the] heart of [the] man of Israel after Absalom.
14 Mgbe ahụ, Devid gwara ndị ọrụ ya niile ndị ya na ha nọ na Jerusalem, sị, “Bilienụ! Anyị aghaghị ịgbapụ, ma ọ bụghị otu a, ọ dịghị onye nʼime anyị ga-agbanarị Absalọm. Anyị ga-ahapụ ugbu a, ma ọ bụghị ya, ọ ga-eme ngwa gafee anyị wetara anyị mbibi, werekwa mma agha gbuchapụ ndị niile nọ nʼobodo a.”
And he said David to all servants his who [were] with him in Jerusalem arise so let us flee for not it will belong to us an escape from before Absalom hurry to go lest he should hurry and he will overtake us and he will thrust on us calamity and he will strike the city to [the] mouth of [the] sword.
15 Ndị na-ejere ya ozi zara sị ya, “Anyị dịnyere gị! Anyị jikekwara ime ihe ọbụla onyenwe anyị eze kwuru.”
And they said [the] servants of the king to the king according to all that he will choose lord my the king here! [are] servants your.
16 Ya mere, eze na ndị ụlọ ya niile si na Jerusalem pụọ. Ọ dịghị onye ọ hapụrụ karịakwa ndị iko ya nwanyị iri nʼihi ilekọta obieze ahụ.
And he went out the king and all household his at feet his and he left the king ten women concubines to keep the house.
17 Eze biliri pụọ, ya na ndị niile so ya, ha kwụsịrị nʼoke ala nke obodo ahụ.
And he went out the king and all the people at feet his and they stood [the] house of the distance.
18 Ndị niile na-ejere ya ozi, gafere nʼakụkụ ya, ha na ndị Keret na Pelet, na narị ndị ikom isii ndị Git, bụ ndị so ya site na Gat, gafekwara nọrọ nʼihu eze.
And all servants his [were] passing by at side his and all the Kerethite[s] and all the Pelethite[s] and all the Gittites six hundred man who they had come at foot his from Gath [were] passing by at [the] face of the king.
19 Mgbe ahụ, Devid tụgharịrị kpọọ Itai, onye Git, ọchịagha narị ndị agha isii ahụ sị ya, “Gịnị mere i ji eso m? Laghachi azụ soro eze Absalọm, nʼihi na ị bụ ọbịa nʼIzrel, onye gbatara ọsọ ndụ.
And he said the king to Ittai the Gittite why? will you go also you with us return and dwell with the king for [are] a foreigner you and also [are] an exile you to place your.
20 Ọ dịbeghị anya kemgbe ị bịara. M ga-esi aṅaa kwere ka i soro m na-awagharị, ebe ọ bụ na m amaghị ebe m na-aga. Chịrị ndị agha gị laghachi. Ka obiọma na ikwesi ntụkwasị obi dịnyere unu.”
[was] yesterday - Coming you and this day (will I make wander? you *Q(K)*) with us to go and I [am] going to where I [am] going return and take back brothers your [be] with you covenant loyalty and truth.
21 Ma Itai zara eze sị, “Dịka Onyenwe anyị na-adị ndụ, onyenwe m na-adịkwa ndụ, ebe ọbụla onyenwe m bụ eze ga-anọ, ma ọ pụtara ndụ maọbụ ọnwụ, nʼebe ahụ ka odibo gị ga-anọkwa.”
And he answered Ittai the king and he said [by] [the] life of Yahweh and [by] [the] life of lord my the king that except in [the] place where he will be there - lord my the king whether for death or for life for there he will be servant your.
22 Devid sịrị Itai, “Gaa nʼihu, gabiga.” Ya mere Itai, onye Git gabigara ya na ndị ikom ya niile, na ezinaụlọ niile ndị so ya.
And he said David to Ittai come and pass on and he passed on Ittai the Gittite and all men his and all the little one[s] who [were] with him.
23 Obodo niile tiri mkpu akwa mgbe ndị ahụ niile na-agabiga. Eze gafere ọdọ mmiri Kidrọn, ya na ndị mmadụ niile chere ihu nʼụzọ ọzara.
And all the land [were] weeping a voice great and all the people [were] passing by and the king [was] passing in [the] wadi of Kidron and all the people [were] passing on on [the] face of [the] road the wilderness.
24 Zadọk bịakwara, ya na ndị Livayị niile, ndị bu igbe ọgbụgba ndụ Chineke. Ha dọbara igbe ọgbụgba ndụ Chineke nʼala. Abịata chụgidere aja tutu ruo mgbe mmadụ niile sitere nʼobodo ahụ gabigasịrị.
And there! also Zadok and all the Levites with him [were] carrying [the] ark of [the] covenant of God and they set down [the] ark of God and he went up Abiathar until was finished all the people to pass out from the city.
25 Mgbe ahụ, eze sịrị Zadọk, “Bughachi igbe Chineke a nʼime obodo. Ọ bụrụ na m ahụta amara nʼanya Onyenwe anyị, ọ ga-akpọghachi m mee ka m hụ ya, na ebe obibi ya anya ọzọ.
And he said the king to Zadok take back [the] ark of God the city if I will find favor in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he will bring back me and he will show me it and habitation his.
26 Ma ọ bụrụ na ọ sị, ‘Ihe banyere gị adịghị atọkwa m ụtọ,’ lee m, ya mee m otu o si dị ya mma nʼanya.”
And if thus he will say not I delight in you here [am] I let him do to me just as it is good in view his.
27 Mgbe ahụ, eze gwara Zadọk bụ onye nchụaja sị, “Ọkwa ị bụ onye ọhụ ụzọ? Laghachi nʼobodo nʼudo, kpọrọ Ahimaaz nwa gị nwoke, na Jonatan nwa Abịata. Gị na Abịata kpọrọ ụmụ unu ndị ikom abụọ ndị a laghachi nʼobodo.
And he said the king to Zadok the priest ¿ a seer [are] you return! the city in peace and Ahimaaz son your and Jonathan [the] son of Abiathar [the] two sons your with you.
28 Aga m akwụsị chere nʼebe e si akwọfe osimiri Jọdan, ruo mgbe ozi ga-esi nʼebe ị nọ bịa.”
See I [will] delay (in [the] desert plains of *Q(K)*) the wilderness until comes word from with you to tell to me.
29 Mgbe ahụ, Zadọk na Abịata bughachiri igbe Chineke na Jerusalem. Ha nọdụkwara nʼebe ahụ.
And he took back Zadok and Abiathar [the] ark of God Jerusalem and they remained there.
30 Ma Devid na ndị so ya chere ihu irigo Ugwu Oliv. Mgbe ọ na-aga, Devid nọ na-akwa akwa. O yikwaghị ihe ọbụla nʼụkwụ ya, ma o ji ihe kpuchie isi ya. Ndị niile so ya kpuchikwara isi ha na-akwakwa akwa ka ha na-arịgo.
And David [was] going up on [the] ascent of the olive trees going up - and weeping and head of him [was] covered and he [was] walking barefoot and all the people which [was] with him they covered each head his and they went up continuously and wept.
31 Mgbe a gwara Devid na Ahitofel onye na-adụ ya ọdụ dịnyere Absalọm, Devid kpere ekpere sị, “O Onyenwe anyị, biko, tụgharịa ndụmọdụ Ahitofel ka ọ bụrụ ndụmọdụ nzuzu.”
And David someone told saying Ahithophel [is] among the conspirators with Absalom and he said David make foolish please [the] counsel of Ahithophel O Yahweh.
32 Mgbe Devid bịaruru nʼelu Ugwu Oliv, ebe ndị mmadụ na-anọ na-efe Chineke ofufe, Hushaị, onye Akai nọ nʼebe ahụ na-eche izute ya. Uwe ya dọwakwara adọwa, aja dịkwa ya nʼisi.
And he was David coming to the top where he bowed down there to God and there! to meet him Hushai the Arkite [was] torn tunic his and earth [was] on head his.
33 Ma Devid sịrị ya, “Ọ bụrụ na i soro m, ị ga-abụ ibu arọ nye m.
And he said to him David if you pass over with me and you will become on me a burden.
34 Ma ọ bụrụ na ị laghachi nʼobodo, sị Absalọm, ‘Aga m abụ ohu gị, eze. Abụ m ohu nna gị nʼoge gara aga, ugbu a aga m abụ ohu gị.’ Nʼụzọ dị otu a ị ga-enyere m aka mebie ndụmọdụ Ahitofel.
And if the city you will return and you will say to Absalom servant your I O king I will be [was] [the] servant of father your I from then and now I [will be] servant your and you will frustrate for me [the] counsel of Ahithophel.
35 Ọ bụ na Zadọk na Abịata ndị nchụaja agaghị eso gị nọdụ nʼebe ahụ? Gwa ha ihe ọbụla ị ga-anụta nʼụlọeze.
And ¿ not with you there [are] Zadok and Abiathar the priests and it will be every word which you will hear from [the] house of the king you will tell to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests.
36 Ụmụ ha ndị ikom, Ahimaaz nwa Zadọk na Jonatan nwa Abịata so ha nọdụ nʼebe ahụ. Zitere m ha ka ha gwa m ihe ọbụla ị nụtara.”
There! there [are] with them [the] two sons their Ahimaaz of Zadok and Jonathan of Abiathar and you will send by hand their to me every word which you will hear.
37 Ya mere Hushaị, enyi Devid, bịarutere Jerusalem mgbe Absalọm na-abata obodo ahụ.
And he came Hushai [the] friend of David the city and Absalom he came Jerusalem.
