In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him: 'Thus saith the LORD: Set thy house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.'
2 Hezekaya tụgharịrị chee ihu ya nʼaja ụlọ, kpee ekpere nye Onyenwe anyị, sị,
Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying:

'Remember now, O LORD, I beseech Thee, how I have walked before Thee in truth and with a whole heart, and have done that which is good in Thy sight.' And Hezekiah wept sore.
4 Tupu Aịzaya esite nʼetiti ogige ụlọeze pụọ, okwu nke Onyenwe anyị rutere ya ntị, sị ya:
And it came to pass, before Isaiah was gone out of the inner court of the city, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying:
5 “Gaghachi azụ, gaa gwa Hezekaya, onye na-achị ndị m, ‘Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke nna gị Devid, kwuru: Anụla m ekpere gị, ahụkwala m anya mmiri akwa gị, aga m agwọ gị. Aga m eme ka ahụ dị gị ike nʼụbọchị nke atọ site taa, mgbe ahụ ị ga-aga nʼụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị.
'Return, and say to Hezekiah the prince of My people: Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father: I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears; behold, I will heal thee; on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.
6 Aga m atụkwasị afọ iri na ise nʼụbọchị ndụ gị. Aga m anapụtakwa gị na obodo a site nʼaka eze Asịrịa. Aga m echebe obodo a nʼihi mụ onwe m, na nʼihi Devid, bụ ohu m.’”
And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for Mine own sake, and for My servant David's sake.'
7 Mgbe ahụ, Aịzaya sịrị, “Kwadoonụ mmanụ fiig dị ọkụ.” Ha mere nke a, teekwasị ya nʼelu etuto ahụ, ahụ dịkwara ya mma.
And Isaiah said: 'Take a cake of figs.' And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
8 Mgbe ahụ, Hezekaya jụrụ Aịzaya sị, “Gịnị ga-abụ ihe ịrịbama na Onyenwe anyị ga-agwọ m, na m ga-aga nʼụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị nʼụbọchị nke atọ na-abịa nʼihu?”
And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah: 'What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up unto the house of the LORD the third day?'
9 Aịzaya zara, “Nke a bụ ihe ama Onyenwe anyị nye gị na Onyenwe anyị ga-emezu ihe o kwere na nkwa. Ị chọrọ ka onyinyo a gaa nʼihu ihe nrigo iri, ka ọ bụ ka ọ laa azụ ihe nrigo iri?”
And Isaiah said: 'This shall be the sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that He hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
10 Hezekaya zara sị, “Ọ dị mfe ka onyinyo gaa nʼihu nzọ ụkwụ iri. Ma mee ka onyinyo a laa azụ ihe nrigo iri.”
And Hezekiah answered: 'It is a light thing for the shadow to decline ten degrees; nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.'
11 Mgbe ahụ, Aịzaya, onye amụma rịọrọ Onyenwe anyị ka o meere Hezekaya nke a. Onyenwe anyị mekwara ka onyinyo laghachi azụ ihe nrigo iri dịka o si gbada nʼihe nrigo ụlọ Ehaz.
And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD; and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.
12 Nʼoge ahụ, Merodak-Baladan, nwa Baladan, bụ eze Babilọn zigaara Hezekaya akwụkwọ ozi ekele na onyinye, nʼihi na ọ nụrụ na Hezekaya rịara ọrịa.
At that time Berodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent a letter and a present unto Hezekiah; for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all his treasure-house, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures; there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.
14 Mgbe ahụ, Aịzaya onye amụma jekwuru eze Hezekaya jụọ ya sị, “Gịnị ka ndị ikom ndị ahụ kwuru? Ebeekwa ka ha si bịakwute gị?” Hezekaya zara sị, “Ọ bụ nʼala dị anya ka ha si, ha si Babilọn.”
Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him: 'What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee?' And Hezekiah said: 'They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.'
15 Onye amụma jụrụ, “Gịnị ka ha hụrụ nʼụlọ gị?” Hezekaya zara sị, “Ihe niile nke dị nʼụlọ m ka ha hụrụ. Ọ dịghị ihe niile dị nʼụlọakụ m nke m na-egosighị ha.”
And he said: 'What have they seen in thy house?' And Hezekiah answered: 'All that is in my house have they seen; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.'
16 Mgbe ahụ, Aịzaya sịrị Hezekaya, “Gee ntị nụrụ okwu Onyenwe anyị.
And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah: 'Hear the word of the LORD.
17 Lee, oge na-abịa mgbe a ga-eburu ihe niile dị nʼụlọeze gị, na ihe niile nke nna nna gị ha debere nʼụlọakụ ruo taa, buru ha bulaa Babilọn. Ọ dịkwaghị ihe ga-afọdụ, otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru.
Behold, the days come, that all that is in thy house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
18 A ga-ebupụ ụfọdụ nʼime ụmụ gị, ndị bụ ahụ na ọbara gị, ndị a ga-amụtara gị, buru ha pụọ nʼebe dị anya, ha ga-abụ ndị onozi nʼụlọeze nke eze Babilọn.”
And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, whom thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be officers in the palace of the king of Babylon.'
19 Hezekaya zaghachiri, “Okwu Onyenwe anyị nke i kwuru dị mma.” Nʼihi na o chere nʼobi ya sị, “Ọ bụ na udo na nchekwa agaghị adị nʼoge ndụ m?”
Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah: 'Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken.' He said moreover: 'Is it not so, if peace and truth shall be in my days?'
20 Ma banyere ihe ndị ọzọ niile mere nʼoge ọchịchị Hezekaya, ọrụ niile ọ rụrụ, tinyere ọdọ mmiri o gwuru, na olulu ọwa mmiri na-aga o gwuru, nke o ji webata mmiri nʼime obodo, ọ bụ na e deghị ha nʼakwụkwọ akụkọ ihe mere nʼoge ndị eze Juda?
Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
21 Hezekaya sooro ndị nna nna ya dinaa nʼọnwụ. Manase nwa ya ghọrọ eze nʼọnọdụ ya.
And Hezekiah slept with his fathers; and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
