< 2 Ndị Kọrint 9 >
1 Ọ dịghị mkpa idere unu akwụkwọ banyere ozi nke ndị nsọ.
Now concerning the relief intended for the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
2 Amaara m na unu jikeere inyere ha aka, dịka m nyara isi nye ndị Masidonia banyere unu. Nʼihi na agwara m ha na unu ndị bi na Akaịa ejikerelarị inyere ha aka kemgbe afọ gara aga. Ọ bụkwa ịnụ ọkụ nʼobi unu kwaliri obi ha, ime ihe ha mere.
for I know your readiness of mind, which I boast of concerning you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath excited many.
3 Ugbu a, ana m ezitere unu ụmụnna anyị ndị a ka e mee ka ịnya isi nke m nyara banyere unu ghara ịbụ okwu efu. Ma dịka m gwara ha na unu ejikerela, achọrọ m ka unu jikere nye ha ihe unu chọrọ inye.
But I have sent the brethren, that our boasting of you might not become vain in this respect, but that ye might be ready, as I had said:
4 Nʼihi na ọ bụrụ na ndị Masidonia esoro m bịa hụ na unu ejikeghị ejike, ebe anyị na-anya isi na unu ejikerela, ọ ga-abụrụ m ihe ihere, bụkwara unu ihe ihere, ebe anyị nwere ntụkwasị obi na unu ga-anọ na njikere.
least if the Macedonians should come with me, and find you unprepared, we should be ashamed (not to say you also) in this confident boasting.
Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go first to you, and before our coming to collect your bounty beforementioned, that it may be ready, as of munificence, and not of force.
6 Isi okwu bụ nke a, Onye ọbụla na-akụ mkpụrụ ntakịrị, ga-aghọtakwa nke nta, ma onye ahụ na-akụ mkpụrụ buru ibu ga-aghọtakwa mkpụrụ hiri nne.
But this I say, He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully shall also reap bountifully.
7 Ka onye ọbụla nye dịka o buru ụzọ kpebie nʼime obi ya inye. Ka ọ ghara inye nʼihi na mmadụ kwagidere ya, maọbụ inye nʼihi na ndị ọzọ na-enye, nʼihi na Chineke hụrụ ndị ji obi ụtọ nye onyinye ha nʼanya.
Let every one give as he chuses in his own heart; not with reluctance, or constraint: for God loveth a chearful giver.
8 Chineke nwere ike inye unu karịa ihe na-akpa unu, ka unu na-enwezukwa ihe unu chọrọ mgbe niile nʼoge niile. Mgbe ahụ, unu ga-enwezukwa ihe niile unu ji arụ ọrụ ọma.
And God is able to make all grace abound towards you; that having always all sufficiency in every thing, ye may abound in every good work:
9 Dịka e dere ya, “Ọ gbasara onyinye ya ebe niile nye ndị ogbenye; ezi omume ya na-adịgidekwa ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.” (aiōn )
(as it is written, "He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor, his righteousness continueth for ever." (aiōn )
10 Ma onye ahụ na-enye onye ọrụ ubi mkpụrụ nke ọ na-agha nʼubi ya, na-enyekwa mmadụ nri ọ ga-eri, ọ ga-enyekwa unu ihe niile dị unu mkpa, meekwa ka ụlọakụ unu jupụta na mkpụrụ. Ọ ga-emekwa ka mkpụrụ ezi omume unu baa ụba.
And may He, who supplieth seed to the sower, and giveth bread for food, furnish and multiply your sowing, and increase the fruits of your bounty: )
11 Ọ ga-emekwa ka unu bụrụ ndị ọgaranya nʼụzọ niile, ka unu nwee ihe ga-ezuru unu na nke unu ga-enye ndị ọzọ mgbe niile. Site nʼaka anyị, afọ ofufu unu ga-enye Chineke ekele nʼihi inyeaka unu nyere ha.
being in every thing enriched to all liberality, which produceth through us thanksgiving to God.
12 Nʼihi na ije ozi nke ife ofufe a abụghị naanị nke igboro ndị nsọ mkpa ha, kama ọ bụkwa nke na-eme ka ekele ọtụtụ ndị mmadụ na-enye Chineke babiga ụba oke.
For the ministration of this service not only supplieth the wants of the saints, but aboundeth also, through many thanksgivings, to the glory of God.
13 Nʼihi ije ozi a, nke unu sitere na ya gosi onwe unu dịka ndị kwesiri, ndị ọzọ ga-eto Chineke nʼihi irube isi unu nke dakọtara na nkwupụta unu banyere oziọma nke Kraịst, ya na onyinye afọ ofufu nke unu na-eme ka ha na ndị ọzọ niile soro unu nwekọ.
(While from the experience of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and the liberality of your communication to them, and to all men.)
14 Nke a ga-eme nʼekpere ha maka unu, ha ga-eji obi ha niile rịọọ arịrịọ, nʼihi ịdị ukwu nke amara Chineke dị nʼime unu.
And in their prayer for you, who long after you because of the transcendent grace of God towards you.
15 Ekele dịrị Chineke nʼihi onyinye ya dị ukwuu nke ọnụ na-apụghị ịkọ.
Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
