< 2 Ndị Kọrint 4 >
1 Ya mere, ebe anyị natara ije ozi a site nʼebere Chineke, ike adịghị agwụ anyị nʼobi.
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2 Anyị ahapụla omume nzuzo niile na-eweta ihere. Anyị ahapụla ụzọ aghụghọ niile, maọbụ iji okwu Chineke na-atụ asị. Kama site nʼikwupụta eziokwu ahụ ka ndị mmadụ were ezi akọnuche ha mata ụdị mmadụ anyị bụ nʼihu Chineke.
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3 Ma a sịkwa na oziọma nke anyị na-ekwusa dịka ihe e zoro ezo, ọ bụ ihe e zoro ezo nye ndị ahụ na-ala nʼiyi.
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 Nʼebe ha nọ, chi nke ụwa a ekpuchiela uche ndị na-ekweghị ekwe iji gbochie ha ịhụ ìhè nke oziọma ahụ na-ezipụta ebube Kraịst, onye dị nʼụdị Chineke nʼonwe ya. (aiōn )
In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine to them.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 Nʼihi na ọ bụ Chineke ahụ sịrị, ka ìhè si nʼọchịchịrị chawapụta; bụkwa onye mere ka ìhè ya nwuwa nʼime obi anyị. Nke a ka o mere iji wetara anyị ìhè amamihe nke ebube Chineke nʼihu Kraịst.
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 Anyị onwe anyị bụ ndị natara akụ nke dị oke ọnụahịa dị nʼime ite ụrọ, iji gosi na ike kacha elu si nʼaka Chineke, ọ bụghị nʼaka anyị.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 A na-akpagbu anyị nʼakụkụ niile, ma adịghị emeri anyị. Mgbe ụfọdụ, anyị nọ na mgbagwoju anya ma anyị adịghị ada mba.
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 A na-esogbu anyị, ma adịghị ahapụ naanị anyị; mgbe ụfọdụ, a na-akụtu anyị nʼala ma adịghị ala anyị nʼiyi.
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Ọtụtụ mgbe, anyị na-ebugharị nʼahụ anyị ọnwụ Jisọs, ka ndụ nke Jisọs nwekwa ike pụta ìhè nʼahụ anyị.
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11 Mgbe ọbụla anyị dị ndụ, anyị nọ nʼọnwụ nʼihi Jisọs, ka ndụ Jisọs nwee ike pụta ìhè nʼahụ anyị pụrụ ịnwụ anwụ.
For we which live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12 Nke a pụtara na ọnwụ na-arụsị ọrụ ike nʼime anyị, ma na ndụ na-arụ ọrụ nʼime unu.
So then death works in us, but life in you.
13 Ebe ọ bụ na anyị nwere otu mmụọ nke okwukwe ahụ, dịka e si dee nʼakwụkwọ nsọ, “Ekweere m, ya mere m ji kwuo.” Anyị onwe anyị kwekwara, nʼihi nke a mere anyị ji na-ekwu,
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14 ma anyị maara na onye mere ka Onyenwe anyị Jisọs si nʼọnwụ bilie, ga-emekwa ka anyị soro Jisọs si nʼọnwụ bilie, ma kpọbatakwa anyị na unu nʼihu ya.
Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 Ihe ndị a niile bụ maka nʼihi unu, ka ọ ga-abụ amara na-abawanye irute ọtụtụ mmadụ aka, ka o nwee ike na-abawanye inye ekele maka otuto nke Chineke.
For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 Ọ bụ nke a mere ike adịghị agwụ anyị nʼobi. Ọ bụ ezie na anụ ahụ anyị na-anwụ anwụ, ma a na-agba mmụọ anyị ume kwa ụbọchị.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 Nwantịntị ahụhụ nke anyị na-ata ugbu a, nke na-adị nwa oge, na-akwadoro anyị otuto ebighị ebi dị ukwuu. (aiōnios )
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; (aiōnios )
18 Nʼihi na anyị adịghị ele ihe anya nwere ike ịhụ, kama anyị na-ele anya nʼihe ahụ anya na-adịghị ahụ. Nʼihi na ihe ahụ anya na-ahụ na-adị naanị nwa oge, ma ihe ahụ anya na-adịghị ahụ na-adị ruo mgbe ebighị ebi. (aiōnios )
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (aiōnios )
