< 2 Ihe E Mere 5 >
1 Mgbe a rụzuru ọrụ niile nke eze Solomọn nwere ịrụ maka ụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị ahụ, o webatara ihe niile Devid bụ nna ya doro nsọ nʼime ya, ya bụ ọlaọcha, ọlaedo na ngwongwo ndị ọzọ niile. O tinyere ha nʼụlọakụ dị nʼụlọnsọ Chineke.
Then Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had vowed, the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels, which he placed in the treasuries of the house of God.
2 Mgbe ahụ, Solomọn kpọkọtara ndị okenye Izrel niile, na ndịisi ebo Izrel niile, na ndịisi ezinaụlọ Izrel niile na Jerusalem, maka ị site na Zayọn, bụ obodo Devid bugota igbe ọgbụgba ndụ Onyenwe anyị.
After this, he gathered together those greater by birth of Israel, and all the leaders of the tribes, and the heads of the families, from the sons of Israel, to Jerusalem, so that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the City of David, which is Zion.
3 Ndị Izrel niile gbakọtara bịakwute eze nʼoge a na-eme mmemme nʼọnwa Etanim, nke bụ ọnwa asaa nʼafọ.
And so, all the men of Israel went to the king, on the solemn day of the seventh month.
4 Mgbe ndị okenye Izrel niile bịarutere, ndị Livayị buliri igbe ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ.
And when all the elders of Israel had arrived, the Levites carried the ark,
5 Ha bugotara igbe ọgbụgba ndụ Onyenwe anyị, ya na ụlọ nzute, na ngwongwo niile dị nsọ dị nʼime ya. Ndị nchụaja bụ ndị Livayị buliri ha elu.
and they brought it in, along with all the equipment of the tabernacle. Then too, the priests with the Levites carried the vessels of the sanctuary, which were in the tabernacle.
6 Eze Solomọn na ọgbakọ Izrel niile, bụ ndị zukọtara nʼebe ọ nọ, nọ nʼihu igbe ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ, na-achụ aja ọtụtụ atụrụ na ọtụtụ ehi nke a na-apụghị ịgụta ọnụ maọbụ gbakọta ọnụọgụgụ ha nʼihi ịba ụba.
Now king Solomon, and the entire assembly of Israel, and all who had gathered together before the ark, were immolating rams and oxen without any number, for so great was the multitude of the victims.
7 Ndị nchụaja bubatara igbe ọgbụgba ndụ Onyenwe anyị ahụ nʼime ime ụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ, nʼime Ebe Kachasị Nsọ, dọba ya nʼokpuru nku cherubim ahụ.
And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, that is, to the oracle of the temple, in the Holy of Holies, under the wings of the cherubim,
8 Cherubim ndị ahụ gbasara nku ha nʼelu igbe ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ, kpuchie ya na okporo osisi ndị ahụ e ji ebu ya.
so that the cherubim extended their wings over the place where the ark was positioned, and they covered the ark itself and its bars.
9 Okporo osisi ndị a dị oke ogologo, na isi ha sitere nʼigbe ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ na-apụta, na e nwere ike ị site nʼihu ime ime ebe nsọ ahụ hụ ha anya, ma onye na-anọghị nʼEbe Nsọ ahụ adịghị ahụ ha. Ha ka dịkwa nʼebe ahụ ruo taa
But concerning the bars by which the ark was carried, because they were a little longer, the ends were able to be seen before the oracle. Yet truly, if anyone were a little ways toward the exterior, he would not be able to see them. And so the ark has been in that place, even to the present day.
10 O nweghị ihe dị nʼime igbe ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ, karịakwa mbadamba nkume abụọ ahụ Mosis tinyere nʼime ya nʼugwu Horeb, nʼebe Onyenwe anyị na ụmụ Izrel gbara ndụ, mgbe ha si nʼala Ijipt pụta.
And there was nothing else in the ark, except the two tablets, which Moses had placed there at Horeb when the Lord gave the law to the sons of Israel, at the departure from Egypt.
11 Mgbe ndị nchụaja sitere nʼEbe Nsọ Kachasị Ebe Nsọ pụta, nʼihi na ndị nchụaja ahụ niile doro onwe ha nsọ nʼagbanyeghị usuu nke onye ọbụla nʼime ha si pụta.
And having gone out from the Sanctuary, the priests (for all the priests who were able to be found there were sanctified, and in that time the turns and orders of the ministries had not yet been divided among them)
with both the Levites and the singing men, that is, those who were under Asaph, and those who were under Heman, and those who were under Jeduthun, with their sons and brothers, clothed in fine linen, sounded out with cymbals, and psalteries, and harps, standing toward the eastern side of the altar. And with them were one hundred twenty priests, sounding out with trumpets.
13 Ndị ọbụ abụ ahụ na ndị na-afụ opi jikọrọ onwe ha ọnụ were otu olu bụkuo Onyenwe anyị abụ ekele na otuto. Ndị na-afụ opi, na ndị na-akụ ọla na-ada ụda, na ndị ji ngwa egwu ndị ọzọ sonyeere ha, welie olu ha elu too Onyenwe anyị nʼabụ sị: “Nʼihi na Ọ dị mma Ịhụnanya ya na-adị ruo ebighị ebi.” Mgbe ahụ igwe ojii jupụtara nʼụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị,
And when they all sounded out together, with trumpets, and voice, and cymbals, and pipes, and with various kinds of musical instruments, lifting their voice on high, the sound was heard from far away, so that when they had begun to praise the Lord, and to say, “Confess to the Lord, for he is good; for his mercy is eternal,” the house of God was filled with a cloud.
14 nke mere na ndị nchụaja enwekwaghị ike jee ozi ha, nʼihi igwe ojii ahụ, nʼihi na ebube Onyenwe anyị jupụtara nʼime ụlọnsọ Chineke.
Neither were the priests able to stand and to minister, because of the cloud. For the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
