However, it took Solomon thirteen years to finish building the whole of his palace.
Ahịrị ogidi ndị a dịkwa anọ.
He built the House of the Forest of Lebanon— a hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high. There were four rows of cedar pillars that supported cedar beams.
3 Ọ bụkwa osisi sida ka e ji machie elu ụlọ ahụ. A kụkwasịrị osisi ndị a nʼelu osisi sida ukwu ndị a a wara awa, ndị e mere ka ha nọkwasị nʼogidi ndị ahụ.
The cedar roof of the house was on top of the beams that rested on the pillars. There were forty-five beams, fifteen in each row.
4 Oghereikuku ya dịkwa nʼụzọ ahịrị atọ, otu nʼelu ibe ya. E mere ka oghereikuku ndị dị nʼelu nʼotu akụkụ chee oghereikuku ndị dị nʼakụkụ nke ọzọ ihu.
The windows were placed high up, in three rows facing each other.
All the doorways and door casings had rectangular frames, the openings facing each other in sets of three.
He also had the Hall of Columns made—forty cubits long and thirty cubits wide. It had a porch in front, its canopy also supported by columns.
7 E nwekwara ọnụ ụlọ ọzọ a na-akpọ, Ụlọ Ocheeze, maọbụ Ụlọ Ikpe ziri ezi ebe Solomọn na-anọ ekpe ikpe. E ji osisi sida machie ahụ ya niile, site nʼala ruo nʼelu.
The throne room where he sat as judge was called the Hall of Justice, lined with cedar panels from floor to ceiling.
8 Ụlọ obibi Solomọn dịkwa nʼogige dị nʼazụ ụlọ ikpe a. E wukwara ya dịka e si wuo ụlọ ndị ọzọ. Solomọn wukwaara nwunye ya ụlọ yiri nke ya. Nwanyị a bụ nwa Fero, eze ndị Ijipt, nke Solomọn na-alụ.
Solomon's own palace where he lived was in a courtyard behind the porch, made in a similar way to the Temple. He also had a palace made for Pharaoh's daughter, whom he'd married.
All these buildings were built using stone blocks that were expensive to produce. They were cut to size and trimmed with saws on the inside and outside. These stones were used from the foundation to the eaves, from the outside of the building all the way to the great courtyard.
10 Nkume e ji tọọ ntọala ụlọ ndị a bụ nkume buru ibu, ndị dị ezi mma. Ụfọdụ nʼime nkume ndị a ruru mita anọ na ọkara nʼogologo, ndị ọzọ dị mita atọ na ụma isii.
The foundations were laid with very large top-quality stones, between eight and ten cubits long.
11 Nʼelu nkume ndị a ka e doro nkume ndị ọzọ, ndị dị ezi mma, a waziri awazi dịka ọtụtụ si dị. Emesịa, e dokwara osisi sida nʼelu ha.
On these were placed top-quality stones, cut to size, along with cedar timber.
12 Ogige ukwu ahụ bụ nke eji ahịrị nkume atọ a wara awa dịkwasịrị nʼelu ibe ya gbaa gburugburu, otu ahịrị bụ nke sida a wara awa dịka ọ dị nʼime ime ogige ụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị ahụ, ya na mpụta ọnụ ụlọ ya.
Around the great courtyard, the inner courtyard, and the porch of the Lord's Temple were three courses of dressed stone and a course of cedar beams.
13 Eze Solomọn zigara ozi na Taịa, ka a kpọta Huram.
King Solomon sent for Hiram from Tyre.
14 Nne Huram bụ nwanyị si nʼebo Naftalị nke di ya nwụrụ anwụ, ma nna ya bụ onye Taịa, onye maara ǹka dị nʼịkpụ bronz. Huram jupụtara nʼamamihe na nghọta nʼihe ọmụma ịrụ ọrụ ọbụla metụtara bronz. Ọ bịakwutere eze bụ Solomọn, rụọkwa ọrụ niile enyere ya ịrụ.
He was the son of a widow from the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was from Tyre, a craftsman who worked in bronze. Hiram had great expertise, understanding and being familiar with all kinds of bronze work. He came to King Solomon and carried out all that the king required.
He cast two columns in bronze. They were both eighteen cubits high and twelve cubits in circumference.
16 Ọ kpụkwara ihe ọkpụkpụ bronz, nke isi ya yiri ọnụ ite mmiri. A dọkwasịrị ha nʼelu ogidi ọla abụọ ahụ. Otu nʼime ihe ọkpụkpụ bronz abụọ ndị a dị ihe ruru mita abụọ na ụma atọ nʼogologo.
He also cast two capitals in bronze to place on top of the columns. Each capital was five cubits high.
17 E nwekwara ihe e ji chọọ ha mma. Ọ bụ ọla akpara akpa, nke yiri ụdọ a tụrụ atụ ka e ji chọọ ha mma. Asaa dị nʼotu ihe ọkpụkpụ ọla.
He made a network of lattice of interlinked chains for both capitals, seven for each one.
18 Ọ kpụrụ ihe yiri mkpụrụ pomegranet, nke dị nʼahịrị abụọ, nke o ji gbaa ihe ịchọ mma ndị ahụ gburugburu, maka iji ha chọọ ihe ọkpụkpụ ọla ndị ahụ dị nʼelu ogidi ndị ahụ mma. O mere otu ihe a maka ihe ọkpụkpụ ọla ọbụla.
Around the lattice network he made two rows of ornamental pomegranates to cover the capitals on the top of both the columns.
19 Ihe ọkpụkpụ ọla ndị dị nʼelu ogidi dị na mgbe ụlọ ka o mere ka ha yie okoko osisi lili. Ịdị elu ha ruru otu mita na ụma asatọ.
The capitals placed on top of columns in the porch were in the shape of lilies, four cubits high.
20 Nʼelu ihe ọkpụkpụ ọla dị nʼogidi abụọ ahụ, nʼelu elu ha, ebe ahụ yiri ọnụ ite mmiri nke dị nʼakụkụ ihe ọkpụkpụ ọla ahụ, e nwere ihe yiri narị mkpụrụ pomegranet abụọ e doro nʼahịrị nʼahịrị gburugburu ha.
On the capitals of both columns were the two hundred pomegranates in rows that encircled them, just above the rounded part that was next to the chain network.
He erected the columns at the entrance porch of the Temple. The southern column he named Jachin, and the northern column he named Boaz.
22 Ihe ọkpụkpụ ọla dị nʼelu ogidi ndị a bụ nke yiri okoko osisi lili. Ọ bụ nʼụzọ dị otu a ka e si rụzuo ọrụ niile metụtara ogidi ndị ahụ.
The capitals on the columns were in the shape of lilies. And so the work on the columns was finished.
23 O mekwara Oke osimiri nke ọla awụrụ awụ, nke dị gburugburu nʼụdịdị. Ọtụtụ ya bụ mita abụọ na ụma atọ nʼogologo, dịkwa mita ise na ụma atọ, site nʼotu ọnụ ruo nʼọnụ nke ọzọ. Ọ bụ eriri e ji atụ ihe ruru ihe dịka mita iri na anọ ka e ji tụọ ya gburugburu.
Then he made the Sea of cast metal. Its shape was circular, and measured ten cubits from edge to edge, five cubits in height, and thirty cubits in circumference.
Ọba ndị a dị nʼahịrị abụọ, awụkọtara ha na Oke osimiri ahụ otu mgbe.
Below the edge it was decorated with ornamental gourds that encircled it, ten per cubit all the way around. They were in two rows cast as one piece with the Sea.
The Sea stood on twelve metal bulls. Three faced to the north, three to the west, three to the south, and three to the east. The Sea was placed on them, with their rears toward the center.
It was as thick as the width of a hand, and its edge was like the flared edge of a cup or a lily flower. It held two thousand baths.
27 O mekwara ihe ndọkwasị bronz iri, nke e nwere ike ịkpụgharị akpụgharị. Mita abụọ ka ogologo nke otu ihe ndọkwasị ọbụla dị, mita abụọ ka obosara ya dịkwa; ịdị elu ya dị otu mita na ọkara.
He also made ten carts to carry basins. The carts measured four cubits long, four cubits wide, and three cubits high.
28 Ihe ndọkwasị ahụ nwere ihe e ji jikọta ya dị nʼetiti ya. Otu a ka e si mee ihe ndọkwasị ahụ.
This is how they were put together: side panels were attached to uprights.
29 Nʼelu ihe njikọta ahụ ka a wụrụ oyiyi dị iche iche, dịka ọdụm, na oke ehi, na ndị mmụọ ozi cherubim nwere nku. Nʼelu, na nʼokpuru ọdụm, na oke ehi ndị ahụ, a wụkwara ahịhịa na okoko osisi dị iche iche.
Both the side panels and the uprights were decorated with lions, bulls, and cherubim. Above and below the lions and the bulls were decorative wreaths.
30 Otu ihe ndọkwasị ọbụla nwere ụkwụ bronz anọ dị gburugburu, nweekwa okporo bronz ebe ụkwụ ndị a na-agbagharị. Nʼakụkụ anọ nke ihe ndọkwasị ndị a, a rụnyere ebe a na-adọkwasị efere. E ji oyiyi okoko osisi na ahịhịa chọọ ihe ndị a mma.
Each cart had four bronze wheels with bronze axles. A basin rested on four supports that had decorative wreaths on each side.
31 Nʼime ihe ndọkwasị ahụ, e nwere oghere nke nwere ọnụ dị gburugburu nke ịdị omimi ya bụ sentimita iri anọ na ise. Oghere a dị gburugburu, nwee ebe ndọkwasị nʼokpuru ya nke dị sentimita iri isii na asatọ nʼọtụtụ. Oyiyi ihe apịrị apị dịkwa gburugburu ọnụ ya. Ihe njikọta ha niile nwere akụkụ anọ nke ha nʼotu, ha adịghị gburugburu.
At the top of each cart was a round opening like a pedestal to hold the basin. The opening was one cubit deep, and one and a half cubits wide. The opening had carvings around it. The panels of the cart were square, not round.
32 A na-adọkpụgharị ihe ndọkwasị a nʼụkwụ anọ o nwere. A dụnyekọtakwara ụkwụ anọ ndị a nʼime okporo ọla e mekọtara ya na ihe ndọkwasị ahụ. Ịdị elu nke ụkwụ ọbụla bụ iri sentimita isii na asatọ.
The four wheels were under the panels, and the axles of the wheels were attached to the cart. Each wheel measured one and a half cubits in diameter.
33 E mekwara ụkwụ ndị a dịka ụkwụ ụgbọala nke ịnyịnya na-adọkpụ.
The wheels were made in the same way as chariot wheels; their axles, rims, spokes, and hubs were all made by casting.
34 Ụkwụ ọla nta anọ dịkwa nʼokpuru ihe ndọkwasị ahụ, nʼakụkụ ọbụla. A wụkọtakwara ha na ihe ndọkwasị ahụ.
Each cart had four handles, one on each corner, made as part of the stand.
35 E nwere ihe a magidere gburugburu nʼelu ihe ndọkwasị ọbụla, nke omimi ya dị iri sentimita abụọ na ụma atọ. Ọla a, na ụkwụ ya, ka a wụkọtara na ihe ndọkwasị ahụ otu mgbe.
There was a ring on the top of the cart a half cubit wide. The supports and panels were cast as one piece with the top of the cart.
36 Ebe ọbụla ohere dị, o gbunyere oyiyi cherubim nwere nku, na oyiyi ọdụm, na oyiyi osisi nkwụ, nʼahụ ibo ọla ahụ e mere ka ọ dịrị gburugburu elu ihe ndọkwasị ọla ahụ.
He had designs of cherubim, lions, and palm trees engraved on the panels, supports, and frame, wherever there was space, with decorative wreaths all around.
37 Ihe ndọkwasị ọla iri ndị ahụ ha otu. Ha yikwara ibe ha, nʼihi na e mere ka ha nwee otu ụdị.
This is how he made the ten carts, with the same casts, size, and shape.
38 Huram jikwa bronz kpụọ efere ịsa ihe iri. Ogbu efere ọbụla dị mita abụọ na otu ụma, otu efere maka ihe ndọkwasị ọbụla. Mmiri na-eju otu nʼime ha bụ narị galọọnụ mmiri abụọ na iri anọ.
Then he made ten bronze basins. Each one held forty baths and measured four cubits across, one basin for each of the ten carts.
39 Ọ dọnyere ihe ndọkwasị ọla ise nʼakụkụ ndịda ụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ, dọnyekwa ihe ndọkwasị ọla ise nke ọzọ nʼakụkụ ugwu. Ọ dọbara ihe ichenye mmiri ukwu ahụ nʼakụkụ ndịda, nʼihu ọwụwa anyanwụ nke ụlọnsọ ahụ, nʼebe chere ihu na ndịda.
He placed five carts on the south side of the Temple and five on the north side. He placed the Sea on the south side, by the southeast corner of the Temple.
40 Ọ kpụkwara ite dị iche iche, shọvel niile, na efere ịkwọsa mmiri niile. Nʼikpeazụ, ọ rụchara ọrụ niile dị nʼụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị, nke eze Solomọn tinyere ya nʼaka ịrụ.
He also made the pots, shovels, and bowls. So Hiram finished making everything required by King Solomon for the Temple of the Lord:
41 Ogidi abụọ ahụ; ihe ọkpụkpụ abụọ dịka efere dị nʼelu ogidi abụọ ahụ; ihe ọkpụkpụ yiri ụdọ a tụrụ atụ nke e ji chọọ ihe ọkpụkpụ abụọ ahụ dịka efere mma.
the two columns; the two capitals shaped like bowls on top the columns; the two chain networks that covered the bowls of the capitals on top of the columns;
42 Narị anọ nke mkpụrụ pomegranet a kpụrụ akpụ maka ahịrị ihe abụọ ahụ a kpụrụ akpụ, ya bụ, ahịrị pomegranet abụọ nʼihi otu ihe ọkpụkpụ, iji chọọ ihe ọkpụkpụ ahụ yiri efere dị nʼisi elu ogidi ahụ mma.
the four hundred ornamental pomegranates for the chain networks (in two rows for the chain networks that covered the capitals on top of the columns);
43 Ihe ndọkwasị iri na efere ịsa mmiri iri nke dọkwasịrị nʼelu ha;

and the pots, shovels, and bowls. Everything that Hiram made for King Solomon in the Temple of the Lord was made of polished bronze.
46 Ọ bụ nʼala ụrọ, nʼobosara ala Jọdan, nʼetiti Sukọt na Zaretan ka eze mere ka a nọrọ kpụọ ihe ndị a.
The king had them cast in molds made of clay in the Jordan valley between Succoth and Zarethan.
47 Ma Solomọn atụghị ihe ndị a niile a kpụrụ nʼihe ọtụtụ, nʼihi na ha dị ọtụtụ nʼọnụọgụgụ, achọpụtaghịkwa ịdị arọ nke bronz ahụ.
Solomon did not weigh anything that had been made because there was just so much—the weight of bronze used could not be measured.
48 Solomọn mekwara ngwongwo niile dị nʼime ụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị, ya bụ: ebe ịchụ aja e ji ọlaedo kpụọ, tebul ọlaedo nke a dọkwasịrị achịcha nke iche nʼIhu Onyenwe anyị.
Solomon also had made all the items for the Temple of the Lord: the golden altar; the golden table where the Bread of the Presence was placed;
49 E jikwa ọlaedo a nụchara anụcha kpụọ ihe ịdọkwasị oriọna, ise nʼakụkụ aka nri, ise nʼakụkụ aka ekpe, nʼihu ime ime ebe nsọ; tinyere ihe ịchọ mma oyiyi okoko osisi, na oriọna niile, na ihe ịgụta ihe niile;
the lampstands made of pure gold that stood in front of the inner sanctuary, five on the right and five on the left; the flowers, lamps, and tongs that were all made of pure gold;
50 na efere ọlaedo a nụchara anụcha dị iche iche, na ihe ịkpakepụ ọkụ niile, na efere ịkwọsa mmiri, na ngaji na ihe ịgụ ọkụ; na ihe ikonye ibo nʼihi ibo ọnụụlọ ndị dị nʼime ime, bụ Ebe Kachasị Nsọ, nakwa ibo ndị dị nʼọnụ ụzọ ụlọ ezumezu nke ụlọnsọ ukwu.
the basins, wick trimmers, bowls, ladles, and censers that again were all made of pure gold; and the gold hinges for the doors of the inner sanctuary, the Most Holy Place, in addition to the doors of the main hall of the Temple.
51 Mgbe a rụzuru ọrụ niile nke eze Solomọn nwere ịrụ maka ụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị ahụ, o webatara ihe niile Devid bụ nna ya doro nsọ nʼime ya, ya bụ ọlaọcha, ọlaedo na ngwongwo ndị ọzọ niile. O tinyere ha nʼụlọakụ dị nʼụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị.
In this way all King Solomon's work for the Temple of the Lord was completed. Then Solomon brought in the items his father David had dedicated, the special objects made of silver, the gold, and the Temple furnishings, and he placed them in the treasuries of the Temple of the Lord.
