< 1 Ndị Kọrint 4 >

1 Achọrọ m ka unu na-ele anyị anya dịka ndị na-ejere Kraịst ozi, ndị e nyefere ihe omimi Chineke nʼaka.
Let us be judged as servants of Christ, and as those who are responsible for the secret things of God.
2 Ma ihe dị mkpa bụ na o kwesiri ka ndị na-elekọta ihe ọbụla bụrụ ndị kwesiri ntụkwasị obi.
And it is right for such servants to be safe persons.
3 Anaghị m echegbu onwe m banyere ihe unu na-eche gbasara m maọbụ ihe a na-ekpe nʼụlọikpe nke mmadụ. Nʼezie, anaghị m ekpekwa onwe m ikpe.
But it is a small thing to me that I am judged by you or by man's judging; I am not even a judge of myself.
4 O doro m anya na akọnuche m adịghị ama m ikpe, ma nke a egosighị na m bụ onye ikpe na-amaghị. Ọ bụ Onyenwe anyị naanị ka ọ dịrị ikpe m ikpe.
For I am not conscious of any wrong in myself; but this does not make me clear, for it is the Lord who is my judge.
5 Ya mere, unu ekpela ikpe tupu oge ya eruo, cherenụ ruo mgbe Onyenwe anyị nʼonwe ya ga-abịa. Ọ ga-eme ka ihe niile zoro ezo nʼọchịchịrị pụta ìhè. Ọ ga-agbakwa ọchịchọ nzuzo niile nke dị nʼobi nʼanwụ. Mgbe ahụ, onye ọbụla nʼotu nʼotu ga-anatakwa otuto ruuru ya site nʼaka Chineke.
For this reason let there be no judging before the time, till the Lord comes, who will make clear the secret things of the dark, and the designs of the heart; and then will every man have his praise from God.
6 Ugbu a ụmụnna m ejiri m onwe m na Apọlọs mara unu atụ maka ọdịmma nke unu, ka unu nwee ike isite nʼaka anyị mụta ihe site nʼihe ahụ e dere bụ nke na-asị, “Unu agafekwala ihe e dere nʼakwụkwọ nsọ.” Ka onye ọbụla nʼime unu hapụ iji otu onye nyaa isi ma leda ndị ọzọ anya.
My brothers, it is because of you that I have taken Apollos and myself as examples of these things, so that in us you might see that it is not wise to go farther than what is in the holy Writings, so that no one of you may be lifted up against his brother.
7 Onye gwara gị na ị pụrụ iche nʼetiti mmadụ ndị ọzọ? Ọ dị ihe ọbụla i nwere nke abụghị ihe ị natara anata? Ọ bụ gịnị ka i nwere nke ị na-anataghị anata? Ma ọ bụrụ na i natara ya, gịnị mere i ji anya isi dịka a ga-asị na ị nataghị ya anata?
For who made you better than your brother? or what have you that has not been given to you? but if it has been given to you, what cause have you for pride, as if it had not been given to you?
8 Ma ugbu a, ihe niile zuru unu oke. Ugbu a, unu abụrụkwala ndị ọgaranya. Unu abụrụla eze ma anyị esoghị unu. Nʼezie, ọ gaara atọ m ụtọ ma a sị na unu anọrọla nʼocheeze unu, ka anyị nwe ike soro unu bụrụ eze.
For even now you are full, even now you have wealth, you have been made kings without us: truly, I would be glad if you were kings, so that we might be kings with you.
9 Ọ na-adị m nnọọ ka Chineke o weere anyị bụ ndị ozi mee anyị ndị dịkarịsịrị ala, ndị a na-echeta naanị mgbe ihe niile na-agwụsị agwụsị, dịka ndị a mara ikpe ọnwụ. Nʼihi na-akpọpụtara anyị nʼihu ọha mmadụ mee anyị ihe nlere anya nye ụmụ mmadụ na ndị mmụọ ozi.
For it seems to me that God has put us the Apostles last of all, as men whose fate is death: for we are put on view to the world, and to angels, and to men.
10 Anyị aghọọla ndị nzuzu nʼihi Kraịst, ma unu onwe unu bụ ndị maara ihe nʼime Kraịst. Anyị bụ ndị na-adịghị ike ma unu dị ike. Anyị bụ ndị a jụrụ ajụ na ndị a na-eleda anya, ma unu bụ ndị a na-asọpụrụ.
We are made to seem foolish for Christ, but you are wise in Christ; we are feeble, but you are strong; you have glory, but we have shame.
11 Tutu ruo ugbu a, anyị na-ebu ọnụ nọrọkwa nʼakpịrị ịkpọ nkụ. Anyị enweghị ezigbo uwe anyị ji achụ oyi. Ndị mmadụ na-emeso anyị mmeso ọjọọ, ma anyị enweghị ebe obibi nke aka anyị.
Even to this hour we are without food, drink, and clothing, we are given blows and have no certain resting-place;
12 Aka anyị ka anyị ji arụpụtara onwe anyị ihe anyị na-eri. Mgbe ndị mmadụ na-abụ anyị ọnụ, anyị na-agọzi ha. Mgbe ha na-ata anyị ahụhụ, anyị nọ na-enwe ndidi.
And with our hands we do the hardest work: when they give us curses we give blessings, when we undergo punishment we take it quietly;
13 Anyị na-eji okwu dị nro na-azaghachi ndị na-ekwujọ anyị. Tutu ruo ugbu a, a na-emeso anyị mmeso dịka anyị bụ unyi ndị ụwa na-azachapụ, dịka ihe a jụrụ ajụ nʼanya ndị ụwa.
When evil things are said about us we give gentle answers: we are made as the unclean things of the world, as that for which no one has any use, even till now.
14 Anaghị m edere unu ihe ndị a ka ihere mee unu, kama ana m ede ya ịdụ unu ọdụ, na ịdọ unu aka na ntị, dịka ụmụ m hụrụ nʼanya.
I am not saying these things to put you to shame, but so that, as my dear children, you may see what is right.
15 Ọ bụ ezie na unu nwere ọtụtụ ndị nche, ma unu enweghị karịa otu nna. Nʼihi na ọ bụ m bụ nna unu nʼime Kraịst Jisọs, site nʼoziọma ahụ m wetaara unu.
For even if you had ten thousand teachers in Christ, you have not more than one father: for in Christ Jesus I have given birth to you through the good news.
16 Ya mere, ana arịọ m unu, ka unu na-eṅomi ndụ m.
So my desire is that you take me as your example.
17 Nʼihi nke a, ana m ezitere unu Timoti, bụ ezi nwa m onye m hụrụ nʼanya, nke kwesiri ntụkwasị obi nʼime Onyenwe anyị. Ọ ga-echetara unu otu m si e bi ndụ nʼime Onyenwe anyị Kraịst Jisọs, dịka m na-akụzi ya nʼebe niile na nzukọ niile.
For this cause I have sent Timothy to you, who is my dear and true child in the Lord; he will make clear to you my ways in Christ, even as I am teaching everywhere in every church.
18 Ụfọdụ nʼime unu amalitela ịfụlị onwe ha elu, chee na mụ enweghị ike ịbịakwute unu ọzọ.
Now some are full of pride, as if I was not coming to you.
19 Ma site nʼike Onyenwe anyị, aga m abịa ịhụ unu anya nʼoge na-adịghị anya. Mgbe m bịara, aga m achọpụta ihe ndị ahụ na-akpa nganga pụrụ ime, ọ bụghị ihe ha nwere ike ikwu.
But I will come to you in a short time, if it is pleasing to the Lord, and I will take note, not of the word of those who are full of pride, but of the power.
20 Nʼihi na alaeze Chineke abụghị ihe okwu ọnụ kama ọ bụ ngosipụta ịdị ike.
For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.
What is your desire? is my coming to be with punishment, or is it to be in love and a gentle spirit?
