1 Ugbu a ụmụnna m, achọrọ m ka unu mata ihe gbasara onyinye nke Mmụọ Nsọ na-enye.
NOW concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 Unu matara na mgbe unu bụ ndị na-amaghị Chineke, e duru unu nʼotu ụzọ maọbụ nke ọzọ, duhie unu ụzọ iso arụsị ndị ahụ dara ogbi.
Ye know that ye were Gentiles, drawn away after the idols that are dumb, even as ye have been led.
3 Ya mere, achọrọ m ka unu ghọta nke ọma na ọ dịghị onye ọbụla na-ekwu okwu site nʼodudu Mmụọ nke Chineke, pụrụ ị sị, “Ka Jisọs bụrụ onye a bụrụ ọnụ.”
Wherefore I advertise you, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God, call Jesus anathema: and no man can say, Lord Jesus, but by the Holy Ghost.
4 Onyinye amara dị iche iche dị, ma otu Mmụọ Nsọ ahụ na-enye ha niile.
But there are diversities of gifts, though the same Spirit.
5 E nwekwara ụdị ije ozi dị iche iche, maọbụ otu Onyenwe anyị ahụ ka a na-ejere ozi.
And there are diversities of services, but the same Lord.
6 Ụdị ike dị iche iche nke eji arụ ọrụ dịkwa, ma otu Chineke ahụ na-etinye ike ndị a nʼime onye ọbụla iji jee ozi.
And there are diversities of mighty operations, but it is the same God who worketh all in all.
7 Ọ na-enyekwa onye ọbụla amara izipụta ike nke Mmụọ Nsọ maka ọdịmma mmadụ niile.
Now to every one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for usefulness.
8 Mmụọ Nsọ na-enye otu onye onyinye ikwu okwu amamihe, na-enyekwa onye ọzọ onyinye ịma ihe ọmụma, site nʼotu Mmụọ ahụ.
For to one man by the Spirit is given wise discourse; but to another speech communicative of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 Otu Mmụọ nsọ a na-enye onye ọzọ onyinye inwe okwukwe, na-enyekwa onye ọzọ onyinye inwe ike ịgwọ ọrịa.
to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing diseases by the same Spirit;
10 Onye ọzọ ka ọ na-enye onyinye ịrụ ọrụ ịtụnanya, onye ọzọ ike ibu amụma. Onye ọzọ ka ọ na-enye ike ịkọwa ụdị mmụọ dị iche iche, ma onye ọzọkwa ka ọ na-enye ike ịsụ asụsụ dị iche iche. Ma ọ na-enyekwa onye ọzọ ike ịkọwa ihe onye na-asụ asụsụ ndị a na-ekwu.
to another miraculous powers; to another prophecy; to another discernments of spirits; to another different kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 Ọ bụ otu Mmụọ ahụ na-enye onyinye ndị a niile. Ọ na-enye onye ọbụla onyinye dị iche iche dịka Mmụọ Nsọ si kpebie.
but all these things worketh that one and the same Spirit, distributing peculiar gifts to every one even as he wills.
12 Dịka ahụ anyị si nwe akụkụ dị iche iche, ma bụrụkwa otu ahụ, nʼagbanyeghị na o nwere ọtụtụ akụkụ, otu a ka anụ ahụ Kraịst dịkwa.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, but all the members of that one body, though many, are one body: so also is Christ.
For by one Spirit we all have been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free men; and we have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
14 Ahụ mmadụ abụghị naanị otu akụkụ, kama o nwere ọtụtụ akụkụ ahụ.
For the body is not one member, but many.
15 Ọ bụrụ na ụkwụ asị, “Nʼihi na-abụghị m aka, esoghị nʼahụ,” nke a agaghị egbochi ya ka ọ gharakwa ịbụ otu nʼakụkụ anụ ahụ.
If the foot should say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it, on this account, not of the body?
16 Otu a kwa, ọ bụrụ na ntị asị, “Ebe m na-abụghị anya abụghị m otu akụkụ anụ ahụ.” Okwu a kwa agaghị eme ka ntị ghara ịbụ akụkụ anụ ahụ.
And if the ear should say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it not therefore of the body?
17 Ọ bụrụ na ahụ niile bụ anya, olee ka ahụ ga-esi nụ ihe? Ọ bụrụkwa na ahụ mmadụ bụ naanị ntị ọ ga-esi aṅaa nụ isisi ihe ọbụla?
If the whole body were eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
But now hath God placed the members, every one of them in the body, as he hath chosen.
19 A sị na akụkụ niile dị nʼahụ bụ otu ihe, kedụ ebe ahụ ga-adị?
But if the whole were one member, where were the body?
20 Otu ọ dị, ọ bụ ezie na ihe dị nʼahụ dị ọtụtụ, ma ha niile bụ otu ahụ.
But now the members indeed are many, but the body one.
21 Nʼihi nke a, anya enweghị ike ịgwa aka sị, “Achọghị m gị, nʼihi na ị dịghị m mkpa.” Isi agakwaghị agwa ụkwụ sị, “Achọghị m inyeaka gị.”
Nor can the eye say to the hand, I have no need of thee: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Kama ọ bụ akụkụ ahụ anyị ndị na-esighị ike bụ ndị dị anyị mkpa karịa.
Yea, much more the members of the body, which appear to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 E e, akụkụ ndị ahụ anyị na-eche na ha adịghị mkpa ka anyị na-eji nsọpụrụ na-elekọta. Akụkụ ndị ahụ na-ekwesighị ile anya ka anyị na-enye ugwu, ma na-ekpuchi ha.
and those parts which we esteem as the more dishonourable of the body, on them we bestow more abundant honour, and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 Ma anyị adịghị esi otu a elekọta akụkụ ahụ ndị ahụ anya na-ahụ nʼụzọ pụrụ iche, nʼihi na Chineke kpachapụrụ anya mee ka akụkụ ndị ahụ dịkarịsịrị nta bụrụ nke anyị kwesiri inye nsọpụrụ karịa.
For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered together the body, giving more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
25 Nʼụzọ dị otu a, nkewa ọbụla adịghị nʼahụ mmadụ.
that there might be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 Ọ bụrụ na otu akụkụ enwe nsogbu, akụkụ ndị ọzọ ga-eketa oke na nsogbu ahụ. Ọ bụrụkwa na otu akụkụ emee ihe ga-eweta otuto ọ bụ ahụ niile na-enwe otuto ahụ.
And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; and if one member be exalted, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Ugbu a, unu niile nʼotu nʼotu bụ otu anụ ahụ Kraịst. Unu bụkwa akụkụ ahụ ya nʼotu nʼotu, bụrụkwa ndị dị mkpa nʼahụ ahụ.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 Nke a bụ ụfọdụ nʼime akụkụ dị iche iche Chineke tinyere na chọọchị; nke mbụ bụ ndị ozi, ndị amụma, ndị nkuzi, ndị na-arụ ọrụ ịtụnanya, ndị na-agwọ ọrịa, ndị pụrụ inyere mmadụ ibe ha aka, ndị nwere onyinye ịchịkọta ihe niile nʼusoro, na ndị na-asụ asụsụ dị iche iche.
And these also hath God placed in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings, helpers, directors, different kinds of tongues.
29 Ha niile, ha bụ ndị ozi? Ha niile ha bụ ndị amụma? Ha niile ha bụ ndị nkuzi? Ha niile ha bụ ndị ọrụ ebube?
Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Ha niile ha nwere onyinye ịgwọ ọrịa? Ha niile ha na-asụ nʼolu dị iche iche? Ha niile ha nwere onyinye nke ịkọwa asụsụ dị iche iche?
have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 Ugbu a, gbalịsienụ ike inweta onyinye kachasị dị elu karịa. Ma aga m ezi unu ụzọ nke kachasị ihe a niile mma.
But zealously seek the gifts that are the best: and yet I shew unto you a more transcendently excellent way.
