1 Korintusi 16
1 Ami a szentek számára való alamizsnát illeti, amint Galácia gyülekezeteinek rendeltem, ti is úgy cselekedjetek.
But concerning the contribution to the saints, as I commanded the churches of Galatia, so you also do.
2 A hétnek első napján mindenki tegye félre magánál, amit sikerült összegyűjtenie, hogy ne akkor legyen a gyűjtés, amikor odamegyek.
On the first day of the week let each one of you lay by with himself treasuring up, that as to whatsoever he may be prospered, in order that there may be no collections at that time when I may come.
3 Amikor pedig megérkezem, a ti megbízott embereiteket levéllel fogom elküldeni, hogy adományotokat Jeruzsálembe vigyék.
But when I may be present, whomsoever you may approve by your letters, these will I send to carry away your benefaction to Jerusalem:
4 Ha pedig érdemes lesz, hogy én is elmenjek, velem együtt jönnek.
if it may be counted worthy for me also to go, they shall go along with me.
5 Hozzátok pedig akkor megyek, amikor Macedónián átutazom, mert Macedónián csak keresztül megyek.
But I will come to you when I may go through Macedonia; for I do go through Macedonia;
6 Nálatok azonban talán ott maradok, vagy ott is telelek, hogy ti kísérjetek el oda, ahova megyek.
and perhaps I may abide with you, and even spend the winter with you, in order that you may send me forward whithersoever I may go.
7 Mert nemcsak átutazóban akarlak látni titeket, de remélem, hogy egy ideig nálatok maradok, ha az Úr engedi.
For I do not wish merely to see you in my journey; for I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord may permit.
8 Efezusban pedig pünkösdig maradok.
But I shall abide in Ephesus until Pentecost;
9 Mert nagy és sokat ígérő munkára nyílott kapu előttem, de az ellenség is sok.
for a door is opened unto me great and effectual, and there are many antagonizing.
10 Hogyha pedig megérkezik Timóteus, legyen gondotok rá, hogy félelem nélkül maradhasson nálatok, mert az Úr munkáját végzi, akárcsak én.
But if Timothy may come, see that he may be with you without fear; for he is doing the work of the Lord, as I also:
11 Azért senki se vesse meg őt, hanem bocsássátok el őt békességgel, hogy hozzám jöhessen, mert várom őt az atyafiakkal együtt.
therefore let no one snub him. But send him forth in peace, in order that he may come to me: for I await him with the brethren.
12 Ami pedig Apollós atyafit illeti, igen kértem őt, hogy menjen el hozzátok az atyafiakkal együtt, de semmiképpen sem volt kedve, hogy most elmenjen, de majd elmegy, mihelyt jó alkalma lesz.
But concerning brother Apollos, I entreated him much, that he may come to you with the brethren: but it was not altogether his will that he may come now; but he will come when he may have opportunity.
13 Vigyázzatok, álljatok meg a hitben, legyetek férfiak, legyetek erősek!
Watch, stand in the faith, be men, be strong.
14 Minden dolgotok szeretetben menjen végbe!
Let all your affairs be in divine love.
15 Intelek pedig titeket, atyámfiai, hiszen tudjátok, hogy Sztefanász háza népe Akhája zsengéje, és ők a szentek szolgálatára szánták magukat.
But I exhort you, brethren; (know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruit of Achaia, and they have set themselves to minister unto the saints),
16 Engedelmeskedjetek ti is az ilyeneknek, és mindenkinek, akik velük szolgálnak és fáradoznak.
in order that you may indeed be in subjection unto such, and to every one laboring with you and toiling.
17 Örülök pedig Sztefanász, Fortunátusz és Akhaiosz jövetelének, mert ők kárpótolnak titeket távollétetekben.
But I rejoice over the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: because they have supplied your deficiency:
18 Megnyugtatták az én lelkemet és a tiéteket is. Becsüljétek azért meg az ilyeneket!
for they refreshed my spirit and yours. Acknowledge ye therefore them that are such.
19 Köszöntenek titeket az ázsiai gyülekezetek. Sokszor üdvözöl titeket Akvila és Priszka, a házuknál lévő gyülekezettel együtt.
The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Prisca along with the church and their house salute you.
20 Köszöntenek titeket az atyafiak mindnyájan.
All the brethren salute you. Salute you one another with a holy kiss.

22 Ha valaki nem szereti az Úr Jézus Krisztust, legyen átkozott! Marana tha.
If any one loves not the Lord as a friend, let him be anathema Maran atha.

The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
24 Az én szeretetem legyen mindnyájatokkal a Krisztus Jézusban! Ámen.
