Zsoltárok 92
1 Zsoltár, ének szombat napra. Jó dolog dicsérni az Urat, és éneket mondani a te nevednek, oh Felséges!
Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.
2 Hirdetni jó reggel a te kegyelmedet, és éjjelente a te hűséges voltodat.
It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,
3 Tíz húrú hegedűvel és lanttal, hárfán való zengedezéssel.
accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.
4 Mert megvidámítottál engem Uram a te cselekedeteddel, a te kezednek műveiben örvendezem.
Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.
5 Mely nagyok Uram a te műveid, igen mélységesek a te gondolataid!
Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.
6 A balgatag ember nem tudja, a bolond pedig nem érti meg ezt:
There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.
7 Hogy mikor felsarjaznak a gonoszok, mint a fű, és virágoznak mind a hamisság cselekedők, mindörökké elveszszenek ők;
They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.
8 Te pedig Uram, magasságos vagy örökké!
But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.
9 Mert ímé, a te ellenségeid elvesznek, és elszélednek mind a hamisság cselekedők!
Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.
10 De magasra növeszted az én szarvamat, mint az egyszarvúét; elárasztatom csillogó olajjal.
But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].
11 És legeltetem szememet az én ellenségeimen, és az ellenem támadó gonosztevőkön mulat majd a fülem.
I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.
12 Az igaz virágzik, mint a pálmafa, növekedik, mint a czédrus a Libánonon.
But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.
13 Plánták ők az Úrnak házában; a mi Istenünknek tornáczaiban virágzanak.
[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.
14 Még a vén korban is gyümölcsöznek; kövérek és zöldellők lesznek;
[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.
15 Hogy hirdessék, hogy igazságos az Úr, az én kősziklám, és hogy nincsen hamisság benne!
That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
