2 Jusson elődbe imádságom, hajtsad füled az én kiáltozásomra!
May it come before you prayer my incline ear your to cry of entreaty my.

4 Hasonlatossá lettem a sírba szállókhoz; olyan vagyok, mint az erejevesztett ember.
I am reckoned with [those who] go down of [the] pit I am like a man [whom] there not [is] strength.
5 A holtak közt van az én helyem, mint a megölteknek, a kik koporsóban feküsznek, a kikről többé nem emlékezel, mert elszakasztattak a te kezedtől.
Among the dead a [person] set free like [those] slain - [who] lie of [the] grave whom not you remember them again and they from hand your they are cut off.
6 Mély sírba vetettél be engem, sötétségbe, örvények közé.
You have put me in a pit of lowest parts in [the] dark places in [the] depths.
7 A te haragod reám nehezedett, és minden haboddal nyomtál engem. (Szela)
On me it has lain anger your and all breakers your you have afflicted [me] (Selah)
8 Elszakasztottad ismerőseimet tőlem, útálattá tettél előttök engem; berekesztettem és ki nem jöhetek.
You have removed far away acquaintances my from me you have made me abominations to them [I am] shut up and not I will go out.
9 Szemem megsenyvedett a nyomorúság miatt; kiáltalak téged Uram minden napon, hozzád terjengetem kezeimet.
Eye my it is faint from affliction I have called out to you O Yahweh on every day I have spread out to you hands my.
10 Avagy a holtakkal teszel-é csodát? Felkelnek-é vajjon az árnyak, hogy dicsérjenek téged? (Szela)
¿ For the dead will you do wonder[s] or? [the] shades will they arise - will they give thanks to? you (Selah)
11 Beszélik-é a koporsóban a te kegyelmedet, hűségedet a pusztulás helyén?
¿ Will it be recounted in the grave covenant loyalty your faithfulness your in Abaddon.
12 Megtudhatják-é a sötétségben a te csodáidat, és igazságodat a feledékenység földén?
¿ Will it be known in the darkness wonder[s] your and righteousness your in [the] land of forgetting.
13 De én hozzád rimánkodom, Uram, és jó reggel elédbe jut az én imádságom:
And I - to you O Yahweh I cry for help and in the morning prayer my it comes to meet you.
14 Miért vetsz el hát Uram engem, és rejted el orczádat én tőlem?
Why? O Yahweh do you reject self my do you hide? face your from me.
15 Nyomorult és holteleven vagyok ifjúságomtól kezdve; viselem a te rettentéseidet, roskadozom.
[have been] afflicted I and [have been] about to die from youth I have borne terrors your I am perplexed.
16 Általmentek rajtam a te búsulásaid; a te szorongatásaid elemésztettek engem.
Over me they have passed anger your terrors your they have destroyed me.
17 Körülvettek engem, mint a vizek egész napon; együttesen körülöveztek engem.
They have surrounded me like water all the day they have surrounded me altogether.
18 Elszakasztottál tőlem barátot és rokont; ismerőseim a – setétség.
You have removed far away from me [one who] loves and a friend acquaintances my darkness.
