1 Dávid imádsága. Hajtsd hozzám Uram füledet, hallgass meg engem, mert nyomorult és szegény vagyok én!
Bow down thine ear, O YHWH, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
2 Tartsd meg életemet, mert kegyes vagyok én; mentsd meg én Istenem a te szolgádat, a ki bízik benned.
Preserve my soul; for I am dedicated: O thou my Elohim, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
3 Könyörülj én rajtam Uram, mert hozzád kiáltok minden napon!
Be merciful unto me, O YHWH: for I cry unto thee daily.
4 Vidámítsd meg a te szolgádnak lelkét, mert hozzád emelem fel Uram lelkemet.
Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O YHWH, do I lift up my soul.
5 Mert te Uram jó vagy és kegyelmes, és nagy irgalmasságú mindazokhoz, a kik hozzád kiáltanak.
For thou, YHWH, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
6 Figyelmezzél Uram az én imádságomra, és hallgasd meg az én könyörgésemnek szavát!
Give ear, O YHWH, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
7 Nyomorúságomnak idején hozzád kiáltok, mert te meghallgatsz engem.
In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
8 Nincsen Uram hozzád hasonló az istenek között, és nincsenek hasonlók a te munkáidhoz!
Among the elohim there is none like unto thee, O YHWH; neither are there any works like unto thy works.
9 Eljőnek a népek mind, a melyeket alkottál, és leborulnak előtted Uram, és dicsőítik a te nevedet.
All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O YHWH; and shall glorify thy name.
10 Mert nagy vagy te és csodadolgokat mívelsz; csak te vagy Isten egyedül!
For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art Elohim alone.
11 Mutasd meg nékem a te útadat, hogy járhassak a te igazságodban, és teljes szívvel féljem nevedet.
Teach me thy way, O YHWH; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
12 Dicsérlek téged Uram, Istenem, teljes szívemből, és dicsőítem a te nevedet örökké!
I will praise thee, O YHWH my Elohim, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
13 Mert nagy én rajtam a te kegyelmed, és kiszabadítottad lelkemet a mélységes pokolból. (Sheol h7585)
For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. (Sheol h7585)
14 Isten! Kevélyek támadtak fel ellenem, és kegyetlenek serege keresi lelkemet, a kik meg sem gondolnak téged.
O Elohim, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.
15 De te Uram, könyörülő és irgalmas Isten vagy, késedelmes a haragra, nagy kegyelmű és igazságú!
But thou, O YHWH, art an El full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
16 Tekints reám és könyörülj rajtam! Add a te erődet a te szolgádnak, és szabadítsd meg a te szolgálóleányodnak fiát!
O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.
17 Adj jelt nékem javamra, hogy lássák az én gyűlölőim és szégyenüljenek meg, a mikor te Uram megsegítesz és megvigasztalsz engem.
Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, YHWH, hast helped me, and comforted me.
