1 Dicsérjétek az Urat! Énekeljetek az Úrnak új éneket; dicsérje őt a kegyesek gyülekezete!

Praise ye Yah, Sing to Yahweh a song that is new, his praise in the convocation of the men of lovingkindness.

2 Örvendezzen Izráel az ő teremtőjében: Sionnak fiai örüljenek az ő királyukban!

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him, Let the sons of Zion exult in their king;

3 Dicsérjék az ő nevét tánczczal; dobbal és hárfával zengjenek néki.

Let them praise his Name in the dance, with timbrel and lyre, Let them make music to him.

4 Mert kedveli az Úr az ő népét, a szenvedőket szabadulással dicsőíti meg.

For Yahweh is taking pleasure in his people, He will beautify humbled ones with victory.

5 Vígadozzanak a kegyesek tisztességben; ujjongjanak nyugvó helyökön.

Let the men of lovingkindness exult as they glory, Let them shout aloud upon their beds:

6 Isten-dicsőítés legyen torkukban, kétélű fegyver kezeikben;

The high songs of GOD be in their throat, and a two-edged sword in their hand:

7 Hogy bosszút álljanak a pogányokon, és megfenyítsék a nemzeteket!

To execute an avenging among the nations, rebukes among the peoples:

8 Hogy lánczra fűzzék királyaikat, főembereiket pedig vas-bilincsekbe.

To bind their kings with fetters, and their honoured ones with iron bands:

9 Hogy végrehajtsák rajtok a megírott ítéletet. Dicsőség ez az ő minden kegyeltjére! Dicsérjétek az Urat!

To execute upon them the sentence written, An honour, shall it be to all his men of lovingkindness. Praise ye Yah!
