1 Dicsérjétek az Urat! Dicsérjétek az Urat az égből; dicsérjétek őt a magas helyeken!
Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens. Praise him in the heights.
2 Dicsérjétek őt angyalai mind; dicsérjétek őt minden ő serege!
Praise ye him, all his agents. Praise ye him, all his host.
3 Dicsérjétek őt: nap és hold; dicsérjétek őt mind: fényes csillagai!
Praise ye him, sun and moon. Praise him, all ye stars of light.
4 Dicsérjétek őt egeknek egei, és ti vizek, a melyek az ég felett vagytok!
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.
5 Dicsérjék ők az Úrnak nevét, mert parancsolt és előállottak ők.
Let them praise the name of Jehovah. For he commanded, and they were created.
6 Örök időre állította fel őket; törvényt szabott és nem tér el attól.
He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which shall not pass away.
7 Dicsérjétek az Urat a földről: viziszörnyek és mély vizek ti mind!
Praise Jehovah from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps,
8 Tűz és jégeső, hó és köd, szélvihar, a melyek az ő rendelését cselekszik;
fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind, fulfilling his word,
9 Ti hegyek és halmok mindnyájan, minden gyümölcsfa s mind ti czédrusok;
mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,
10 Vadak és minden barmok, férgek és szárnyas állatok;
beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying birds,
11 Földi királyok és minden nemzet, fejedelmek és mind ti földi bírák!
kings of the earth and all peoples, rulers and all judges of the earth,
12 Ifjak és szűzek, vének gyermekekkel:
both young men and virgins, old men and sons.
13 Dicsérjék az Úrnak nevét, mert az ő neve dicső egyedül; az ő dicsősége égre-földre kihat!
Let them praise the name of Jehovah, for his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens.
14 És felemelte az ő népének szarvát. Dicsőítse minden ő kegyeltje: Izráel fiai, a hozzá közel való nép. Dicsérjétek az Urat!
And he has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his sanctified, even of the sons of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye Jehovah.
