4 Mózes 5
1 És szóla az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 Parancsold meg Izráel fiainak, hogy űzzenek ki a táborból minden poklost, és minden magfolyóst, és mindenkit, a ki holttest miatt lett tisztátalanná.
Command the children of Israel, that they send out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:
3 Űzzétek azt ki akár férfi, akár asszony; a táboron kivül űzzétek őket, hogy tisztátalanná ne tegyék az ő táborukat, mivelhogy én közöttök lakozom.
Both male and female shall ye send out, to without the camp shall ye send them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.
4 És úgy cselekedének Izráel fiai, és kiűzék azokat a táboron kivül; a miképen meghagyta vala az Úr Mózesnek, úgy cselekedtek Izráel fiai.
And the children of Israel did so, and they sent them out to without the camp: as the Lord had spoken unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.
5 Szóla azután az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
6 Szólj Izráel fiainak: Ha akár férfi, akár asszony, akármi emberi bűnt követ el, a mely által hűtelenné válik az Úrhoz; az a lélek vétkessé lesz.
Speak unto the children of Israel, If any man or woman commit any sin against a fellow-man, thereby doing a trespass against the Lord, and this person thus become guilty:
7 Vallja meg azért az ő bűnét, a melyet elkövetett, és fizesse meg a kárt, a mit okozott, teljes értékében, azután toldja ahhoz annak ötödrészét, és adja annak, a kinek kárt tett.
Then shall they confess their sin which they have committed; and he shall make restitution for his trespass with the principal thereof, and its fifth part shall he add thereto, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.
8 Ha pedig nincs az embernek atyjafia, a kinek megfizetné a kárt: a megtérített kár az Úré legyen a pap számára, az engesztelésre való koson kivül, a melylyel engesztelés tétetik érte.
But if the man have no kinsman to whom restitution could be made for the trespass, then shall the trespass which is restored unto the Lord, belong to the priest; besides the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
9 Izráel fiainak minden szent dolgaiból minden felmutatott áldozat azé a papé legyen, a kihez viszik azt.
And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.
10 És kinek-kinek az ő szenteltje a magáé legyen; a mit pedig kiki a papnak ád, azé legyen.
And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth to the priest, shall belong to him.
11 Szóla azután az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
12 Szólj Izráel fiainak, és mondd meg nékik: Ha elhajol valakinek a felesége, és hűtelenné válik iránta;
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If the wife of any man go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
13 És hál valaki ő vele közösülve, és az ő férje előtt titok marad, és elrejtetik, hogy ő megfertőztetett; bizonyság pedig nincs ellene, sem a bűnön nem kapták;
And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hidden from the eyes of her husband, because she hath been secretly defiled; and there be no witness against her, and she have not been detected and in the fact;
14 De felgerjed ő benne a féltékenység lelke, és féltékenykedik a feleségére, mivelhogy az megfertőztetett; vagy felgerjed ő benne a féltékenység lelke, és féltékenykedik a feleségére, jóllehet az meg nem fertőztetett.
And the spirit of jealousy come over him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she have been defiled; or the spirit of jealousy come over him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she have not been defiled:
15 Akkor vigye a férfiú az ő feleségét a paphoz; és vigye el azzal együtt az érette való áldozatot; egy efa árpalisztnek tizedrészét; de ne öntsön arra olajt, és ne tegyen arra temjént, mert féltékenységi ételáldozat ez, emlékeztető ételáldozat ez, a mely hamisságra emlékeztet.
Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley-meal; he shall not pour any oil upon it, nor put any frankincense thereupon; for it is a meat-offering of jealousy, a meat-offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
16 A pap pedig léptesse elő az asszonyt, és állassa őt az Úr elé.
And the priest shall bring her near, and place her before the Lord;
17 És vegyen a pap szent vizet cserépedénybe; a hajlék pádimentomán levő porból is vegyen a pap, és tegye azt a vízbe.
And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water;
18 És állassa a pap az asszonyt az Úr elé és fejét meztelenítse meg az asszonynak, és tegye annak kezére az emlékeztető ételáldozatot, féltékenységi ételáldozat az; és a papnak kezében legyen átokhozó keserű víz.
And the priest shall place the woman before the Lord, and uncover the woman's head, and put upon her hands the meat-offering of memorial, it is the meat-offering of jealousy; and in the hand of the priest shall be the bitter waters that bring the curse.
19 És eskesse meg őt a pap, és ezt mondja az asszonynak: Ha nem hált veled senki, és ha el nem hajoltál tisztátalanságra a te férjed mellett, ne ártson néked ez az átokhozó, keserű víz.
And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and he shall say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness behind thy husband: then be thou free from these bitter waters that bring the curse.
20 Ha pedig elhajoltál a te férjed mellől, és megfertőztetted magadat, és valaki közösült veled a te férjeden kívül,
But if thou hast gone aside behind thy husband, and if thou hast been defiled, and some man have lain with thee besides thy husband: —
21 Miután megeskette a pap az asszonyt az átoknak esküjével, ezt mondja az asszonynak: Tegyen tégedet az Úr átokká, és eskü-példává a te néped között, megszárasztván az Úr a te tomporodat, és a te méhedet dagadtá tévén.
And the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of imprecation, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The Lord then make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the Lord doth cause thy thigh to fall away, and thy belly to swell;
22 És menjen be az átokhozó víz a te belső részeidbe, hogy megdagadjon a te méhed, és megszáradjon a te tomporod. Az asszony pedig mondja: Ámen! Ámen!
And these waters that bring the curse shall go into thy bowels, to cause the belly to swell, and the thigh to fall away; and the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
23 És írja fel a pap ez átkokat levélre, azután törölje le a keserű vízzel.
And the priest shall write these curses on a roll, and he shall blot them out with the bitter waters.
24 És itassa meg az asszonynyal az átokhozó keserű vizet, hogy bemenjen ő belé az átokhozó víz az ő keserűségére.
And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter waters that bring the curse: and the waters that bring the curse shall enter into her for bitterness.
25 Azután vegye el a pap az asszony kezéből a féltékenységi ételáldozatot, és lóbálja meg azt az ételáldozatot az Úr előtt, és áldozzék azzal az oltáron.
And the priest shall take out of the woman's hand the meat-offering of jealousy, and he shall wave the meat-offering before the Lord, and bring it near to the altar:
26 És vegyen egy marokkal a pap az ételáldozatból emlékeztetőűl, és füstölögtesse el az oltáron, és azután itassa meg az asszonynyal a vizet.
And the priest shall take a handful from the meat-offering, as its memorial, and burn it upon the altar, and after that shall he cause the woman to drink the water.
27 És ha megitatta vele a vizet, akkor lészen, hogy, ha megfertőztette magát, és hűtelenné lett az ő férjéhez, bemegy az az átokhozó víz ő belé az ő keserűségére, és megdagad az ő méhe, és megszárad az ő tompora, és az az asszony átokká lesz az ő népe között.
And when he hath made her drink the water, then shall it come to pass, if she have been defiled, and have committed a trespass against her husband, that the waters that bring the curse shall enter into her, for bitterness, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away; and the woman shall become a curse among her people.
28 Ha pedig nem fertőztette meg magát az asszony, hanem tiszta: akkor ártatlan, és termékeny lészen.
And if the woman have not been defiled, but be clean: then shall she remain unharmed, and she shall conceive seed.
29 Ez a féltékenységi törvény, mikor elhajol az asszony az ő férje mellől, és megfertőzteti magát;
This is the law of jealousies, when a woman goeth aside behind her husband, and hath been defiled;
30 Vagy mikor valaki, a kiben felgerjed a féltékenység lelke annyira, hogy féltékenykedik a feleségére; az ő feleségét állatja az Úr elé. És cselekedjék vele a pap mind e törvény szerint.
Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh over him, and he be jealous of his wife; and he shall place the woman before the Lord, and the priest shall do unto her altogether according to this law.
31 És ártatlan lesz a férfi a bűntől, az asszony pedig viseli az ő bűnének terhét.
And the man shall be guiltless from iniquity; but this woman shall bear her iniquity.
