Máté 13
1 Azon a napon kimenvén Jézus a házból, leüle a tenger mellett.
The same day, Jesus having gone out of the house, sat by the sea-side;
2 És nagy sokaság gyülekezék ő hozzá, annyira, hogy ő a hajóba méne leülni; az egész sokaság pedig a parton áll vala.
but so great a multitude flocked about him, that he went into a bark, and sat down there, while all the people stood on the shore.
3 És sokat beszéle nékik példázatokban, mondván: Ímé kiméne a magvető vetni,
Then he discoursed to them of many things in parables.
4 És a mikor ő vet vala, némely mag az útfélre esék; és eljövén a madarak, elkapdosák azt.
The sower, said he, went out to sow; and, in sowing, some seeds fell by the way-side, and the birds came and picked them up:
5 Némely pedig a köves helyre esék, a hol nem sok földje vala; és hamar kikele, mivelhogy nem vala mélyen a földben.
some fell on rocky ground, where they had but little earth: these sprang up the sooner, because the soil had no depth:
6 De mikor a nap felkelt, elsüle; és mivelhogy gyökere nem vala, elszáradott.
but after the sun had beat upon them, they were scorched, and having no root, withered away.
7 Némely pedig a tövisek közé esék, és a tövisek felnevekedvén, megfojták azt.
Some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked them.
8 Némely pedig a jó földbe esék, és gyümölcsöt terme, némely száz annyit, némely hatvan annyit, némely pedig harmincz annyit.
Others fell into good ground, and yielded increase, some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty fold.
9 A kinek van füle a hallásra, hallja.
Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.
10 A tanítványok pedig hozzámenvén, mondának néki: Miért szólasz nékik példázatokban?
Then the disciples addressed him, saying, Why do you speak to them in parables?
11 Ő pedig felelvén, monda nékik: Mert néktek megadatott, hogy érthessétek a mennyek országának titkait, ezeknek pedig nem adatott meg.
He answering, said to them, Because it is your privilege, and not theirs, to know the secrets of the Reign of Heaven.
12 Mert a kinek van, annak adatik, és bővölködik; de a kinek nincs, az is elvétetik tőle, a mije van.
For to him that has, more shall be given, and he shall abound; but from him that has not, even that which he has shall be taken.
13 Azért szólok velök példázatokban, mert látván nem látnak, és hallván nem hallanak, sem nem értenek.
For this reason I speak to them in parables; because they seeing, see not; and hearing, hear not, nor regard;
14 És beteljesedék rajtok Ésaiás jövendölése, a mely ezt mondja: Hallván halljatok, és ne értsetek; és látván lássatok, és ne ismerjetek:
insomuch that this prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled in them, "You will indeed hear, but will not understand; you will look, but will not perceive.
15 Mert megkövéredett e népnek szíve, és füleikkel nehezen hallottak, és szemeiket behunyták; hogy valami módon ne lássanak szemeikkel, és ne halljanak füleikkel, és ne értsenek szívükkel, és meg ne térjenek, és meg ne gyógyítsam őket.
For this people's understanding is stupefied, their ears are deafened, and their eyes they have closed; lest seeing with their eyes, hearing with their ears, and apprehending with their understanding, they should reform, and I should reclaim them."
16 A ti szemeitek pedig boldogok, hogy látnak; és a ti füleitek, hogy hallanak.
But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.
17 Mert bizony mondom néktek, hogy sok próféta és igaz kívánta látni, a miket ti láttok, és nem látták; és hallani, a miket ti hallotok, és nem hallották.
For, indeed, I say to you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see the things which you see, but have not seen them; and to hear the things which you hear, but have not heard them.
18 Ti halljátok meg azért a magvető példázatát.
Understand you, therefore, the parable of the sower.
19 Ha valaki hallja az ígét a mennyeknek országáról és nem érti, eljő a gonosz és elkapja azt, a mi annak szívébe vettetett vala. Ez az, a mely az útfélre esett.
When one hears the doctrine of the Reign, but considers it not, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which was sown in his heart. This explains what fell by the way-side.
20 A mely pedig a köves helyre esett, ez az, a ki hallja az ígét, és mindjárt örömmel fogadja;
That which fell on rocky ground, denotes him who, hearing the word, receives it at first with pleasure;
21 De nincs gyökere benne, hanem csak ideig való; mihelyt pedig nyomorgatás vagy üldözés támad az íge miatt, azonnal megbotránkozik.
yet, not having it rooted in his mind, retains it but a while; for when trouble or persecution comes, because of the word, instantly he relapses.
22 A mely pedig a tövisek közé esett, ez az, a ki hallja az ígét, de e világnak gondja és a gazdagságnak csalárdsága elfojtja az ígét, és gyümölcsöt nem terem. (aiōn g165)
That which fell among thorns, denotes that hearer in whom worldly cares, and deceitful riches, choke the word, and render it unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
23 A mely pedig a jó földbe esett, ez az, a ki hallja és érti az ígét; a ki gyümölcsöt is terem, és terem némely száz annyit, némely hatvan annyit, némely pedig harmincz annyit.
But that which fell into good soil, and bore fruit, some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty fold, denotes him, who not only hears and considers, but obeys the word.
24 Más példázatot is adott eléjök, mondván: Hasonlatos a mennyeknek országa az emberhez, a ki az ő földébe jó magot vetett;
Another parable he proposed to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a field, in which the proprietor has sown good grain:
25 De mikor az emberek alusznak vala, eljöve az ő ellensége és konkolyt vete a búza közé, és elméne.
but while people were asleep, his enemy came, and sowed darnel among the wheat, and went off.
26 Mikor pedig felnevekedék a vetés, és gyümölcsöt terme, akkor meglátszék a konkoly is.
When the blade was up, and putting forth the ear, then appeared also the darnel.
27 A gazda szolgái pedig előállván, mondának néki: Uram, avagy nem tiszta magot vetettél-e a te földedbe? honnan van azért benne a konkoly?
And the servants came, and said to their master, Sir, you sowed good grain in your field; whence, then, has it darnel?
28 Ő pedig monda nékik: Valamely ellenség cselekedte azt. A szolgák pedig mondának néki: Akarod-é tehát, hogy elmenvén, összeszedjük azokat?
He answered, An enemy has done this. They said, Will you, then, that we weed them out?
29 Ő pedig monda: Nem. Mert a mikor összeszeditek a konkolyt, azzal együtt netalán a búzát is kiszaggatjátok.
He replied, No, lest in weeding out the darnel, you tear up the wheat.
30 Hagyjátok, hogy együtt nőjjön mind a kettő az aratásig, és az aratás idején azt mondom majd az aratóknak: Szedjétek össze először a konkolyt, és kössétek kévékbe, hogy megégessétek; a búzát pedig takarítsátok az én csűrömbe.
Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, first gather the darnel, and make them into bundles for burning; then carry the wheat into my barn.
31 Más példázatot is adott eléjök, mondván: Hasonlatos a mennyeknek országa a mustármaghoz, a melyet vévén az ember, elvete az ő mezejében;
Another similitude he proposed to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man planted in his field;
32 A mely kisebb ugyan minden magnál; de a mikor felnő, nagyobb a veteményeknél, és fává lesz, annyira, hogy reá szállanak az égi madarak, és fészket raknak ágain.
for though it is the smallest of seeds, when grown, larger than any herb, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air take the shelter in its branches.
33 Más példázatot is mondott nékik: Hasonlatos a mennyeknek országa a kovászhoz, a melyet vévén az asszony, három mércze lisztbe elegyíte, mígnem az egész megkele.
Another similitude he gave them: The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman mingled in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
34 Mind ezeket példázatokban mondá Jézus a sokaságnak, és példázat nélkül semmit sem szóla nékik,
All these similitudes Jesus spoke to the people; for he taught them only by similitudes;
35 Hogy beteljék a mit a próféta szólott, mondván: Megnyitom az én számat példázatokra; és kitárom, amik e világ alapítása óta rejtve valának.
in this verifying the word of the Prophet, "I will discourse in parables; I will utter things concerning which, all antiquity has been silent."
36 Ekkor elbocsátván a sokaságot, beméne Jézus a házba. És az ő tanítványai hozzámenének, mondván: Magyarázd meg nékünk a szántóföld konkolyáról való példázatot.
Then Jesus, leaving the multitude, retired to the house, where his disciples accosted him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnel in the field.
37 Ő pedig felelvén monda nékik: A ki a jó magot veti, az az embernek Fia;
Jesus answering, said to them, He who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.
38 A szántóföld pedig a világ; a jó mag az Isten országának fiai; a konkoly pedig a gonosznak fiai.
The field is the world; the good seed are the sons of the kingdom; and the darnel are the sons of the evil one;
39 Az ellenség pedig, a ki a konkolyt vetette, az ördög; az aratás pedig a világ vége; az aratók pedig az angyalok. (aiōn g165)
the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the conclusion of this state; and the reapers are the angels. (aiōn g165)
As, therefore, the darnel is gathered and burnt, so shall it be at the conclusion of this state. (aiōn g165)
41 Az embernek Fia elküldi az ő angyalait, és az ő országából összegyűjtik a botránkozásokat mind, és azokat is, a kik gonoszságot cselekesznek,
The Son of Man will send his angels who shall gather out of his kingdom all seducers and iniquitous persons,
42 És bevetik őket a tüzes kemenczébe: ott lészen sírás és fogcsikorgatás.
and throw them into the burning furnace: weeping and gnashing of teeth shall be there.
43 Akkor az igazak fénylenek, mint a nap, az ő Atyjoknak országában. A kinek van füle a hallásra, hallja.
Then shall the righteous shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears to hear let him hear.
44 Ismét hasonlatos a mennyeknek országa a szántóföldben elrejtett kincshez, a melyet megtalálván az ember, elrejté azt; és a felett való örömében elmegy és eladván mindenét a mije van, megveszi azt a szántóföldet.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hid in a field, which, when a man has discovered, he conceals the discovery, and for joy thereof, sells all that he has, and buys that field.
45 Ismét hasonlatos a mennyeknek országa a kereskedőhöz, a ki igazgyöngyöket keres;
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a pearl extremely precious, which a merchant, in quest of fine pearls,
46 A ki találván egy drágagyöngyre, elméne, és mindenét eladván a mije volt, megvevé azt.
having found, sold all that he had, and purchased it.
47 Szintén hasonlatos a mennyeknek országa a tengerbe vetett gyalomhoz, a mely mindenféle fajtát összefogott;
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a sweep-net cast into the seam which incloses fish of every kind.
48 Melyet, minekutána megtelt, a partra vontak a halászok, és leülvén, a jókat edényekbe gyűjtötték, a hitványakat pedig kihányták.
When it is full, they draw it ashore, and gather the good into vessels, but throw the useless away.
49 Így lesz a világ végén is: Eljőnek majd az angyalok, és kiválasztják a gonoszokat az igazak közül. (aiōn g165)
So it shall be at the conclusion of this state. The angels will come and separate the wicked from among the righteous, (aiōn g165)
50 És a tüzes kemenczébe vetik őket; ott lészen sírás és fogcsikorgatás.
and throw them into the burning furnace. Weeping and gnashing of teeth shall be there.
51 Monda nékik Jézus: Megértettétek-é mindezeket? Mondának néki: Megértettük Uram.
Jesus said, Do you understand all these things? They answered, Yes, Master.
52 Ő pedig monda nékik: Annakokáért minden írástudó, a ki a mennyeknek országa felől megtaníttatott, hasonlatos az olyan gazdához, a ki ót és újat hoz elő az ő éléstárából.
He added, Every scribe, therefore, instructed for the Reign of Heaven, is like a householder, who brings out of his storehouse new things and old.
53 És lőn, a mikor elvégzé Jézus ezeket a példázatokat, elméne onnan.
And after he had finished these similitudes, he departed thence.
54 És hazájába érve, tanítja vala őket az ő zsinagógájukban, annyira, hogy álmélkodnak és ezt mondják vala: Honnét van ebben ez a bölcseség és az erők?
Jesus being come into his own country, taught the inhabitants in their synagogue; and they said with astonishment, Whence has this man this wisdom, and this power of working miracles?
55 Nem ez-é amaz ácsmesternek fia? Nem az ő anyját hívják-é Máriának, és az ő testvéreit Jakabnak, Józsénak, Simonnak és Júdásnak?
Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And do not his brothers, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas,
56 És az ő nőtestvérei is nem mind minálunk vannak-é? Honnét vannak tehát ennél mindezek?
and all his sisters, live amongst us? Whence, then, has he all these things?
57 És megbotránkoznak vala ő benne. Jézus pedig monda nékik: Nincsen próféta tisztesség nélkül, hanem csak az ő hazájában és házában.
Thus they were offended at him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is no where disregarded, except in his own country, and in his own family.
58 Nem is tőn ott sok csodát, az ő hitetlenségök miatt.
And he did not many miracles there, because of their unbelief.
