Márk 1
1 A Jézus Krisztus, az Isten Fia evangyéliomának kezdete,
Beginning of the glad-message of Jesus Christ.
2 A mint meg van írva a prófétáknál: Ímé én elküldöm az én követemet a te orczád előtt, a ki megkészíti a te útadat előtted;
According as it is written in Isaiah the prophet—Lo! I send my messenger before thy face, Who shall prepare thy way, —
3 Kiáltónak szava a pusztában: Készítsétek meg az Úrnak útját, egyengessétek meg az ő ösvényeit:
A voice of one crying aloud—In the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord, straight, be making his paths.
4 Előáll vala János, keresztelvén a pusztában és prédikálván a megtérésnek keresztségét a bűnöknek bocsánatára.
John the Immerser came, in the wilderness, proclaiming an immersion of repentance for remission of sins;
5 És kiméne hozzá Júdeának egész tartománya és a Jeruzsálembeliek is, és megkeresztelkedének mindnyájan ő általa a Jordán vizében, bűneikről vallást tévén.
and there were going out unto him all the Judaea country and all they of Jerusalem, and were being immersed by him in the Jordan river, openly confessing their sins;
6 János pedig teveszőrruhát és dereka körül bőrövet viselt vala, és sáskát és erdei mézet eszik vala.
and John was clothed with camel’s-hair and a leathern girdle about his loins, and was eating locusts and wild honey;
7 És prédikála, mondván: Utánam jő, a ki erősebb nálam, a kinek nem vagyok méltó, hogy lehajolván, sarujának szíjját megoldjam.
and he proclaimed, saying—He that is mightier than I cometh after [me], of whom I am not worthy to stoop and unloose the strap of his sandals:
8 Én vízzel kereszteltelek titeket, de ő Szent Lélekkel keresztel titeket.
I, have immersed you, with water, —He, will immerse you, with the Holy Spirit.
9 És lőn azokban a napokban, eljöve Jézus a galileai Názáretből, és megkeresztelteték János által a Jordánban.
And it came to pass, in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed into the Jordan by John;
10 És azonnal feljővén a vízből, látá az egeket megnyilatkozni, és a Lelket mint egy galambot ő reá leszállani;
And, straightway, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens rending asunder, and, the Spirit, as a dove, descending unto him;
11 És szózat lőn az égből: Te vagy az én szerelmes fiam, a kiben én gyönyörködöm.
and a voice [came] out of the heavens—Thou, art my Son, the Beloved, —In thee, I delight.
12 És a Lélek azonnal elragadá őt a pusztába.
And, straightway, the Spirit urgeth him forth into the wilderness;
13 És ott volt a pusztában negyven napig kísértetve a Sátántól, és a vad állatokkal vala együtt; és az angyalok szolgálnak vala néki.
and he was in the wilderness, forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts, —and, the messengers, were ministering unto him.
14 Minekutána pedig János tömlöczbe vettetett, elméne Jézus Galileába, prédikálván az Isten országának evangyéliomát,
And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the glad-message of God,
15 És mondván: Bétölt az idő, és elközelített az Istennek országa; térjetek meg, és higyjetek az evangyéliomban.
[and saying]—The season is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God hath drawn near, —Repent ye, and have faith in the glad-message.
16 Mikor pedig Galilea tengere mellett járt, látá Simont és Andrást, annak testvérét, a mint a tengerbe hálót vetének; mert halászok valának.
And, passing by near the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew the brother of Simon, casting a net in the sea, —for they were fishers;
17 És monda nékik Jézus: Kövessetek engem, és én azt mívelem, hogy embereket halászszatok.
and Jesus said unto them—Come after me, and I will make you become fishers of men;
18 És azonnal elhagyván az ő hálóikat, követék őt.
and, straightway, leaving the nets, they followed him.
19 És onnan egy kevéssé elébb menve, látá Jakabot, a Zebedeus fiát és annak testvérét, Jánost, a mint a hajóban azok is a hálókat kötözgetik vala.
And, going forward a little, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, and them who were in the boat putting in order the nets;
20 És azonnal hívá őket. És ők atyjukat, Zebedeust a napszámosokkal a hajóban hagyva, utána menének.
and, straightway, he called them, —and, leaving their father Zebedee in the boat, with the hired men, they came away after him.
21 És bemenének Kapernaumba; és mindjárt szombatnapon bemenvén a zsinagógába, tanít vala.
And they journey into Capernaum. And, straightway, on the Sabbath, entering into the synagogue, he began teaching;
22 És elálmélkodának az ő tanításán; mert úgy tanítja vala őket, mint a kinek hatalma van, és nem úgy mint az írástudók.
and they were being struck with astonishment at his teaching, —for he was teaching them as one having authority, and, not as the Scribes.
23 Vala pedig azok zsinagógájában egy ember, a kiben tisztátalan lélek volt, és felkiálta,
And, straightway, there was in their synagogue, a man in an impure spirit, —and he cried out aloud,
24 És monda: Ah! mi dolgunk van nékünk veled, Názáreti Jézus? Azért jöttél-é, hogy elveszíts minket? Tudom, hogy ki vagy te: az Istennek Szentje.
saying—What have we in common with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Hast thou come to destroy us? I know thee, who thou art, The Holy One of God.
25 És megdorgálá őt Jézus, mondván: Némulj meg, és menj ki belőle.
And Jesus rebuked him, [saying]—Be silenced, and come forth out of him!
26 És a tisztátalan lélek megszaggatá őt, és fenszóval kiáltva, kiméne belőle.
And the impure spirit, tearing him, and calling out with a loud voice, came forth out of him;
27 És mindnyájan elálmélkodának, annyira, hogy egymás között kérdezgeték, mondván: Mi ez? Micsoda új tudomány ez, hogy hatalommal parancsol a tisztátalan lelkeknek is, és engedelmeskednek néki?
and they were amazed, one and all, so that they began to discuss among themselves, saying—What is this? New teaching! With authority, to the impure spirits also, he giveth orders, and they obey him!
28 És azonnal elméne az ő híre Galilea egész környékére.
And forth went the report of him, straightway, on every hand, into the surrounding country of Galilee.
29 És a zsinagógából azonnal kimenvén, a Simon és András házához menének Jakabbal és Jánossal együtt.
And, straightway, out of the synagogue, going forth, he went unto the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
30 A Simon napa pedig hideglelésben fekszik vala, és azonnal szólának néki felőle.
Now, the mother-in-law of Simon, was lying in a fever, and, straightway, they speak to him concerning her;
31 És ő odamenvén, fölemelé azt, annak kezét fogván; és elhagyá azt a hideglelés azonnal, és szolgál vala nékik.
and, coming near, he raised her up, grasping her hand, —and the fever left her, and she began ministering unto them.
32 Estefelé pedig, a mikor leszállt a nap, mind ő hozzá vivék a betegeseket és az ördöngősöket;
And, evening arriving, when the sun went in, they were bearing unto him all who were sick, and them who were demonized;
33 És az egész város oda gyűlt vala az ajtó elé.
and all the city was gathered unto the door;
34 És meggyógyíta sokakat, a kik különféle betegségekben sínlődnek vala; és sok ördögöt kiűze, és nem hagyja vala szólni az ördögöket, mivelhogy őt ismerék.
and he cured many that were sick with divers diseases, and, many demons, he cast out, and suffered not the demons to be talking, —because they knew him [to be Christ].
35 Kora reggel pedig, még szürkületkor, fölkelvén, kiméne, és elméne egy puszta helyre és ott imádkozék.
And, very early by night arising, he went out [and departed] into a desert place, and, there, was praying;
36 Simon pedig és a vele lévők utána sietének;
and Simon, and they who were with him, went in quest of him,
37 És a mikor megtalálák őt, mondának néki: Mindenki téged keres.
and found him, and say unto him—All, are seeking thee;
38 És ő monda nékik: Menjünk a közel való városokba, hogy ott is prédikáljak, mert azért jöttem.
and he saith unto them—Let us be going elsewhere, into the neighbouring country-towns, in order that, there also, I may be making proclamation, —for, to this end, came I forth;
39 És prédikál vala azoknak zsinagógáiban, egész Galileában, és ördögöket űz vala.
and he came, making proclamation, into their synagogues, throughout the whole of Galilee, —and, was casting the demons out.
40 És jöve hozzá egy bélpoklos, kérvén őt és leborulván előtte és mondván néki: Ha akarod, megtisztíthatsz engem.
And there cometh unto him, a leper, beseeching him and [kneeling], —saying unto him—If thou be willing, thou canst cleanse me;
41 Jézus pedig könyörületességre indulván, kezét kinyújtva megérinté őt, és monda néki: Akarom, tisztulj meg.
and, moved with compassion, he stretched forth the hand, and touched him, and saith unto him—I am willing, Be cleansed!
42 És a mint ezt mondja vala, azonnal eltávozék tőle a poklosság és megtisztula.
and, straightway, the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed;
43 És erősen megfenyegetvén, azonnal elküldé őt,
and, strictly charging him, straightway, he urged him forth;
44 És monda néki: Meglásd, hogy senkinek semmit ne szólj; hanem eredj el, mutasd meg magadat a papnak, és vidd fel a te tisztulásodért, a mit Mózes parancsolt, bizonyságul nékik.
and saith unto him—Mind! unto no one, say aught, —but withdraw, thyself, show unto the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what things Moses enjoined, for a witness unto them.
45 Az pedig kimenvén, kezde sokat beszélni és terjeszteni a dolgot, annyira, hogy nyilvánosan immár be sem mehetett Jézus a városba, hanem künn puszta helyeken vala, és mennek vala hozzá mindenfelől.
But, he, going forth, began to be proclaiming many things, and blazing abroad the story, so that, no longer, was it possible for him, openly, into a city, to enter, —but, outside, in desert places, [was he], and they were coming unto him from every quarter.
