Márk 13
1 Mikor pedig a templomból kiméne, monda néki egy az ő tanítványai közül: Mester, nézd, milyen kövek és milyen épületek!
And, as he was going forth out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him—Teacher! see what manner of stones, and what manner of buildings!
2 Jézus pedig felelvén, monda néki: Látod ezeket a nagy épületeket? Nem marad kő kövön, a mely le nem romboltatik.
And, Jesus, said unto him—Art thou beholding these great buildings? In nowise, shall there be left here, stone upon stone, which shall, in any wise, not be thrown down.
3 Mikor pedig az olajfák hegyén ül vala, a templom átellenében, megkérdezék őt magukban Péter, Jakab, János és András:
And, as he was sitting within the mount of Olives, over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew were questioning him, privately—
4 Mondd meg nékünk, mikor történnek meg ezek; és mi lesz a jel, a mikor mindezek beteljesednek?
Tell us, When, these things, shall be, and, what the sign, when all these things shall be about to be concluded.
5 Jézus pedig felelvén nékik, kezdé mondani: Meglássátok, hogy valaki el ne hitessen titeket.
And, Jesus, began to be saying unto them—Beware, lest anyone, deceive, you;
6 Mert sokan jőnek majd az én nevemben, a kik azt mondják: Én vagyok: és sokakat elhitetnek.
For, many, will come on my name, saying, I, am he! and, will deceive, many.
7 Mikor pedig hallani fogtok háborúkról és háborúk híreiről, meg ne rémüljetek, mert meg kell lenniök; de ez még nem a vég.
And, when ye shall hear of wars, and rumours of wars, be not alarmed—it must needs come to pass, but, not yet, is, the end.
8 Mert nemzet nemzet ellen, és ország ország ellen támad; és lesznek földindulások mindenfelé, és lesznek éhségek és háborúságok.
For there will arise—Nation against nation, and, kingdom against kingdom, —there will be earthquakes in places, there will be famines: —
9 Nyomorúságoknak kezdetei ezek. Ti pedig vigyázzatok magatokra: mert törvényszékeknek adnak át titeket, és gyülekezetekben vernek meg titeket, és helytartók és királyok elé állítanak én érettem, bizonyságul ő nékik.
A beginning of birth-pangs, are these things. But be, ye, taking heed, unto yourselves: they will deliver you up into high-councils, and, in synagogues, shall ye be beaten, —and, before governors and kings, shall ye be set, for my sake, for a witness unto them.
10 De előbb hirdettetnie kell az evangyéliomnak minden pogányok között.
And, unto all the nations, first, must needs be proclaimed, the glad-message.
11 Mikor pedig fogva visznek, hogy átadjanak titeket, ne aggodalmaskodjatok előre, hogy mit szóljatok, és ne gondolkodjatok, hanem a mi adatik néktek abban az órában, azt szóljátok; mert nem ti vagytok, a kik szólotok, hanem a Szent Lélek.
And, when they are leading you, as they are delivering you up, be not beforehand anxious, what ye shall speak; but, whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, the same, speak, —for, ye, are not the speakers, but the Holy Spirit.
12 Halálra fogja pedig adni testvér testvérét, atya gyermekét; és magzatok támadnak szülők ellen, és megöletik őket.
And, brother, will deliver up, brother, unto death, and, father, child, and, children, will rise up, against parents, and put them to death;
13 És lesztek gyűlöletesek mindenki előtt az én nevemért; de a ki mindvégig megmarad, az megtartatik.
And ye will be men hated by all, because of my name; but, he that hath endured throughout, the same, shall be saved.
14 Mikor pedig látjátok a pusztító utálatosságot, a melyről Dániel próféta szólott, ott állani, a hol nem kellene (a ki olvassa, értse meg), akkor a kik Júdeában lesznek, fussanak a hegyekre;
But, when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, standing where it ought not, he that readeth, let him, think, then, they who are in Judaea, let them flee into the mountains;
15 A háztetőn levő pedig le ne szálljon a házba, se be ne menjen, hogy házából valamit kivigyen;
He that is on the house-top, let him not come down, neither let him enter, to take away anything out of his louse;
16 És a mezőn levő haza ne térjen, hogy ruháját elvigye.
And, he that hath gone into the field, let him not turn back unto the things behind, to take away his mantle.
17 Jaj pedig a terhes és a szoptató asszonyoknak azokban a napokban.
But alas for the women with child, and for them who are giving suck, —in those days.
18 Imádkozzatok pedig, hogy a ti futástok ne télen legyen.
But be praying, that it may not happen in winter.
19 Mert azok a napok olyan nyomorúságosak lesznek, a milyenek a világ kezdete óta, a melyet Isten teremtett, mind ez ideig nem voltak, és nem is lesznek.
For in those days shall be a tribulation—such, that there hath not happened, the like, from the beginning of creation which God created, until the present time, and shall in nowise happen.
20 És ha az Úr meg nem rövidítette volna azokat a napokat, egyetlen test sem menekülne meg; de a választottakért, a kiket kiválasztott, megrövidítette azokat a napokat.
And, save that the Lord hath shortened the days, no flesh should be saved; but, for the sake of the chosen of whom he hath made choice, he hath shortened the days.
21 Ha pedig akkor ezt mondja néktek valaki: Ímé itt a Krisztus, vagy: Ímé amott, ne higyjétek.
And, then, if any, unto you, say—See! Here, is the Christ! See! there, do not believe it;
22 Mert hamis Krisztusok és hamis próféták támadnak, és jeleket és csodákat tesznek, hogy elhitessék, ha lehet, még a választottakat is.
For there will arise, false Christs, and false prophets; and they will show signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, the chosen.
23 Ti pedig vigyázzatok; ímé előre megmondottam néktek mindent.
But, ye, beware: I have foretold you, all things.
24 De azokban a napokban, azután a nyomorúság után, a nap elsötétedik, és a hold nem fénylik,
But, in those days, after that tribulation, the sun, shall be darkened, and, the moon, will not give her brightness,
25 És az ég csillagai lehullanak, és az egekben levő hatalmasságok megrendülnek.
And, the stars, will, out of the heavens, be falling, —and, the powers which are in the heavens, will be shaken;
26 És akkor meglátják az embernek Fiát eljőni felhőkben nagy hatalommal és dicsőséggel.
And, then, will they see the Son of Man—coming in clouds, with great power and glory.
27 És akkor elküldi az ő angyalait, és egybegyűjti az ő választottait a négy szelek felől, a föld végső határától az ég végső határáig.
And, then, will he send forth the messengers, and they will gather together his chosen—out of the four winds, from utmost bound of earth, unto utmost bound of heaven.
28 A fügefáról vegyétek pedig a példát. A mikor ága már zsendül, és levelet hajt, tudjátok, hogy közel van a nyár.
Now, from the fig-tree, learn ye, the parable: —When, already, her young branch, becometh tender, and, the leaves, are sprouting, ye observe that, near, is, the summer:
29 Azonképen ti is, mikor látjátok, hogy ezek meglesznek, tudjátok meg, hogy közel van, az ajtó előtt.
Thus, ye also, when ye shall see these things coming to pass, observe ye, that, near, he is, at the doors.
30 Bizony mondom néktek, hogy el nem múlik ez a nemzetség, a míg meg nem lesznek mindezek.
Verily, I say unto you—In nowise, shall this generation pass away, until all these things, shall happen:
31 Az ég és a föld elmúlnak, de az én beszédeim soha el nem múlnak.
The heaven and the earth, shall pass away, but, my words, shall not pass away.
32 Arról a napról és óráról pedig senki semmit sem tud, sem az égben az angyalok, sem a Fiú, hanem csak az Atya.
But, concerning that day or hour, no one, knoweth, neither the messengers in heaven, nor the Son, —save the Father.
33 Figyeljetek, vigyázzatok és imádkozzatok; mert nem tudjátok, mikor jő el az az idő.
Be taking heed, be watching, for ye know not, when, the season [is]: —
34 Úgy mint az az ember, a ki messze útra kelve, házát elhagyván, és szolgáit felhatalmazván, és kinek-kinek a maga dolgát megszabván, az ajtónállónak is megparancsolta, hogy vigyázzon.
As a man from home—having left his house, and given his servants the authority, to each one, his work, —and, unto the porter, hath given command, that he should watch: —
35 Vigyázzatok azért, mert nem tudjátok, mikor érkezik meg a háznak ura, este-é vagy éjfélkor, vagy kakasszókor, vagy reggel?
Be watching, therefore, for ye know not, when, the master of the house, is coming, —whether at even, or at midnight, or at cock-crowing, or at early morn; —
36 Hogy, ha hirtelen megérkezik, ne találjon titeket aludva.
Lest, coming suddenly, he find you, sleeping.
37 A miket pedig néktek mondok, mindenkinek mondom: Vigyázzatok!
But, what, unto you, I say, unto all, I say: —Be watching.
