Lukács 8
1 És lőn ezután, hogy ő jár vala városonként és falunként, prédikálván és hirdetvén az Isten országát, és vele a tizenkettő,
And it came to pass thereafter, that He was going through every city and village, preaching and proclaiming good news of the Kingdom of God, and the Twelve [are] with Him,
2 És némely asszonyok, a kiket tisztátalan lelkektől és betegségekből gyógyított meg, Mária, a ki Magdalénának neveztetik, kiből hét ördög ment ki,
and certain women who were healed of evil spirits and sicknesses, Mary who is called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone forth,
3 És Johanna, Khúzának, a Heródes gondviselőjének felesége, és Zsuzsánna, és sok más asszony, kik az ő vagyonukból szolgálának néki.
and Joanna wife of Chuza, steward of Herod, and Susanna, and many others, who were ministering to Him from their substance.
4 Mikor pedig nagy sokaság gyűlt egybe, és minden városból mentek vala ő hozzá, monda példázat által:
And a great multitude having gathered, and those who from city and city were coming to Him, He spoke by an allegory:
5 Kiméne a magvető, hogy elvesse az ő magvát: és magvetés közben némely esék az útfélre; és eltapostaték, és az égi madarak megevék azt.
“The sower went forth to sow his seed, and in his sowing some indeed fell beside the way, and it was trodden down, and the birds of the sky devoured it.
6 És némely esék a kősziklára; és mikor kikelt, elszárada, mert nem vala nedvessége.
And other fell on the rock, and having sprung up, it withered, through having no moisture.
7 Némely esék a tövis közé; és a tövisek vele együtt növekedvén, megfojták azt.
And other fell amidst the thorns, and the thorns having sprung up with it, choked it.
8 Némely pedig esék a jó földbe; és mikor kikelt, százannyi hasznot hoza. Ezeket mondván, kiált vala: A kinek van füle a hallásra, hallja.
And other fell on the good ground, and having sprung up, it made fruit a hundredfold.” Saying these things, He was calling, “He having ears to hear—let him hear.”
9 És megkérdék őt az ő tanítványai, mondván: Mi lehet e példázat?
And His disciples were questioning Him, saying, “What may this allegory be?”
10 Ő pedig monda nékik: Néktek adatott, hogy az Isten országának titkait értsétek; egyebeknek példázatokban, hogy látván ne lássanak, és hallván ne értsenek.
And He said, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest in allegories, that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.
11 A példázat pedig ez: A mag az Isten beszéde.
And this is the allegory: the seed is the word of God,
12 Az útfélen valók pedig azok, a kik hallják; aztán eljő az ördög, és kikapja az ígét az ő szívökből, hogy ne higyjenek és ne idvezüljenek.
and those beside the way are those hearing, then comes the Devil, and takes up the word from their heart, lest having believed, they may be saved.
13 És a kősziklán valók azok, a kik, mikor hallják, örömmel veszik az ígét; de ezeknek nincs gyökerük, a kik egy ideig hisznek, a kísértés idején pedig elszakadnak.
And those on the rock: they who, when they may hear, receive the word with joy, and these have no root, who for a time believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 És a melyik a tövis közé esett, ezek azok, a kik hallották, de elmenvén, az élet gondjaitól, és gazdagságától és gyönyörűségeitől megfojtatnak, és gyümölcsöt nem teremnek.
And that which fell to the thorns: these are they who have heard, and going forth, through anxieties, and riches, and pleasures of life, are choked, and do not bear to completion.
15 A melyik pedig a jó földbe esett, ezek azok, a kik a hallott ígét tiszta és jó szívvel megtartják, és gyümölcsöt teremnek béketűréssel.
And that in the good ground: these are they who in an upright and good heart, having heard the word, retain [it], and bear fruit in continuance.
16 Senki pedig, ha gyertyát gyújt, be nem fedi azt valami edénynyel, sem az ágy alá nem rejti; hanem a gyertyatartóba teszi, hogy a kik bemennek, lássák a világot.
And no one having lighted a lamp covers it with a vessel, or puts [it] under a bed; but he puts [it] on a lampstand, that those coming in may see the light,
17 Mert nincs oly titok, mely nyilvánvalóvá ne lenne; és nincs oly elrejtett dolog, mely ki ne tudódnék, és világosságra ne jőne.
for nothing is secret, that will not become visible, nor hid, that will not be known and become visible.
18 Meglássátok azért, mimódon hallgatjátok: mert a kinek van, annak adatik; és a kinek nincs, még a mijét gondolja is hogy van, elvétetik tőle.
See, therefore, how you hear, for whoever may have, there will be given to him, and whoever may not have, also what he seems to have will be taken from him.”
19 Jövének pedig hozzá az ő anyja és atyjafiai, de nem tudtak hozzá jutni a sokaság miatt.
And there came to Him His mother and brothers, and they were not able to get to Him because of the multitude,
20 És tudtára adák néki, mondván: A te anyád és atyádfiai künn állnak, téged akarván látni.
and it was told Him, saying, “Your mother and Your brothers stand outside, wishing to see You”;
21 Ő pedig felelvén, monda nékik: Az én anyám és az én atyámfiai ezek, a kik az Isten beszédét hallgatják, és megcselekszik azt.
and He answering said to them, “My mother and My brothers! They are those who are hearing the word of God, and doing.”
22 Lőn pedig egy napon, hogy beméne a hajóba ő és az ő tanítványai; és monda nékik: Menjünk a tónak túlsó partjára. És elindulának.
And it came to pass, on one of the days, that He Himself went into a boat with His disciples, and He said to them, “We may go over to the other side of the lake”; and they set forth,
23 De hajózásuk közben elszenderedék; és szélvész csapott le a tóra, és megmerülének, és veszedelemben valának.
and as they are sailing He fell deeply asleep, and there came down a storm of wind to the lake, and they were filling, and were in peril.
24 És hozzá menvén, felkölték őt mondván: Mester, Mester, elveszünk! Ő pedig felserkenvén, megdorgálá a szelet és a víznek habjait; és megszűnének, és lőn csendesség.
And having come near, they awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we perish!” And He, having arisen, rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and there came a calm,
25 És monda nékik: Hol van a ti hitetek? És félelemmel csodálkoznak vala, mondván egymásnak: Ugyan ki ez, hogy a szeleknek is, a víznek is parancsol, és engednek néki?
and He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they being afraid wondered, saying to one another, “Who, then, is this, that He even commands the winds and the water, and they obey Him?”
26 És evezének a Gaderénusok tartományaiba, mely Galileával átellenben van.
And they sailed down to the region of the Gadarenes that is opposite Galilee,
27 És mikor ő kiment a földre, jöve elébe a városból egy ember, kiben ördögök voltak sok időtől fogva, sem ruhába nem öltözött, sem házban nem lakott, hanem a sírboltokban.
and He having gone forth on the land, there met Him a certain man, out of the city, who had demons for a long time, and was not clothed with a garment, and was not abiding in a house, but in the tombs,
28 És mikor meglátta Jézust, felkiálta és lábai elé esék néki, és fenszóval monda: Mi közöm van nékem te veled, Jézus, felséges Istennek Fia? kérlek téged, ne gyötörj engem.
and having seen Jesus, and having cried out, he fell before Him, and with a loud voice, said, “What [regards] me and You, Jesus, Son of God Most High? I implore You, may You not afflict me!”
29 Mert azt parancsolá annak a tisztátalan léleknek, hogy menjen ki az emberből. Mert gyakran elragadá őt: annakokáért lánczokkal és békókkal megkötözve őrizteték; de a kötelékeket elszaggatván, az ördögtől a pusztákba hajtaték.
For He commanded the unclean spirit to come forth from the man, for many times it had caught him, and he was being bound with chains and shackles—guarded, and breaking apart the bonds he was driven by the demons into the deserts.
30 Megkérdé pedig őt Jézus, mondván: Mi a neved? És ő monda: Légió; mert sok ördög ment vala bele.
And Jesus questioned him, saying, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” because many demons were entered into him,
and he was calling on Him that He may not command them to go away into the abyss, (Abyssos g12)
32 Vala pedig ott egy nagy disznónyáj, legelészve a hegyen; és kérék őt, hogy engedje meg nékik, hogy azokba menjenek. És megengedé nékik.
and there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain, and they were calling on Him that He might permit them to enter into these, and He permitted them,
33 És minekutána kimentek az ördögök az emberből, bemenének a disznókba; és a disznónyáj a meredekről a tóba rohana, és megfullada.
and the demons having gone forth from the man, entered into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep into the lake, and were drowned.
34 A pásztorok pedig látván mi történt, elfutának, és elmenvén, hírré adák a városban és a falukban.
And those feeding [them], having seen what was come to pass, fled, and having gone, told [it] to the city, and to the fields;
35 Kimenének azért megnézni mi történt; és menének Jézushoz, és ülve találák az embert, kiből az ördögök kimentek, felöltözve és eszénél, a Jézus lábainál; és megfélemlének.
and they came forth to see what was come to pass, and they came to Jesus, and found the man sitting, out of whom the demons had gone forth, clothed, and right-minded, at the feet of Jesus, and they were afraid;
36 Elbeszélék pedig nékik azok is, a kik látták, mimódon szabadult meg az ördöngős.
and those also having seen [it], told them how the demoniac was saved.
37 És kéré őt a Gadarénusok körül való tartományok egész sokasága, hogy ő közülök menjen el, mert felette igen félnek vala: ő pedig beülvén a hajóba, visszatére.
And the whole multitude of the region of the Gadarenes asked Him to go away from them, because they were pressed with great fear, and He having entered into the boat, turned back.
38 Kéré pedig őt az az ember, a kiből az ördögök kimentek, hogy ő vele lehessen; de Jézus elbocsátá őt, mondván:
And the man from whom the demons had gone forth was imploring of Him to be with Him, and Jesus sent him away, saying,
39 Térj vissza házadhoz, és beszéld el, mely nagy dolgokat tett az Isten veled. Elméne azért, hirdetvén az egész városban, mely nagy dolgokat cselekedett Jézus ő vele.
“Return to your house, and tell how God did great things to you”; and he went away through all the city proclaiming how Jesus did great things to him.
40 És lőn, hogy mikor Jézus visszatért, a nép örömmel fogadá őt; mert mindnyájan várják vala őt.
And it came to pass, in the turning back of Jesus, the multitude received Him, for they were all looking for Him,
41 És ímé eljöve egy ember, kinek Jairus vala neve, ki a zsinagógának feje volt; és Jézus lábai előtt leesvén, kéré őt, hogy menjen be az ő házába;
and behold, there came a man whose name [is] Jairus, and he was a chief of the synagogue, and having fallen at the feet of Jesus, was calling on Him to come to his house,
42 Mert vala néki egy egyetlen leánya, mintegy tizenkét esztendős, és az halálán volt. Mikor pedig ő méne, a sokaság szorongatá őt.
because he had an only daughter about twelve years [old], and she was dying. And in His going away, the multitudes were thronging Him,
43 És egy asszony, ki vérfolyásban volt tizenkét esztendőtől fogva, és bár minden vagyonát az orvosokra költötte, senki meg nem tudta gyógyítani,
and a woman, being with a flow of blood for twelve years, who, having spent all her living on physicians, was not able to be healed by any,
44 Hátulról hozzá járulván, illeté az ő ruhájának peremét; és azonnal elálla vérének folyása.
having come near behind, touched the fringe of His garment, and immediately the flow of her blood stood still.
45 És monda Jézus: Ki az, a ki engem illete? És mikor mindnyájan tagadták, monda Péter és a kik ő vele valának: Mester, a sokaság nyom és szorongat téged, és azt mondod: Ki az, a ki engem illete?
And Jesus said, “Who [is] it that touched Me?” And all denying, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes press You, and throng [You], and You say, Who [is] it that touched Me?”
46 Jézus pedig monda: Illete engem valaki; mert én észrevettem, hogy erő származék ki tőlem.
And Jesus said, “Someone touched Me, for I knew power having gone forth from Me.”
47 Mikor pedig látta az asszony; hogy nem maradt titokban, reszketve előjöve és előtte leesvén, megjelenté néki az egész sokaság előtt, miért illette őt, és hogy azonnal meggyógyult.
And the woman, having seen that she was not hid, trembling, came, and having fallen before Him, for what cause she touched Him declared to Him before all the people, and how she was healed instantly;
48 És ő monda néki: Bízzál leányom, a te hited megtartott téged; eredj el békességgel!
and He said to her, “Take courage, daughter, your faith has saved you, be going on to peace.”
49 Mikor még a szó szájában vala, eljöve egy ember a zsinagóga fejének házától, mondván néki: Meghalt a leányod; ne fáraszd a Mestert!
While He is yet speaking, there comes a certain one from the chief of the synagogue’s [house], saying to him, “Your daughter has died, do not harass the Teacher”;
50 Jézus pedig mikor ezt hallotta, felele néki, mondván: Ne félj; csak higyj, és megtartatik.
and Jesus having heard, answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid, only believe, and she will be saved.”
51 Bemenvén pedig a házba, senkit nem bocsáta be, csak Pétert, Jakabot, Jánost és a leányzó atyját és anyját.
And having come into the house, He permitted no one to go in, except Peter, and James, and John, and the father of the child, and the mother;
52 Sírának pedig mindnyájan, és gyászolák azt; ő pedig monda: Ne sírjatok; nem halt meg, hanem aluszik.
and they were all weeping, and beating themselves for her, and He said, “Do not weep, she did not die, but sleeps”;
53 És kineveték őt, tudván, hogy meghalt.
and they were deriding Him, knowing that she died;
54 Ő pedig mindenkit kiküldvén, és a leányzó kezét megfogván, kiálta, mondván: Leányzó, kelj fel!
and He having put all forth outside, and having taken hold of her hand, called, saying, “Child, arise”;
55 És visszatére annak lelke, és azonnal fölkele; és ő parancsolá, hogy adjanak néki enni.
and her spirit came back, and she arose immediately, and He directed that there be given to her to eat;
56 És elálmélkodának annak szülei; ő pedig megparancsolá, hogy senkinek ne mondják, a mi történt.
and her parents were amazed, but He charged them to say to no one what had come to pass.
