Lukács 5
1 És lőn, hogy mikor a sokaság hozzá tódult, hogy hallgassa az Isten beszédét, ő a Genezáret tavánál áll vala;
Now it happened, as he stood by the lake Gennesareth, the multitude pressing upon him to hear the word of God;
2 És láta két hajót állani a vizen: a halászok pedig, miután azokból kiszállottak, mossák vala az ő hálóikat.
that seeing two barks aground, near the shore, the fishermen having landed to wash their nets,
3 És ő bemenvén az egyik hajóba, a mely a Simoné vala, kéré őt, hogy vigye egy kissé beljebb a földtől: és mikor leült, a hajóból tanítá a sokaságot.
he went aboard one of them, which was Simon's; and desiring him to put off a little from the land, sat down, and taught the people out of the bark.
4 Mikor pedig megszünt beszélni, monda Simonnak: Evezz a mélyre, és vessétek ki hálóitokat fogásra.
When he had done speaking, he said to Simon, Launch out into deep water, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 És felelvén Simon, monda néki: Mester, jóllehet az egész éjszaka fáradtunk, még sem fogtunk semmit: mindazáltal a te parancsolatodra levetem a hálót.
Simon answered, Master, we have toiled all night, and have caught nothing; nevertheless, at your word, I will let down the net.
6 És ezt megtévén, halaknak nagy sokaságát keríték be; szakadoz vala pedig az ő hálójuk.
Having done this, they inclosed such a multitude of fishes, that the net began to break.
7 Intének azért társaiknak, a kik a másik hajóban valának, hogy jőjjenek és segítsenek nékik. És eljövén, megtölték mind a két hajót, annyira, hogy csaknem elsülyedének.
And they beckoned to their companions, in the other bark, to come and help them. And they came, and loaded both their barks, so that they were near sinking.
8 Látván pedig ezt Simon Péter, Jézusnak lábai elé esék, mondván: Eredj el én tőlem, mert én bűnös ember vagyok, Uram!
When Simon Peter saw this, he threw himself at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.
9 Mert félelem fogta körül őt és mindazokat, a kik ő vele valának, a halfogás miatt, a melyet fogtak;
For the draught of fishes which they had taken had filled him and all his companions with terror,
10 Hasonlóképen Jakabot és Jánost is, a Zebedeus fiait, a kik Simonnak társai valának. És monda Simonnak Jézus: Ne félj; mostantól fogva embereket fogsz.
particularly James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were Simon's partners. And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not, henceforth you shall catch men.
11 És a hajókat a szárazra vonván, elhagyák mindenöket és követék őt.
And having brought their barks to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
12 És lőn, hogy mikor az egyik városban vala, ímé vala ott egy poklossággal teljes ember: és mikor meglátta Jézust, arczra borulva kéré őt, mondván: Uram, ha akarod, megtisztíthatsz engem!
When he was in one of the neighboring cities, a man covered with leprosy, happened to see him, threw himself on his face, and besought him, saying, Master, if you will, you can cleanse me.
13 Jézus pedig kinyújtván kezét, illeté azt, mondván: Akarom, tisztulj meg. És azonnal eltávozék tőle a bélpoklosság.
Jesus stretching out his hand, and touching him, said, I will; be you cleansed. That instant his leprosy departed from him.
14 És ő megparancsolá néki, hogy azt senkinek se mondja el; hanem eredj el, úgymond, mutasd meg magad a papnak, és vígy áldozatot a te megtisztulásodért, a mint Mózes parancsolta, bizonyságul ő nékik.
And he commanded him to tell no person. But go, said he, show yourself to the priest, and present the offered appointed by Moses, for notifying the people that you are cleansed.
15 A hír azonban annál inkább terjedt ő felőle; és nagy sokaság gyűle egybe, hogy őt hallgassák, és hogy általa meggyógyuljanak az ő betegségeikből.
Yet so much the more was Jesus everywhere talked of, that vast multitudes flocked to hear him, and to be cured by him of their maladies.
16 De ő félrevonula a pusztákba, és imádkozék.
And he withdrew into solitary places, and prayed.
17 És lőn egy napon, hogy ő tanít vala: és ott ülének a farizeusok és a törvénynek tanítói, a kik jöttek Galileának és Júdeának minden faluiból és Jeruzsálemből: és az Úrnak hatalma vala ő vele, hogy gyógyítson.
One day, as he was teaching, and Pharisees, and doctors of law, who had come from Jerusalem, and from every town of Galilee and Judea, were sitting by, the power of the Lord was exerted in the sure of the sick.
18 És ímé valami férfiak ágyon egy embert hozának, a ki gutaütött vala; és igyekezének azt bevinni és ő elébe tenni.
And, behold, some men carrying on a bed a man afflicted with a palsy, endeavored to bring him in, and place him before Jesus;
19 De nem találván módot, hogy a sokaság miatt mikép vigyék őt be, felhágának a háztetőre, és a cseréphéjazaton át bocsáták őt alá ágyastól Jézus elé a középre.
but finding it impracticable, by reason of the crowd, they got upon the roof, and let him down through the tiling, with the little bed, in the midst before him.
20 És látván azoknak hitét, monda: Ember, megbocsáttattak néked a te bűneid.
Jesus perceiving their faith, said, Man, your sins are forgiven you.
21 Az írástudók pedig és a farizeusok elkezdének tanakodni, mondván: Kicsoda ez, a ki ily káromlást szól? Ki bocsáthatja meg a bűnt, hanemha egyedül az Isten?
On which the Scribes and the Pharisees reasoned thus, Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Can any one forgive sins except God?
22 Jézus pedig észrevévén az ő tanakodásukat, felelvén, monda nékik: Mit tanakodtok a ti szívetekben?
Jesus knowing their thoughts, addressed himself to them, and said, What are you reasoning in your hearts?
23 Melyik könnyebb, azt mondani: Megbocsáttattak néked a te bűneid; vagy azt mondani: Kelj fel és járj?
Which is easier, to say, Your sins are forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and walk?
24 Hogy pedig megtudjátok, hogy az ember Fiának van hatalma e földön megbocsátani a bűnöket, (monda a gutaütöttnek): Néked mondom, kelj fel, és fölvévén nyoszolyádat, eredj haza!
But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins, Arise, said he to the palsied man, take up your bed, and return to your house.
25 És az rögtön felkelvén azok szemeláttára, fölvevé a min feküdt, és elméne haza, dicsőítvén az Istent.
That instant he rose in their presence, took up his bed, and returned home, glorifying God.
26 És az álmélkodás elfogá mindnyájukat, és dicsőíték az Istent, és betelének félelemmel, mondván: Bizony csodadolgokat láttunk ma!
Seeing this, they were all struck with amazement and reverence, and glorified God, saying, We have seen wonderful things to-day.
27 Ezek után pedig kiméne, és láta egy Lévi nevű vámszedőt, a ki a vámnál ül vala, és monda néki: Kövess engem!
After this, he went out, and observing a publican, named Levi, sitting at the toll-office, said to him, Follow me.
28 És az mindeneket elhagyván, felkele és követé őt.
And he arose, left all, and followed him.
29 És Lévi nagy lakomát készíte néki az ő házánál; és vala ott nagy sokasága a vámszedőknek és egyebeknek, a kik ő velök letelepedtek volt.
And Levi made him a great entertainment in his own house, where there was a great company of publicans and others, at table with them.
30 És köztük az írástudók és farizeusok zúgolódának az ő tanítványai ellen, mondván: Miért esztek és isztok a vámszedőkkel és a bűnösökkel?
But the Scribes and the Pharisees of the place murmured, saying to his disciples, Why do you eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
31 És felelvén Jézus, monda nékik: Az egészségeseknek nincs szükségük orvosra, hanem a betegeknek.
Jesus answering, said to them, It is not the healthy, but the sick, who need a physician.
32 Nem azért jöttem, hogy az igazakat hívjam, hanem a bűnösöket a megtérésre.
I am come to call, not the righteous, but sinners, to reformation.
33 Azok pedig mondának néki: Mi az oka, hogy a János tanítványai gyakorta bőjtölnek és imádkoznak, valamint a farizeusokéi is; a te tanítványaid pedig esznek és isznak?
Then they asked him, How is it that the disciples of John, and likewise those of the Pharisees, frequently fast and pray, but yours eat and drink?
34 Ő pedig monda nékik: Avagy mívelhetitek-é azt, hogy a lakodalmasok bőjtöljenek, a míg a vőlegény velök van?
He answered, Would you have the bridemen fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
35 De eljőnek a napok, és mikor a vőlegény elvétetik ő tőlök, akkor majd bőjtölnek azokban a napokban.
But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them: in those days they will fast.
36 És monda nékik példabeszédet is: Senki nem toldja az új posztó foltot az ó posztóhoz; mert különben az újat is megszakasztja és az ó posztóhoz nem illik az újból való folt.
He added this similitude, No man mends an old mantle with new cloth; otherwise the new will rend the old; besides, the old and new will never suit each other.
37 És senki sem tölti az új bort ó tömlőkbe; mert különben az új bor megszakasztja a tömlőket, és a bor kiömöl, és a tömlők is elvesznek.
No person puts new wine into old leather bottles; otherwise, the new wine will burst the bottles, and thus the wine will be spoiled, and the bottles rendered useless.
38 Hanem az új bort új tömlőkbe kell tölteni, és mind a kettő megmarad.
But if new wine be put into new bottles, both will be preserved.
39 És senki, a ki ó bort iszik, mindjárt újat nem kiván, mert azt mondja: Jobb az ó.
Besides, a man, after drinking old wine, calls not immediately for new; for he says, The old is milder.
