Lukács 24
1 A hétnek első napján pedig kora reggel a sírhoz menének, vivén az elkészített fűszerszámokat, és némely más asszonyok is velök.
And on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared; (and some others with them: ) and found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre:
2 És a követ a sírról elhengerítve találák.
so they went in,
3 És mikor bementek, nem találák az Úr Jézus testét.
but found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 És lőn, hogy mikor ők e felett megdöbbenének, ímé két férfiú álla melléjök fényes öltözetben:
And while they were in perplexity about it, behold, two men stood by them in shining robes.
5 És mikor ők megrémülvén a földre hajták orczájokat, azok mondának nékik: Mit keresitek a holtak között az élőt?
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the ground, the men said unto them, Why do ye seek the living among the dead?
6 Nincs itt, hanem feltámadott: emlékezzetek rá, mint beszélt néktek, még mikor Galileában volt,
He is not here, He is risen: remember how He spake to you, when He was yet in Galilee,
7 Mondván: Szükség az ember Fiának átadatni a bűnös emberek kezébe, és megfeszíttetni, és harmadnapon feltámadni.
saying, the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of wicked men, and be crucified; and the third day rise again.
8 Megemlékezének azért az ő szavairól.
And they remembered his words,
9 És visszatérvén a sírtól, elmondák mindezeket a tizenegynek, és mind a többieknek.
and returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things to the eleven apostles, and to all the rest.
10 Valának pedig Mária Magdaléna, és Johanna, és a Jakab anyja Mária, és egyéb asszonyok ő velök, a kik ezeket mondák az apostoloknak.
Now it was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, that told these things to the apostles:
11 De az ő szavuk csak üres beszédnek látszék azok előtt; és nem hivének nékik.
and their words appeared to them as an idle tale, and they did not believe them.
12 Péter azonban felkelvén elfuta a sírhoz, és behajolván látá, hogy csak a lepedők vannak ott; és elméne, magában csodálkozván e dolgon.
But Peter arose and ran to the sepulchre; and stooping down he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves: and he went away, wondering in himself at what had happened.
13 És ímé azok közül ketten mennek vala ugyanazon a napon egy faluba, mely Jeruzsálemtől hatvan futamatnyira vala, melynek neve vala Emmaus.
And behold two of them were going that day to a village about threescore furlongs from Jerusalem, called Emmaus.
14 És beszélgetének magok közt mindazokról, a mik történtek.
And they were conversing together about all these things which had happened.
15 És lőn, hogy a mint beszélgetének és egymástól kérdezősködének, maga Jézus hozzájok menvén, velök együtt megy vala az úton.
And while they were discoursing and reasoning together, Jesus himself drew near and went along with them.
16 De az ő szemeik visszatartóztatának, hogy őt meg ne ismerjék.
But their eyes were so restrained that they did not know Him.
17 Monda pedig nékik: Micsoda szavak ezek, a melyeket egymással váltotok jártotokban? és miért vagytok szomorú ábrázattal?
And He said unto them, What subjects are these, which ye are discoursing of to one another as ye walk, and why are ye sorrowful?
18 Felelvén pedig az egyik, kinek neve Kleofás, monda néki: Csak te vagy-é jövevény Jeruzsálemben, és nem tudod minémű dolgok lettek abban e napokon?
And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answered and said to Him, Art thou only a sojourner at Jerusalem, and hast not heard of the things which have been done there within these few days?
19 És monda nékik: Micsoda dolgok? Azok pedig mondának néki: A melyek esének a Názáretbeli Jézuson, ki próféta vala, cselekedetben és beszédben hatalmas Isten előtt és az egész nép előtt:
And He said unto them, What things? And they replied, Those concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet powerful both in work and word before God and all the people:
20 És mimódon adák őt a főpapok és a mi főembereink halálos ítéletre, és megfeszíték őt.
how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him.
21 Pedig mi azt reméltük, hogy ő az, a ki meg fogja váltani az Izráelt. De mindezek mellett ma van harmadnapja, hogy ezek lettek.
But we hoped that it was He that would have delivered Israel: and besides all this, to-day is the third day since these things were done.
22 Hanem valami közülünk való asszonyok is megdöbbentettek minket, kik jó reggel a sírnál valának;
And indeed some women of our company much surprised us: who having been early at the sepulchre,
23 És mikor nem találták az ő testét, haza jöttek, mondván, hogy angyalok jelenését is látták, kik azt mondják, hogy ő él.
and not finding his body there, came and said likewise that they had seen a vision of angels, who said He was alive.
24 És azok közül némelyek, kik velünk valának, elmenének a sírhoz, és úgy találák, a mint az asszonyok is mondták; őt pedig nem látták.
And some of those that were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it so as the women had said: but Him they did not see.
25 És ő monda nékik: Óh balgatagok és rest szívűek mindazoknak elhivésére, a miket a próféták szóltak!
And He said unto them, O people void of understanding and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.
26 Avagy nem ezeket kellett-é szenvedni a Krisztusnak, és úgy menni be az ő dicsőségébe?
Was not the Messiah to suffer these things, and so to enter into his glory?
27 És elkezdvén Mózestől és minden prófétáktól fogva, magyarázza vala nékik minden írásokban, a mik ő felőle megirattak.
And beginning from Moses, and all the prophets, He explained to them in all the scriptures the things that were spoken concerning Himself.
28 Elközelítének pedig a faluhoz, a melybe mennek vala; és ő úgy tőn, mintha tovább menne.
And they drew nigh to the village whither they were going: and He made as if He was going farther.
29 De kényszeríték őt, mondván: Maradj velünk, mert immár beestvéledik, és a nap lehanyatlott! Beméne azért, hogy velök maradjon.
And they pressed Him, saying, Stay with us, for it is towards evening, and the day is far spent. And He went in to tarry with them.
30 És lőn, mikor leült velök, a kenyeret vévén, megáldá, és megszegvén, nékik adá.
And as He sat at table with them, He took bread and blessed it, and then brake it and gave to them.
31 És megnyilatkozának az ő szemeik, és megismerék őt; de ő eltünt előlük.
And their eyes were opened, and they knew Him.
32 És mondának egymásnak: Avagy nem gerjedezett-é a mi szívünk mi bennünk, mikor nékünk szóla az úton, és mikor magyarázá nékünk az írásokat?
And He disappeared from them. And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, as He was talking with us by the way, and while He was opening to us the scriptures?
33 És felkelvén azon órában, visszatérének Jeruzsálembe, és egybegyűlve találák a tizenegyet és azokat, a kik velök valának.
And they rose up immediately and returned to Jerusalem; and sound the eleven and others with them assembled together, saying,
34 Kik ezt mondják vala: Feltámadott az Úr bizonynyal, és megjelent Simonnak!
The Lord is risen indeed, and hath been seen by Simon.
35 És ezek is elbeszélék, mi történt az úton, és miképen ismerték meg ők a kenyér megszegéséről.
Then these also related what had happened by the way, and how He became known to them in breaking of bread.
36 És mikor ezeket beszélék, megálla maga Jézus ő közöttök, és monda nékik: Békesség néktek!
And as they were thus speaking, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be to you.
37 Megrémülvén pedig és félvén, azt hivék, hogy valami lelket látnak.
But they being terrified and frighted, thought they saw a spirit.
38 És monda nékik: Miért háborodtatok meg, és miért támadnak szívetekben okoskodások?
And He said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why do such thoughts rise in your hearts?
39 Lássátok meg az én kezeimet és lábaimat, hogy én magam vagyok: tapogassatok meg engem, és lássatok; mert a léleknek nincs húsa és csontja, a mint látjátok, hogy nékem van!
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 És ezeket mondván, megmutatá nékik kezeit és lábait.
And when He said this, He shewed them his hands and feet.
41 Mikor pedig még nem hívék az öröm miatt, és csodálkozának, monda nékik: Van-é itt valami enni valótok?
But they not yet believing for joy, and being amazed, He said to them, Have ye here any thing to eat?
42 Ők pedig adának néki egy darab sült halat, és valami lépesmézet,
And they gave Him part of a broiled fish and some honey-comb:
43 Melyeket elvőn, és előttök evék.
and He took, and did eat before them.
44 És monda nékik: Ezek azok a beszédek, melyeket szóltam néktek, mikor még veletek valék, hogy szükség beteljesedni mindazoknak, a mik megirattak a Mózes törvényében, a prófétáknál és a zsoltárokban én felőlem.
And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all the things must be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and Psalms, concerning me.
45 Akkor megnyilatkoztatá az ő elméjöket, hogy értsék az írásokat.
Then He opened their mind, to understand the scriptures:
46 És monda nékik: Így van megírva, és így kellett szenvedni a Krisztusnak, és feltámadni a halálból harmadnapon:
and said unto them, thus it is written, and thus it was necessary that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead on the third day;
47 És prédikáltatni az ő nevében a megtérésnek és a bűnök bocsánatának minden pogányok között, Jeruzsálemtől elkezdve.
and that in his name should be preached repentance and remission of sins to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 Ti vagytok pedig ezeknek bizonyságai.
And ye are witnesses of these things: and I will send upon you the promise of my Father;
49 És ímé én elküldöm ti reátok az én Atyámnak ígéretét; ti pedig maradjatok Jeruzsálem városában, mígnem felruháztattok mennyei erővel.
but do ye continue in the city of Jerusalem, till ye are endued with power from on high.
50 Kivivé pedig őket Bethániáig; és felemelvén az ő kezeit, megáldá őket.
And He led them out as far as to Bethany: and lifted up his hands and blessed them.
51 És lőn, hogy míg áldá őket, tőlök elszakadván, felviteték a mennybe.
And while He was blessing them, He was parted from them, and was carried up into heaven.
52 Ők pedig imádván őt, visszatérének nagy örömmel Jeruzsálembe;
And they worshipped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
53 És mindenkor a templomban valának, dícsérvén és áldván az Istent. Ámen.
And they were constantly in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
