Lukács 22
1 Elközelgetett pedig a kovásztalan kenyerek ünnepe, mely husvétnak mondatik.
And the feast of the unleavened bread, which is called a Passover, was drawing near.
2 És a főpapok és az írástudók keresnek vala módot, hogyan öljék meg őt; mert féltek a néptől.
And the High-priests and the Scribes were seeking, how they might get rid of him; for they feared the people.
3 Beméne pedig a Sátán Júdásba, ki Iskáriótesnek neveztetik, és a tizenkettőnek számából vala;
But Satan entered into Judas, him called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve;
4 És elmenvén, megbeszélé a főpapokkal és a vezérekkel, mimódon adja őt nékik kezökbe.
and, departing, he conversed with the High-priests and Captains, as to how, unto them, he might deliver him up.
5 És azok örülének, és megszerződének, hogy pénzt adnak néki;
And they rejoiced, and bargained with him to give him, silver;
6 Ő pedig megigéré, és keres vala jó alkalmat, hogy őt nékik kezökbe adja zenebona nélkül.
and he freely consented, and began seeking a good opportunity for delivering him up, in the absence of a multitude, unto them.
7 Eljöve pedig a kovásztalan kenyerek napja, melyen meg kelle öletni a husvéti báránynak;
Now the day of the unleavened bread a came, —on which it was needful to be sacrificing the passover.
8 És elküldé Pétert és Jánost, mondván: Elmenvén, készítsétek el nékünk a husvéti bárányt, hogy megegyük.
And he sent forth Peter and John, saying—Go, and make ready, for us, the passover, that we may eat.
9 Ők pedig mondának néki: Hol akarod, hogy elkészítsük?
And, they, said unto him—Where wiliest thou, we should make ready?
10 És ő monda nékik: Ímé, mikor bementek a városba, szembe jő veletek egy ember, ki egy korsó vizet visz; kövessétek őt abba a házba, a melybe bemegy.
And, he, said unto them—Lo! when ye have entered into the city, there will meet you a man, bearing, an earthen-jar of water: follow him into the house into which he is entering.
11 És mondjátok a ház gazdájának: Ezt mondja néked a Mester: Hol van az a szállás, a hol megeszem az én tanítványaimmal a husvéti bárányt?
And ye shall say unto the master of the house—The teacher saith unto thee, where is the lodging, where, the passover, with my disciples, I may eat?
12 És ő mutat néktek egy nagy vacsoráló helyet, berendezve, ott készítsétek el.
And, he, unto you, will shew, a large upper room, spread: there, make ready.
13 Elmenvén pedig, úgy találák, a mint mondta nékik; és elkészíték a húsvéti bárányt.
And, departing, they found according as he had said unto them, and made ready the passover.
14 És mikor eljött az idő, asztalhoz üle, és a tizenkét apostol ő vele egyetembe.
And, when the hour arrived, he reclined, and the apostles with him.
15 És monda nékik: Kívánva kívántam a husvéti bárányt megenni veletek, melőtt én szenvednék:
And he said unto them—I have greatly desired, to eat, this passover, with you before I suffer;
16 Mert mondom néktek, hogy többé nem eszem abból, míglen beteljesedik az Isten országában.
For, I say unto you—In nowise shall I eat it, until it have been fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 És a pohárt vévén, minekutána hálákat adott, monda: Vegyétek ezt, és osszátok el magatok között:
And, accepting a cup, giving thanks, he said—Take this, and divide among yourselves;
18 Mert mondom néktek, hogy nem iszom a szőlőtőkének gyümölcséből, míglen eljő az Isten országa.
For, I say unto you—In nowise shall I drink henceforth of the fruit of the vine, until, the kingdom of God, shall come.
19 És minekutána a kenyeret vette, hálákat adván megszegé, és adá nékik, mondván: Ez az én testem, mely ti érettetek adatik: ezt cselekedjétek az én emlékezetemre.
And, taking a loaf, he gave thanks, and brake, and gave unto them, saying—This is my body which in your behalf is being given: this, be ye doing, in remembrance, of me.
20 Hasonlóképen a pohárt is, minekutána vacsorált, ezt mondván: E pohár amaz új szövetség az én véremben, mely ti érettetek kiontatik.
And—the cup, in like manner, after the taking of supper, saying—This cup, is the new covenant in my blood, which, in your behalf, is to be poured out.
21 De ímé annak a keze, a ki engem elárul, velem van az asztalon.
Nevertheless, lo! the hand of him who is delivering me up, is with me upon the table.
22 És az embernek Fia jóllehet, elmegy, mint elvégeztetett: de jaj annak az embernek, a ki által elárultatik!
Because, the Son of Man, indeed, according to what is marked out, goeth his way; nevertheless, alas! for that man through whom he is being delivered up.
23 És ők kezdék egymás között kérdezni, vajjon ki lehet az ő közöttük, a ki ezt meg fogja tenni?
And, they, began to be enquiring together, among themselves, as to which, then, it could be, from among them, who, this thing, was about to perpetrate!
24 Támada pedig köztük versengés is, hogy ki tekinthető köztük nagyobbnak.
And it came to pass that there was, a rivalry also, among them, as to which of them seemed to be greater [than the rest].
25 Ő pedig monda nékik: A pogányokon uralkodnak az ő királyaik, és a kiknek azokon hatalmuk van, jóltévőknek hivatnak.
And, he, said unto them—The kings of the nations, lord it over them, and, they who wield authority over them, benefactors, are called.
26 De ti nem úgy: hanem a ki legnagyobb köztetek, olyan legyen, mint a ki legkisebb; és a ki fő, mint a ki szolgál.
But, ye, not so! On the contrary—the greater among you, Let him become as, the younger, and, he that governeth, as, he that ministereth,
27 Mert melyik nagyobb, az-é, a ki asztalnál ül, vagy a ki szolgál? nemde a ki asztalnál ül? De én ti köztetek olyan vagyok, mint a ki szolgál.
For which is greater—he that reclineth? or he that ministereth? Is not he that reclineth? But, I, am, in your midst, as he that ministereth,
28 Ti vagytok pedig azok, kik megmaradtatok én velem az én kísérteteimben;
Ye, however, are they who have remained throughout with me in my temptations;
29 Én azért adok néktek, miképen az én Atyám adott nékem, országot,
And, I, covenant unto you—as my Father hath covenanted unto me—a kingdom,
30 Hogy egyetek és igyatok az én asztalomon az én országomban, és üljetek királyi székeken, ítélvén az Izráelnek tizenkét nemzetségét.
That ye may eat and drink, at my table, in my kingdom, and sit upon thrones, judging, the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 Monda pedig az Úr: Simon! Simon! ímé a Sátán kikért titeket, hogy megrostáljon, mint a búzát;
Simon! Simon! lo! Satan, hath claimed you, to sift as wheat;
32 De én imádkoztam érted, hogy el ne fogyatkozzék a te hited: te azért idővel megtérvén, a te atyádfiait erősítsed.
But, I, have entreated for thee, that thy faith may not fail. And, thou, once thou hast turned, strengthen thy brethren.
33 Ő pedig monda néki: Uram, te veled kész vagyok mind tömlöczre, mind halálra menni!
But, he, said unto him—Lord! with thee, am I, ready, both into prison and unto death, to be going.
34 És ő monda: Mondom néked Péter: Ma nem szól addig a kakas, míg te háromszor meg nem tagadod, hogy ismersz engem.
And, he, said: I tell thee, Peter—A cock will not crow this day, until, thrice, thou deny that thou knowest me.
35 És monda nékik: Mikor elküldtelek benneteket erszény, táska és saru nélkül, volt-é valamiben fogyatkozástok? Ők pedig mondának: Semmiben sem.
And he said unto them—When I sent you forth, without purse or satchel or sandals, of anything, came ye short? And, they, said—Of nothing!
36 Monda azért nékik: De most, a kinek erszénye van elővegye, hasonlóképen a táskát; és a kinek nincs, adja el felső ruháját, és vegyen szablyát.
And he said unto them—But, now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, in like manner also, a satchel; and, he that hath nothing, let him sell his mantle, and buy a sword!
37 Mert mondom néktek, hogy még ennek az írásnak be kell teljesülni rajtam, hogy: És a gonoszok közé számláltatott. Mert a mik reám vonatkoznak is, elvégeztetnek.
For I say unto you—This that is written, must needs be completed in me, —And, with lawless ones, was he reckoned; for, even that which concerneth me, hath, completion.
38 Azok pedig mondának: Uram, ímé van itt két szablya. Ő pedig monda: Elég.
And, they, said—Lord, lo! two swords, here! And, he, said unto them—’Tis, enough!
39 És kimenvén, méne az ő szokása szerint az Olajfák hegyére; követék pedig őt az ő tanítványai is.
And going out, he went, according to his custom, unto the Mount of Olives; and the disciples [also] followed him.
40 És mikor ott a helyen vala, monda nékik: Imádkozzatok, hogy kísértetbe ne essetek.
And, coming up to the place, he said unto them—Be praying, lest ye enter into temptation.
41 És ő eltávozék tőlök mintegy kőhajításnyira; és térdre esvén, imádkozék,
And, he, was torn from them about a stone’s throw; and, bending his knees, he began to pray,
42 Mondván: Atyám, ha akarod, távoztasd el tőlem e pohárt; mindazáltal ne az én akaratom, hanem a tiéd legyen!
saying—Father! if thou please, bear aside this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but thine, be accomplished.
43 És angyal jelenék meg néki mennyből, erősítvén őt.
And there appeared unto him a messenger from heaven, strengthening him, —
44 És haláltusában lévén, buzgóságosabban imádkozék; és az ő verítéke olyan vala, mint a nagy vércseppek, melyek a földre hullanak.
and, coming to be in an agony, more intensely, was he praying; and his perspiration became, as if great drops of blood, falling upon the ground.
45 És minekutána fölkelt az imádkozástól, az ő tanítványaihoz menvén, aludva találá őket a szomorúság miatt,
And, arising from prayer, he came unto his disciples, and found them falling asleep by reason of their grief;
46 És monda nékik: Mit alusztok? Keljetek fel és imádkozzatok, hogy kísértetbe ne essetek.
and he said unto them—Why are ye slumbering? Arise! and be praying, lest ye enter into temptation.
47 És mikor még beszéle, ímé sokaság jöve, melynek az méne előtte, a ki Júdásnak neveztetik, egy a tizenkettő közül: és közelgete Jézushoz, hogy őt megcsókolja.
While yet he was speaking, lo! a multitude; and, he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them on, —and he drew near unto Jesus, to kiss him.
48 Jézus pedig monda néki: Júdás, csókkal árulod el az embernek Fiát?
But, Jesus, said to him—Judas! with a kiss, the Son of Man, dost thou deliver up?
49 Látván pedig azok, a kik ő körülötte valának, a mi következik, mondának néki: Uram, vágjuk-é őket fegyverrel?
And they who were about him, seeing what would be, said—Lord! shall we smite with the sword?
50 És közülök valaki megvágá a főpap szolgáját, és levágá annak jobb fülét.
And a certain one from among them smote, the High-priest’s, servant, and took off his right ear.
51 Felelvén pedig Jézus, monda: Elég eddig. És illetvén annak fülét, meggyógyítá azt.
But Jesus, answering, said—Let be—as long as this! …And, touching the ear, he healed him.
52 Monda pedig Jézus azoknak, a kik ő hozzá mentek, a főpapoknak, a templom tisztjeinek és a véneknek: Mint valami latorra, úgy jöttetek szablyákkal és fustélyokkal?
And Jesus said unto the High-priests, and Captains of the temple, and Elders, who had come against him—As against a robber, have ye come out, with swords and clubs?
53 Mikor minden nap veletek voltam a templomban, a ti kezeiteket nem vetétek én reám; de ez a ti órátok, és a sötétségnek hatalma.
Daily, was I with you, in the temple, and yet ye stretched not forth your hands against me! …But, this, is your hour, and the authority of darkness.
54 Megfogván azért őt, elvezeték, és elvivék a főpap házába. Péter pedig követi vala távol.
And, having arrested him, they led him away, and took him into the house of the High-priest; and, Peter, was following afar.
55 És mikor tüzet gerjesztettek az udvar közepén, és ők együtt leültek, Péter is leüle ő velök.
And, they having kindled up a fire in the midst of the court, and taken seats together, Peter was for sitting among them.
56 És meglátván őt egy szolgálóleány, a mint a világosságnál ült, szemeit reá vetvén, monda: Ez is ő vele vala!
But, a certain maid-servant, seeing him seating himself towards the light, and looking steadfastly at him, said—This one also, was, with him.
57 Ő pedig megtagadá őt, mondván: Asszony, nem ismerem őt!
But, he, denied, saying—I know him not, woman!
58 És egy kevéssel azután más látván őt, monda: Te is azok közül való vagy! Péter pedig monda: Ember, nem vagyok!
And, after a little, another, beholding him, said—Thou also, art, from among them. But, Peter, said—Man! I am not.
59 És úgy egy óra mulva más valaki erősíté, mondván: Bizony ez is vele vala: mert Galileából való is.
And, about one hour having passed, a certain other, began stoutly to insist, saying—Of a truth, this one also, was with him; for indeed he is, a Galilaean.
60 Monda pedig Péter: Ember, nem tudom, mit mondasz! És azonnal, mikor ő még beszélt, megszólalt a kakas.
But Peter said—Man! I know not what thou art saying! And, instantly while yet he was speaking, a cock crew.
61 És hátra fordulván az Úr, tekinte Péterre. És megemlékezék Péter az Úr szaváról, a mint néki mondta: Mielőtt a kakas szól, háromszor megtagadsz engem.
And the Lord turned, and looked at Peter; and Peter was put in mind of the declaration of the Lord, how he had said to him—Before, a cock, crow this day, thou wilt deny me thrice!
62 És kimenvén Péter, keservesen síra.
[And, going forth outside, he wept bitterly.]
63 És azok a férfiak, a kik fogva tarták Jézust, csúfolják vala, vervén őt.
And, the men who held him bound, kept mocking him, with blows;
64 És szemeit betakarván, arczul csapdosák őt, és kérdezék őt, mondván: Prófétáld meg ki az, a ki téged vere?
and, blindfolding him, questioned him, saying—Prophesy! which is he that smote thee?
65 És sok egyéb dolgot mondának néki, szidalmazván őt.
and, many other things, with profane speech, were they saying unto him.
66 És a mint nappal lett, egybegyűle a nép véneinek tanácsa, főpapok és írástudók: és vivék őt az ő gyülekezetükbe,
And, when it became day, the Eldership of the people was gathered together—both High-priests and Scribes, —and they led him away into their high-council, saying—If, thou, art the Christ, tell us!
67 Mondván: Ha te vagy a Krisztus, mondd meg nékünk. Monda pedig nékik: Ha mondom néktek, nem hiszitek:
But he said unto them—If I should tell, you, in nowise would ye believe,
68 De ha kérdezlek is, nem feleltek nékem, sem el nem bocsátotok.
And, if I should put questions, in nowise would ye answer;
69 Mostantól fogva ül az embernek Fia az Isten hatalmának jobbja felől.
But, henceforth, shall the Son of Man be seated on the right hand of the power of God.
70 Mondának pedig mindnyájan: Te vagy tehát az Isten Fia? Ő pedig monda nékik: Ti mondjátok, hogy én vagyok!
And they all said—Thou, then, art the Son of God? And, he, unto them said—Ye, say [it], —because, I, am.
71 Azok pedig mondának: Mi szükségünk van még bizonyságra? Hiszen mi magunk hallottuk az ő szájából.
And, they, said—What, further, need have we, of witness? We ourselves, have heard it from his mouth.
