3 Mózes 17
1 Szóla ismét az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 Szólj Áronnak és az ő fiainak és Izráel minden fiának, és mondd nékik: Ez az a dolog, a mit megparancsolt az Úr, mondván:
Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, saying,
3 Ha valaki Izráel házából ökröt, vagy bárányt, vagy kecskét öl le a táborban, vagy a ki öl a táboron kivül,
Any man whatsoever of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or a sheep, or a goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,
4 És nem viszi azt a gyülekezet sátorának nyílásához, hogy áldozattal járuljon az Úrhoz, az Úrnak hajléka előtt: vérontásul tulajdoníttassék az annak az embernek; vért ontott, töröltessék ki azért az ilyen ember az ő népe közűl:
And bringeth it not to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it as an offering unto the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord: as blood-guiltiness shall it be imputed unto that man, blood hath he shed; and that man shall be cut off from among his people.
5 Azért hogy vigyék el Izráel fiai az ő véres áldozataikat, a melyeket áldoznak vala a mezőn, vigyék el azokat az Úrnak, a gyülekezet sátorának nyílásához, a paphoz, és áldozzák meg azokat hálaáldozatul az Úrnak.
In order that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they slay in the open field, and bring them unto the Lord, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and slay them as sacrifices of peace-offerings unto the Lord.
6 És hintse a pap a vért az Úr oltárára, a mely a gyülekezet sátorának nyílásánál van, a kövérjét pedig füstölögtesse el kedves illatul az Úrnak.
And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation; and he shall burn the fat for a sweet savor unto the Lord.
7 És ne áldozzák többé véres áldozataikat az ördögöknek, a kikkel ők paráználkodnak. Örökkévaló rendtartás legyen ez nékik nemzetségről nemzetségre.
So that they shall offer no more their sacrifices unto evil spirits, after which they have gone astray: a statute for ever shall this be unto them throughout their generations.
8 Mondjad nékik ezt is: Valaki az Izráel házából, vagy a köztök tartózkodó jövevények közül, egészen égőáldozatot áldoz vagy véres áldozatot,
And unto them shalt thou say, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who may sojourn among them, that offereth a burnt-offering or a sacrifice,
9 És nem viszi azt a gyülekezet sátorának nyílásához, hogy elkészítse azt az Úrnak: irtassék ki az ilyen ember az ő népe közül.
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the Lord: even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
10 És ha valaki Izráel házából, vagy a köztök tartózkodó jövevények közül valamiféle vért megeszik: kiontom haragomat az ellen, a ki a vért megette, és kiirtom azt az ő népei közül.
And if there be any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, that eateth any manner of blood: I will set my face against the person that eateth the blood, and I will cut him off from among his people.
11 Mert a testnek élete a vérben van, én pedig az oltárra adtam azt néktek, hogy engesztelésül legyen a ti életetekért, mert a vér a benne levő élet által szerez engesztelést.
For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have appointed it for you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls; for the blood it is that maketh an atonement for the soul.
12 Azért mondtam Izráel fiainak: Egy lélek se egyék vért közületek; a köztetek tartózkodó jövevény se egye meg a vért.
Therefore have I said unto the children of Israel, No one of you shall eat blood, and the stranger that sojourneth among you shall not eat blood.
13 És ha valaki Izráel fiai közül, vagy a köztök tartózkodó jövevények közül vadászásban vadat vagy madarat fog, a mely megehető: ontsa ki annak vérét, és fedje be azt földdel.
And if there be any man whatsoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, who catcheth by hunting any beast or fowl that may be eaten: then shall he pour out the blood thereof, and cover it up with dust.
14 Mert minden testnek élete az ő vére a benne levő élettel. Azért mondom Izráel fiainak: Semmiféle testnek a vérét meg ne egyétek, mert minden testnek élete az ő vére; valaki megeszi azt, irtassék ki.
For the life of all flesh is its blood, on which its life dependeth; therefore have I said unto the children of Israel, The blood of every manner of flesh shall ye not eat; for the life of all flesh is its blood, every one who eateth it shall be cut off.
15 Ha pedig valaki elhullott, vagy vadtól megszaggatott állatot eszik, akár benszülött, akár jövevény: mossa meg ruháit, és mosódjék meg vízben, és tisztátalan legyen estvéig, azután tiszta.
And every person that eateth that which hath died of itself, or that which was torn by beasts, be this one born in your own country, or a stranger, shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening, when he shall be clean.
16 Hogyha meg nem mossa ruháit, sem a testét le nem mossa: viselje az ő vétségének terhét.
But if he wash [them] not, nor bathe his flesh, then shall he bear his iniquity.
