Józsué 7
1 De az Izráel fiai hűtlenül bántak vala a teljesen Istennek szentelt dolgokkal, mert elvőn a teljesen Istennek szentelt dolgokból Ákán, Kárminak fia (ki a Zabdi fia, ki a Zéra fia a Júda nemzetségéből); felgerjede azért az Úrnak haragja Izráel fiai ellen.
And they acted unfaithfully [the] people of Israel unfaithfulness in the devoted thing[s] and he took Achan [the] son of Carmi [the] son of Zabdi [the] son of Zerah of [the] tribe of Judah some of the devoted thing[s] and it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on [the] people of Israel.
2 Külde ugyanis Józsué férfiakat Jérikhóból, Aiba, a mely Bethaven mellett van, Bétheltől napkelet felé, és szóla nékik, mondván: Menjetek fel és kémleljétek ki azt a földet. És felmenének a férfiak és kikémlelék Ait.
And he sent Joshua men from Jericho Ai which [is] beside Beth Aven from [the] east of Beth-el and he said to them saying go up and spy out the land and they went up the men and they spied out Ai.
3 Majd visszatérének Józsuéhoz, és mondának néki: Ne menjen fel az egész nép; mintegy kétezer férfi, vagy mintegy háromezer férfi menjen fel, és megverik Ait. Ne fáraszd oda az egész népet, hiszen kevesen vannak azok!
And they returned to Joshua and they said to him may not it go up all the people about two thousand man or about three thousand man let them go up and they may attack Ai may not you make go wearily there towards all the people for [are] few they.
4 Felméne azért oda a népből mintegy háromezer férfi; de elfutának Ai férfiai elől.
And they went up some of the people there about three thousand man and they fled before [the] men of Ai.
5 És megölének közülök Ai férfiai mintegy harminczhat férfit, és üldözék őket a kaputól kezdve egész Sébarimig, és levágták őket a lejtőn. Azért megolvada a népnek szíve, és lőn olyanná, mint a víz.
And they struck down of them [the] men of Ai about thirty and six man and they pursued them before the gate to Shebarim and they struck down them at the descent and it melted [the] heart of the people and it became water.
6 Józsué pedig megszaggatá az ő ruháit, és földre borula arczczal az Úrnak ládája előtt mind estvéig, ő és Izráel vénei, és port hintének a fejökre.
And he tore Joshua clothes his and he fell on face his [the] ground towards before [the] ark of Yahweh until the evening he and [the] elders of Israel and they made go up dust on head their.
7 És monda Józsué: Ah Uram Istenem! Miért is hozád által ezt a népet a Jordánon, hogyha az Emoreus kezébe adsz minket, hogy elveszítsen? Vajha úgy akartuk volna, hogy maradtunk volna túl a Jordánon!
And he said Joshua alas! - O Lord Yahweh why? have you brought over at all the people this the Jordan to give us in [the] hand of the Amorite[s] to destroy us and if we had been willing and we had remained on [the] other side of the Jordan.
8 Óh Uram! mit mondjak, miután meghátrált Izráel az ő ellenségei előtt!
Pardon me O Lord what? will I say after that it has turned Israel a neck before enemies its.
9 Ha meghallják a Kananeusok és e földnek minden lakói, és ellenünk fordulnak, és kiirtják nevünket e földről: mit cselekszel majd a te nagy nevedért?
And they may hear the Canaanite[s] and all [the] inhabitants of the land and they will surround us and they will cut off name our from the earth and what? will you do for name your great.
10 És monda az Úr Józsuénak: Kelj fel! Miért is borulsz te arczra?
And he said Yahweh to Joshua stand up for yourself why? this [are] you falling on face your.
11 Vétkezett Izráel, és általhágták szövetségemet is, a melyet rendeltem nékik, mert elvettek a teljesen nékem szentelt dolgokból is, és loptak is és hazudtak is, és edényeik közé is dugdostak.
It has sinned Israel and also they have transgressed covenant my which I commanded them and also they have taken some of the devoted thing[s] and also they have stolen and also they have deceived and also they have put [them] among things their.
12 Ezért nem bírtak megállni Izráel fiai az ő ellenségeik előtt, hátat fordítottak ellenségeiknek, mert átkozottakká lettek. Nem leszek többé veletek, ha ki nem vesztitek magatok közül azt a nékem szentelt dolgot.
And not they are able [the] people of Israel to stand before enemies their a neck they turn before enemies their for they have become a devoted thing not I will repeat to be with you if not you will destroy the devoted thing[s] from midst your.
13 Kelj fel, és tisztítsd meg a népet, és mondjad: Tisztítsátok meg magatokat holnapra, mert ezt mondá az Úr, Izráelnek Istene: Istennek szentelt dolog van közötted, Izráel! Nem állhatsz meg a te ellenségeid előtt, míg el nem távolítjátok közületek az Istennek szentelt dolgot.
Arise consecrate the people and you will say consecrate yourselves for tomorrow for thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel devoted thing[s] [are] in midst your O Israel not you will be able to stand before enemies your until remove you the devoted thing[s] from midst your.
14 Azért jőjjetek elő reggel nemzetségeitek szerint; a nemzetség pedig, a melyet bűnösnek jelent az Úr, jőjjön elő családonként; a család pedig, a melyet bűnösnek jelent az Úr, jőjjön elő házanként, a ház pedig, a melyet bűnösnek jelent az Úr, jőjjön elő férfianként.
And you will bring yourselves near in the morning to tribes your and it will be the tribe which he will take it Yahweh it will draw near to the families and the family which he will take it Yahweh it will draw near to the households and the household which he will take it Yahweh it will draw near to the men.
15 És lészen, hogy a ki az Istennek szentelt dologban bűnösnek találtatik, tűzzel égettessék meg, ő és mindene, a mije van, mivelhogy megszegte az Úrnak szövetségét, és mivel alávaló dolgot cselekedett Izráelben.
And it will be the [one who] is taken by lot with the devoted thing[s] he will be burned with fire him and all that [belongs] to him for he has transgressed covenant of Yahweh and for he has done disgraceful folly in Israel.
16 Felkele azért Józsué és jó reggel előállítá Izráelt az ő nemzetségei szerint, és bűnösnek jelenteték a Júda nemzetsége.
And he rose early Joshua in the morning and he brought near Israel to tribes its and it was taken by lot [the] tribe of Judah.
17 Ekkor előállítá a Júda családjait, és bűnösnek jelenteték a Zéra családja; azután előállítá a Zéra családját férfianként, és bűnösnek jelenteték a Zabdi háza.
And he brought near [the] family of Judah and he took [the] family of the Zerahite[s] and he brought near [the] family of the Zerahite[s] to the men and he was taken by lot Zabdi.
18 És előállítá az ő házát férfianként, és bűnösnek találtaték Ákán, Kárminak fia, a ki Zabdi fia, a ki a Júda nemzetségéből való Zérának fia.
And he brought near household his to the men and he was taken by lot Achan [the] son of Carmi [the] son of Zabdi [the] son of Zerah of [the] tribe of Judah.
19 Monda azért Józsué Ákánnak: Fiam, adj dicsőséget, kérlek, az Úrnak, Izráel Istenének, és tégy néki vallást, és add tudtomra, kérlek, nékem, mit cselekedtél, és el ne titkoljad tőlem!
And he said Joshua to Achan O son my put please glory to Yahweh [the] God of Israel and give to him confession and tell please to me what? have you done may not you hide [it] from me.
20 Ákán pedig felele Józsuénak, és monda: Bizony én vétkeztem az Úr ellen, Izráel Istene ellen, és ezt s ezt cselekedtem!
And he answered Achan Joshua and he said truly I I have sinned to Yahweh [the] God of Israel and like this and like this I have done.
21 Láték ugyanis a zsákmány közt egy jó babiloni köntöst, kétszáz siklus ezüstöt és egy arany vesszőt, a melynek súlya ötven siklus vala, és megkivántam ezeket, és elvevém ezeket, és ímé elrejtve vannak a földben, a sátoromnak közepében, az ezüst pedig alatta van.
(And I saw *Q(k)*) among the booty cloak of Shinar one good and two hundred shekels silver and a wedge of gold one [was] fifty shekels weight its and I desired them and I took them and there they [are] hidden in the ground in [the] midst of tent my and the silver [is] under it.
22 Ekkor követeket külde Józsué s ezek a sátorba futának, és ímé, elrejtve vala az az ő sátorában, és az ezüst is alatta vala.
And he sent Joshua messengers and they ran the tent towards and there! [it was] hidden in tent his and the silver [was] under it.
23 Kivivék azért azokat a sátor közepéből, és vivék Józsuéhoz és Izráelnek minden fiához, és lerakák azokat az Úr előtt.
And they took them from [the] midst of the tent and they brought them to Joshua and to all [the] people of Israel and they poured out them before Yahweh.
24 Józsué pedig fogá Ákánt, a Zéra fiát, az ezüstöt, a köntöst és az aranyvesszőt, az ő fiait és leányait, az ő ökreit, szamarait és juhait, sátorát és mindent, a mije vala, és vele lévén az egész Izráel is, vivék azokat Akor völgyébe.
And he took Joshua Achan [the] son of Zerah and the silver and the cloak and [the] wedge of gold and sons his and daughters his and ox[en] his and donkey[s] his and sheep his and tent his and all that [belonged] to him and all Israel with him and they brought up them [the] valley of Achor.
25 És monda Józsué: Miért rontottál meg minket? Rontson meg téged e napon az Úr! És elborítá őt egész Izráel kövekkel, és megégeték őket tűzzel, miután megkövezték vala őket.
And he said Joshua why? have you brought trouble to us he will bring trouble to you Yahweh on the day this and they stoned him all Israel stone[s] and they burned them with fire and they stoned them with stones.
26 És nagy kőhalmot rakának feléje; megvan mind e napig. És megszűnék az Úr haragjának gerjedezése. Ezért nevezik ezt a helyet Akor völgyének mind e napig.
And they set up over him a heap of stones great until the day this and he turned back Yahweh from [the] burning of anger his there-fore someone called [the] name of the place that [the] valley of Achor until the day this.
