Józsué 15
1 A Júda fiai nemzetségének sors által való része pedig az ő családjaik szerint ez vala: Edomnak határa felé a Czin pusztája délre, a déli határnak végén.
So then the boundary of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by their families, —reached unto the boundary of Edom, the desert of Zin southward, on the extreme south;
2 Vala pedig az ő déli határuk a Sóstengernek szélétől, a tengernyelvtől fogva, a mely délfelé fordul.
so their south boundary beginneth at the end of the Salt Sea, —from the bay that turneth to the south;
3 És halad délre az Akrabbim hágónak, majd átmegy Czin felé, és felmegy délről Kádes-Barneának, átmegy Hesronnak, felmegy Adárnak és kerül Karka felé;
and goeth forth on the south of the cliffs of Akrabbim, and crosseth over to Zin, and goeth up on the south of Kadesh-barnea, —and passeth over by Hezron, and goeth up to Addar, and turneth round to Karka;
4 Majd átmegy Asmonnak és halad Égyiptom patakának. A határ szélei pedig a tengernél vannak. Ez a ti határotok délre.
and passeth over to Azmon, and goeth forth at the ravine of Egypt, and so the extensions of the boundary are to the sea. This, shall be your south boundary.
5 Napkelet felé pedig a Sóstenger a határ a Jordán végéig; az északi rész határa pedig a tengernyelvtől, a Jordán végétől kezdődik.
And, a boundary eastward, is the Salt Sea, as far as the end of the Jordan. And, the boundary on the north side, is from the bay of the sea, from the end of the Jordan.
6 És felmegy ez a határ Béth-Hoglának, és átmegy északra Béth-Arabán majd felmegy ez a határ Rúben fiának, Bohánnak kövéhez.
And the boundary goeth up Beth-hoglah, and passeth over, on the north, by Beth-arabah, —and the boundary goeth up by the Stone of Bohan, son of Reuben;
7 És felmegy ez a határ Debirbe is az Akor völgyéből, és északnak fordul Gilgál felé, a mely átellenében van az Adummim hágójának, a mely a pataktól délfelé esik. És átmegy a határ az Én-semes vizeire és tova halad a Rógel forrása felé.
and the boundary goeth up towards Debir, out of the vale of Achor, then northward, turning unto Gilgal, which is over against the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the ravine, —then the boundary passeth over unto the waters of En-shemesh, and so the extensions thereof are unto En-rogel:
8 Azután felmegy a határ a Hinnom fiának völgyén, Jebuzeusnak, azaz Jeruzsálemnek déli oldala felé; felmegy továbbá e határ a hegynek tetejére, a mely átellenben van a Hinnom völgyével napnyugat felé, a mely északra van a Refaim völgyének szélén.
then ascendeth the boundary by the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite, on the south, the same, is Jerusalem, —and the boundary goeth up unto the top of the mountain which faceth the valley of Hinnom, to the west, which is at the end of the Vale of Giants, northwards;
9 És hajlik e határ a hegynek tetejétől a Neftoáh víznek kútfejéhez és kimegy az Efron hegyének városai felé; majd hajlik e határ Baalának, azaz Kirjáth-Jeárimnak.
and the boundary turneth round, from the top of the mountain, unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and goeth out unto the cities of Mount Ephron, —then the boundary turneth round to Baalah, the same, is Kiriath-jearim;
10 Baalától pedig fordul e határ napnyugotnak a Szeír-hegy felé, és átmegy északnak a Jeárim-hegy oldala felé, azaz Kesalon felé és alámegy Béth-Semesnek és átmegy Timnának.
then the boundary goeth round from Baalah westward, unto Mount Seir, and passeth over unto the slope of Mount Yearim, on the north, the same, is Chesalon, —and descendeth Bethshemesh, and passeth over Timnah;
11 Majd tova megy e határ Ekron északi oldala felé, és hajlik e határ Sikkeronnak, és átmegy a Baala hegynek, és tova megy Jabnéel felé. A határ szélei pedig a tengernél vannak.
then the boundary goeth forth unto the side of Ekron, northward, then the boundary turneth round towards Shikkeron, and crosseth over Mount Baalah, and goeth out at Jabneel, —and the extensions of the boundary are to the sea.
12 A napnyugati határ pedig a nagy tenger és melléke. Ez Júda fiainak határa köröskörül az ő házoknépe szerint.
And, as a west boundary, are the great sea and coast. This, is the boundary of the sons of Judah, round about, by their families.
13 Kálebnek, a Jefunné fiának pedig a Júda fiai között ada részt, az Úrnak Józsuéhoz való szavai szerint; Kirjáth-Arbának, Anák atyjának városát, azaz Hebront.
And, to Caleb, son of Jephunneh, gave he a portion, in the midst of the sons of Judah, at the bidding of Yahweh, by Joshua, —even the City of Arba, father of Anak, the same, is Hebron.
14 És kiűzé onnan Káleb Anáknak három fiát: Sésait, Ahimánt és Tálmait, Anák gyermekeit.
And Caleb dispossessed from thence, the three sons of Anak, —Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak.
15 És felméne innét Debir lakói ellen, Debirnek neve pedig azelőtt Kirjáth-Széfer volt.
And he went up from thence, against the inhabitants of Debir, —now, the name of Debir, formerly, was Kiriath-sepher.
16 És monda Káleb: A ki megveri Kirjáth-Széfert és elfoglalja azt, néki adom Akszát, az én leányomat feleségül.
Then said Caleb, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and captureth it, I will give unto him Achsah, my daughter, to wife.
17 Elfoglala pedig azt Othniél, Kénáznak, a Káleb testvérének fia; és néki adá Akszát, az ő leányát feleségül.
And Othniel son of Kenaz, brother of Caleb, captured it, —so he gave unto him Achsah, his daughter, to wife.
18 És lőn, hogy a mikor eljöve az, biztatá őt, hogy kérjen az ő atyjától mezőt. Leszálla azért a szamárról; Káleb pedig monda néki: Mi bajod?
And it came to pass, when she came, that she moved him to ask of her father a field, and, when she alighted from off the ass, Caleb said unto her—What aileth thee?
19 Ő pedig monda: Adj áldást nékem! Mivelhogy száraz földre helyeztél engem, adj azért nékem vízforrásokat is. És néki adá a felső forrást és az alsó forrást.
And she said—Give me a present, for, dry land, hast thou given me, therefore must thou give me, pools of water. So he gave her upper pools and lower pools.
20 Ez a Júda fiai nemzetségének öröksége az ő családjaik szerint.
This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by their families.
21 A Júda fiai nemzetségének városai pedig a déli végtől kezdve Edom határa felé valának: Kabseél, Éder és Jágur;
And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the sons of Judah, towards the boundary of Edom in the south, were, —Kabzeel and Eder, and Jagur,
22 Kina, Dimóna és Adada;
and Kinah and Dimonah, and Adadah, —
23 Kedes, Hásor és Ithnán;
and Kedesh and Hazor, and Ithnan,
24 Zif, Télem és Bealóth;
Ziph and Talem, and Bealoth,
25 Hásor-Hadatha és Kerioth-Hesron, azaz Hásor;
and Hazor-hadattah and Kerioth-hezron, the same, is Hazor;
26 Amam, Séma és Móláda;
Amam and Shema, and Moladah,
27 Hasar-Gaddah, Hesmón és Béth-Pelet;
and Hazar-gaddah and Heshmon, and Beth-pelet.
28 Hasar-Suál, Beer-Seba és Bizjotheja;
and Hazarshual and Beer-sheba, with the hamlets thereof,
29 Baála, Ijjim és Eczem;
Baalah and Iyyim, and Ezem,
30 Elthólád, Keszil és Hormah;
and Eltolad and Chesil, and Hormah,
31 Siklág, Madmanna és Szanszanna;
and Ziklag and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
32 Lebaóth, Silhim, Ain és Rimmon. Összesen huszonkilencz város és ezek falui.
and Lebaoth and Shilhim, and En-rimmon, —all the cities are twenty-nine, with their villages.
33 A síkságon: Esthaól, Czórah és Asnáh;
In the lowland, —Eshtaol and Zorah, and Ashnah,
34 Zanoah, Én-Gannim, Tappuáh és Énám;
and Zanoah and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam;
35 Jármut, Adullám, Szókó és Azéka;
Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah;
36 Saáraim, Adithaim, Gedéra és Gederóthaim. Tizennégy város és azok falui.
and Shaaraim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim, —fourteen cities, with their villages.
37 Senán, Hadása és Migdal-Gad;
Zenan and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
38 Dilán, Miczpe és Jokteél;
and Dilan and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
39 Lákis, Boczkát és Eglon;
Lachish and Bozkath, and Eglon,
40 Kabbon, Lahmász és Kitlis;
and Cabbon and Lahmas, and Chithlish,
41 Gedéróth, Béth-Dágon, Naama és Makkéda. Tizenhat város és ezeknek falui.
and Gederoth, Beth-dagon and Naamah, and Makkedah, —sixteen cities, with their villages.
42 Libna, Ether és Asán;
Libnah and Ether, and Ashan,
43 Jifta, Asná és Neczib;
and Iphtah and Ashnah, and Nezib,
44 Keila, Akzib és Marésa. Kilencz város és ezeknek falui.
and Keilah and Achzib, and Mareshah, —nine cities, with their villages.
45 Ekron, ennek mezővárosai és falui.
Ekron with her towns, and her villages.
46 Ekrontól fogva egész a tengerig mind azok, a melyek Asdód mellett vannak, és azoknak falui.
From Ekron, even unto the sea, —all that were by the side of Ashdod with their villages.
47 Asdód, ennek mezővárosai és falui; Gáza, ennek mezővárosai és falui; Égyiptom patakjáig, és a nagy tenger és melléke.
Ashdod, her towns and her villages. Gaza, her towns and her villages, as far as the ravine of Egypt, —and the great sea and coast.
48 A hegységen pedig: Sámír, Jathír és Szókó;
And in the hill-country, —Shamir and Jattir, and Socoh,
49 Danna, Kirjáth-Szanna, azaz Debir;
and Dannah and Kiriath-sannah, the same, is Debir,
50 Anáb, Estemót és Anim;
and Anab and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
51 Gósen, Hólon és Giló. Tizenegy város és ezeknek falui.
and Goshen and Holon, and Giloh, —eleven cities, with their villages.
52 Aráb, Dúma és Esán;
Arab and Rumah and Eshan,
53 Janum, Béth-Tappuah és Aféka;
and Janim and Beth-tappuah and Aphekah,
54 Humta, Kirjáth-Arba, azaz Hebron és Czihor. Kilencz város és ezeknek falui.
and Humtah, and Kiriath-arba, the same, is Hebron, and Zior, —nine cities, with their villages.
55 Maón, Karmel, Zif és Júta;
Maon, Carmel, and Ziph and Jutah,
56 Jezréel, Jokdeám és Zánoah;
and Jezreel and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
57 Kajin, Gibea és Timna. Tíz város és ezeknek falui.
Kain, Gibeah and Timnah, —ten cities, with their villages.
58 Halhul, Béth-Czúr és Gedor;
Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
59 Maarát, Béth-Anóth és Elthekon. Hat város és ezeknek falui.
and Maarath and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon, —six cities, with their villages.
60 Kirjáth-Baál, azaz Kirjáth-Jeárim, és Rabba. Két város és ezeknek falui.
Kiriath-baal, the same, is Kiriath-jearim, and Rabbah, —two cities, with their villages.
61 A pusztában: Béth-Arábá, Middin és Szekáka;
In the desert, —Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
62 Nibsán, Ir-Melah és Én-Gedi. Hat város és ezeknek falui.
and Nibshan and the City of Salt, and En-gedi, —six cities, with their villages.
63 De a Jebuzeusokat, Jeruzsálemnek lakóit, Júda fiai nem bírták kiűzni, azért laknak ott a Jebuzeusok Júda fiaival együtt Jeruzsálemben, mind e mai napig.
But, as for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah could not dispossess them, —so the Jebusites have dwelt with the sons of Judah, in Jerusalem, until this day.
