János 21
1 Ezek után ismét megjelentette magát Jézus a tanítványoknak a Tibériás tengerénél; megjelentette pedig ekképen:
After that Iesus shewed him selfe agayne at the see of Tyberias. And on this wyse shewed he him selfe.
2 Együtt valának Simon Péter, és Tamás, a kit Kettősnek hívtak, és Nátánáel, a galileai Kánából való, és a Zebedeus fiai, és más kettő is az ő tanítványai közül.
There were to geder Simon Peter and Thomas which is called Didymus: and Nathanael of Cana a citie of Galile and the sonnes of Zebedei and two other of the disciples.
3 Monda nékik Simon Péter: Elmegyek halászni. Mondának néki: Elmegyünk mi is te veled. Elmenének és azonnal a hajóba szállának; és azon az éjszakán nem fogtak semmit.
Simon Peter sayde vnto them: I goo a fysshynge. They sayde vnto him: we also will goo with the. They wet their waye and entred into a shippe strayght waye and that nyght caught they nothinge.
4 Mikor pedig immár reggeledék, megálla Jézus a parton; a tanítványok azonban nem ismerék meg, hogy Jézus van ott.
But when the mornynge was now come Iesus stode on the shore: neverthelesse the disciples knewe not yt it was Iesus.
5 Monda azért nékik Jézus: Fiaim! Van-é valami ennivalótok? Felelének néki: Nincsen!
Iesus sayde vnto the: syrs have ye eny meate? They answered him no.
6 Ő pedig monda nékik: Vessétek a hálót a hajónak jobb oldala felől, és találtok. Oda veték azért, és kivonni már nem bírták azt a halaknak sokasága miatt.
And he sayde vnto them: cast out ye net on the ryght syde of the ship and ye shall fynde. They cast out and anone they were not able to drawe it for ye multitude of fysshes
7 Szóla azért az a tanítvány, a kit Jézus szeret vala, Péternek: Az Úr van ott! Simon Péter azért, a mikor hallja vala, hogy ott van az Úr, magára vevé az ingét (mert mezítelen vala), és beveté magát a tengerbe.
Then sayde the disciple whom Iesus loved vnto Peter: It is the Lorde. When Simon Peter hearde that it was ye lorde he gyrde his mantell to him (for he was naked) and sprange into the see
8 A többi tanítványok pedig a hajón menének (mert nem messze valának a parttól, hanem mintegy kétszáz singnyire), és vonszszák vala a hálót a halakkal.
The other disciples came by ship: for they were not farre from londe but as it were two hondred cubites and they drewe the net with fysshes.
9 Mikor azért a partra szállának, látják, hogy parázs van ott, és azon felül hal és kenyér.
Assone as they were come to londe they sawe hoot coles and fysshe layd ther on and breed.
10 Monda nékik Jézus: Hozzatok a halakból, a melyeket most fogtatok.
Iesus sayde vnto them: bringe of the fysshe which ye have now caught.
11 Felszálla Simon Péter, és kivoná a hálót a partra, a mely tele volt nagy halakkal, százötvenhárommal; és noha ennyi vala, nem szakadozik vala a háló.
Simon Peter stepped forthe and drewe the net to londe full of greate fysshes an hondred and. liii. And for all ther were so many yet was not the net broken.
12 Monda nékik Jézus: Jertek, ebédeljetek. A tanítványok közül pedig senki sem meri vala tőle megkérdezni: Ki vagy te? Mivelhogy tudják vala, hogy az Úr ő.
Iesus sayde vnto them: come and dyne. And none of the disciples durste axe him: what arte thou? For they knewe that it was the lorde.
13 Oda méne azért Jézus, és vevé a kenyeret és adá nékik, és hasonlóképen a halat is.
Iesus then came and toke breed and gave them and fysshe lykwyse
14 Ezzel már harmadszor jelent meg Jézus az ő tanítványainak, minekutána feltámadt a halálból.
And this is now the thyrde tyme that Iesus appered to his disciples after that he was rysen agayne from deeth.
15 Mikor aztán megebédelének, monda Jézus Simon Péternek: Simon, Jónának fia: jobban szeretsz-é engem ezeknél? Monda néki: Igen, Uram; te tudod, hogy szeretlek téged! Monda néki: Legeltesd az én bárányaimat!
When they had dyned Iesus sayde to Simon Peter: Simon Ioana lovest thou me more then these? He sayde vnto him: ye Lorde thou knowest that I love the. He sayde vnto him: fede my lambes.
16 Monda néki ismét másodszor is: Simon, Jónának fia, szeretsz-é engem? Monda néki: Igen, Uram; te tudod, hogy én szeretlek téged. Monda néki: Őrizd az én juhaimat!
He sayde to him agayne the seconde tyme: Simo Ioana lovest thou me? He sayde vnto him: ye lorde thou knowest that I love ye. He sayde vnto him: fede my shepe.
17 Monda néki harmadszor is: Simon, Jónának fia, szeretsz-é engem? Megszomorodék Péter, hogy harmadszor is mondotta vala néki: Szeretsz-é engem? És monda néki: Uram, te mindent tudsz; te tudod, hogy én szeretlek téged. Monda néki Jézus: Legeltesd az én juhaimat!
He sayde vnto him ye thyrde tyme: Simon Ioanna lovest thou me? And Peter sorowed because he sayde to him ye thyrde tyme lovest thou me and sayde vnto him: Lorde thou knowest all thinge thou knowest that I love the. Iesus sayde vnto him: fede my shepe.
18 Bizony, bizony mondom néked, a mikor ifjabb valál, felövezéd magadat, és oda mégy vala, a hova akarád; mikor pedig megöregszel, kinyújtod a te kezedet és más övez fel téged, és oda visz, a hová nem akarod.
Verely verely I saye vnto the when thou wast yonge thou gerdedst thy selfe and walkedst whyther thou woldest: but when thou arte olde thou shalt stretche forthe thy hondes and a nother shall gyrde ye and leade the whyther thou woldest not.
19 Ezt pedig azért mondá, hogy jelentse, milyen halállal dicsőíti majd meg az Istent. És ezt mondván, szóla néki: Kövess engem!
That spake he signifyinge by what deeth he shuld glorify God. And whe he had sayde thus he sayd to him folowe me.
20 Péter pedig megfordulván, látja, hogy követi az a tanítvány, a kit szeret vala Jézus, a ki nyugodott is ama vacsora közben az ő kebelén és mondá: Uram! ki az, a ki elárul téged?
Peter turned about and sawe that disciple who Iesus loved folowynge: which also lened on his brest at supper and sayde: Lorde which is he yt shall betraye the?
21 Ezt látván Péter, monda Jézusnak: Uram, ez pedig mint lészen?
When Peter sawe him he sayde to Iesus: Lorde what shall he here do?
22 Monda néki Jézus: Ha akarom, hogy ő megmaradjon, a míg eljövök, mi közöd hozzá? Te kövess engem!
Iesus sayd vnto him Yf I will have him to tary tyll I come what is that to the? folowe thou me.
23 Kiméne azért e beszéd az atyafiak közé, hogy az a tanítvány nem hal meg: pedig Jézus nem mondta néki, hogy nem hal meg; hanem: Ha akarom, hogy ez megmaradjon, a míg eljövök, mi közöd hozzá?
Then went this sayinge a broode amonge the brethren that that disciple shulde not dye. Yet Iesus sayde not to him he shall not dye: but yf I will that he tary tyll I come what is that to the?
24 Ez az a tanítvány, a ki bizonyságot tesz ezekről, és a ki megírta ezeket, és tudjuk, hogy az ő bizonyságtétele igaz.
The same disciple is he which testifieth of these thinges and wrote these thinges. And we knowe that his testimony is true.
25 De van sok egyéb is, a miket Jézus cselekedett vala, a melyek, ha egyenként megiratnának, azt vélem, hogy maga a világ sem foghatná be a könyveket, a melyeket írnának. Ámen.
There are also many other thinges which Iesus dyd: the which yf they shuld be written every won I suppose the worlde coulde not cotayne the bokes that shuld be written.
