Jeremiás 5
1 Járjátok el Jeruzsálem utczáit, és nézzétek csak és tudjátok meg és tudakozzátok meg annak piaczain, ha találtok-é egy embert; ha van-é valaki, a ki igazán cselekszik, hűségre törekszik, és én megbocsátok néki!
Rove about in [the] streets of Jerusalem and see please and observe and search in open places its if you will find a person if there [is one who] does justice [one who] seeks faithfulness so I may forgive it.
2 Még ha azt mondják is: Él az Úr! bizony hamisan esküsznek!
And though [by] [the] life of Yahweh people say therefore to falsehood they are swearing oaths.
3 Uram! a te szemeid avagy nem a hűségre néznek-é? Megverted őket, de nem bánkódtak; tönkre tetted őket, de nem akarják felvenni a dorgálást; orczáik keményebbekké lettek a kősziklánál; nem akartak megtérni.
O Yahweh [are] eyes your ¿ not to faithfulness you struck them and not they writhed you brought to an end them they refused to accept correction they made strong faces their more than rock they refused to return.
4 Én pedig ezt mondom vala: Bizony szerencsétlenek ezek; bolondok, mert nem ismerik az Úrnak útját, Istenöknek ítéletét!
And I I said only [are] poor [people] they they have acted foolishly for not they know [the] way of Yahweh [the] ordinance of God their.
5 Elmegyek azért a főemberekhez, és beszélek velök; hiszen ők ismerik az Úrnak útját, Istenöknek ítéletét! Ámde ők törték össze egyetemlegesen az igát, és tépték le a köteleket!
I will go for myself to the great and I will speak them for they they know [the] way of Yahweh [the] ordinance of God their nevertheless they alike they had broken off a yoke they had torn off fetters.
6 Azért széttépi őket az oroszlán az erdőből, elpusztítja őket a puszták farkasa, párducz ólálkodik az ő városaik körül; a ki kijön azokból, mind szétszaggattatik; mert megsokasodtak az ő bűneik, és elhatalmasodtak az ő hitszegéseik.
There-fore it will attack them a lion from a forest a wolf of desert plains it will devastate them a leopard [will be] watching over cities their every [one who] goes out from them he will be torn in pieces for they are many transgressions their they are numerous (apostasies their. *Q(k)*)
7 Oh, miért bocsátanék meg néked? Fiaid elhagytak engem, és azokra esküsznek, a kik nem istenek; noha jól tartottam őket, mégis paráználkodtak és tolongtak a parázna házába.
Where? for this (will I forgive *Q(k)*) you children your they have forsaken me and they have sworn by not gods and I satisfied them and they committed adultery and [the] house of a prostitute they cut themselves.
8 Mint a hizlalt lovak, viczkándozókká lettek; kiki az ő felebarátjának feleségére nyerít.
Horses well fed lustful they are everyone to [the] wife of neighbor his they neigh.
9 Avagy ne büntessem-é meg az ilyeneket, mondja az Úr, és az e féle népen, mint ez, ne álljon-é bosszút az én lelkem?
¿ On these [things] not will I punish [the] utterance of Yahweh and or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.
10 Menjetek fel az ő kerítéseire és rontsátok, de ne tegyétek semmivé egészen! Távolítsátok el az ágait, mert nem az Úréi azok!
Go up among vine rows its and destroy [them] and complete destruction may not you make remove vine tendrils its for not [belong] to Yahweh they.
11 Mert igen hűtelenné lett hozzám az Izráel háza és a Júda háza, azt mondja az Úr!
For certainly they have dealt treacherously with me [the] house of Israel and [the] house of Judah [the] utterance of Yahweh.
12 Megtagadták az Urat, és azt mondták: Nincsen ő, és nem jöhet reánk veszedelem: sem fegyvert, sem éhséget nem látunk!
They have denied Yahweh and they have said not he and not it will come on us harm and sword and famine not we will see.
13 A próféták is széllé lesznek, és nem lesz, a ki beszéljen bennök: így esik az ő dolguk!
And the prophets they will become wind and the word not [is] in them thus let it be done to them.
14 Azért ezt mondja az Úr, a Seregeknek Istene: Miután ti ilyen szóval szóltatok: ímé tűzzé teszem az én igémet a te szádban, ezt a népet pedig fákká, hogy megemészsze őket!
Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of hosts because have spoken you the word this here I [am] about to make words my in mouth your into a fire and the people this wood and it will consume them.
15 Ímé, én hozok reátok messzünnen való nemzetet, oh Izráel háza! ezt mondja az Úr. Kemény nemzet ez, ős időből való nemzet ez; nemzet, a melynek nyelvét nem tudod, és nem érted, mit beszél!
Here I [am] about to bring on you a nation from a distance O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh [is] a nation - enduring it [is] a nation from long ago it a nation [which] not you know language its and not you hear what? does it say.
16 Tegze olyan, mint a nyitott sír; mindnyájan vitézek.
Quiver its [is] like a grave open all of them [are] warriors.
17 És megemészti aratásodat és kenyeredet; megemészti fiaidat és leányaidat; megemészti juhaidat és ökreidet; megemészti szőlődet és fügédet; erősített városaidat, a melyekben te bizakodol, fegyverrel rontja le.
And it will devour harvest your and food your they will devour sons your and daughters your it will devour flock[s] your and herd[s] your it will devour vine[s] your and fig tree[s] your it will shatter [the] cities of fortifications your which you [are] trusting in them with the sword.
18 De még ezekben a napokban sem teszlek benneteket egészen semmivé, azt mondja az Úr.
And also in the days those [the] utterance of Yahweh not I will make with you complete destruction.
19 Ha pedig az lenne, hogy kérdeznétek: Miért cselekedte mindezt velünk az Úr, a mi Istenünk? akkor azt mondjad nékik: A miképen elhagytatok engem és idegen isteneknek szolgáltatok a ti földeteken: azonképen idegeneknek fogtok szolgálni olyan földön, a mely nem a tiétek.
And it will be that you will say for what? did he do Yahweh God our to us all these [things] and you will say to them just as you forsook me and you served gods of foreignness in own land your so you will serve strangers in a land [which] not [belongs] to you.
20 Hirdessétek ezt a Jákób házában, és hallassátok Júdában, mondván:
Declare this in [the] house of Jacob and proclaim it in Judah saying.
21 Halljátok csak, te bolond és esztelen nép, a kiknek szemeik vannak, de nem látnak; füleik vannak, de nem hallanak!
Hear please this O people fool and there not [is] a heart eyes [belong] to them and not they see ears [belong] to them and not they hear.
22 Nem féltek-é engem? ezt mondja az Úr. Az én orczám előtt nem remegtek-é? Hiszen én rendeltem a fövenyet a tenger határának örök korlátul, a melyet át nem hághat, és ha megrázkódtatják is habjai, de nem bírnak vele, és ha megháborodnak, sem hághatnak át rajta.
¿ Me not do you fear [the] utterance of Yahweh or? from before me not do you tremble who I appointed [the] sand a boundary for the sea a decree of perpetuity and not it will pass over it and they shook back and forth and not they will prevail and they roar waves its and not they will pass over it.
23 De ennek a népnek szilaj és daczos szíve van; elhajlottak és elmentek;
And to the people this it belongs a heart stubborn and rebellious they have turned aside and they have gone away.
24 És még szívökben sem mondják: Oh, csak félnők az Urat, a mi Istenünket, a ki esőt, korai és késői záport ad annak idejében; az aratásnak rendelt heteit megőrzi számunkra!
And not they said in heart their let us fear please Yahweh God our who gives rain (autumn rain *Q(K)*) and spring rain at appropriate time its [the] weeks of [the] appointments of harvest he keeps for us.
25 A ti bűneitek fordították el ezeket tőletek, és a ti vétkeitek fosztottak meg titeket e jótól!
Iniquities your they have turned aside these [things] and sins your they have withheld good from you.
26 Mert istentelenek vannak az én népem között; guggolva fülelnek, mint a madarászok; tőrt hánynak, embereket fogdosnak.
For they are found among people my wicked [people] he watches as bend fowlers they set a destroyer people they catch.
27 Mint a madárral teli kalitka, úgy vannak teli az ő házaik álnoksággal; ezért lettek nagyokká és gazdagokká!
Like a cage full bird[s] so houses their [are] full deceit there-fore they have become great and they have gained riches.
28 Meghíztak, megfényesedtek; eláradtak a gonosz beszédben; az árvának ügyét nem ítélik igaz ítélettel, hogy boldoguljanak; sem a szegényeknek nem szolgáltatnak igazságot.
They have become fat they have become smooth also they have transgressed matters of evil a cause not they have pleaded [the] cause of [the] fatherless so they may have success and [the] justice of needy [people] not they have judged.
29 Hát ezeket ne büntessem-é meg, ezt mondja az Úr; az ilyen nemzeten, mint ez, avagy ne álljon-é bosszút az én lelkem?
¿ On these [things] not will I punish [the] utterance of Yahweh or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.
30 Borzadalmas és rettenetes dolgok történnek e földön:
An atrocious event and a horrible [thing] it has occurred in the land.
31 A próféták hamisan prófétálnak, és a papok tetszésök szerint hatalmaskodnak, és az én népem így szereti! De mit cselekesznek majd utoljára?!
The prophets they have prophesied with falsehood and the priests they are ruling on hands their and people my they have loved thus and what? will you do to end its.
