Ezsdrás 6
1 Ekkor Dárius király megparancsolá, hogy nézzenek utána a könyvek tárházában, hol a kincseket tartják vala Babiloniában.
So King Darius ordered an investigation in the house of archives in Babylon.
2 És találtaték Akhméta várában, a mely Média tartományában van, egy tekercs, melyre emlékezetül ez vala írva:
In the fortified city of Ecbatana in Media a scroll was found; this was its record:
3 „Czírus király első esztendejében, Czírus király parancsolatot adott Isten házára nézve, mely Jeruzsálemben van, hogy e ház építtessék meg, oly helyül, hol áldozatokat áldoznak; s alapzati felemeltetvén, magassága hatvan sing, szélessége is hatvan sing legyen.
“In the first year of King Cyrus, Cyrus issued a decree about the house of God in Jerusalem: 'Let the house be rebuilt as a place for sacrifice, let its foundations be laid, let its height be sixty cubits, and its width sixty cubits,
4 A nagy kövek rétege három s a fa rétege legyen egy, a költség pedig a király házából adassék.
with three rows of large stones and a row of new timber, and let the cost be paid by the king's house.
5 Sőt az Isten házának arany és ezüst edényeit is, a melyeket Nabukodonozor hozott vala el a jeruzsálemi templomból s vitt vala Babilóniába, adják vissza, hogy jussanak el azok a jeruzsálemi templomba, helyökre, s te helyezd el azokat az Isten házába.”
Now bring back the gold and silver objects belonging to the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar brought to Babylon from the temple in Jerusalem and send them back to the temple in Jerusalem. You are to put them in the house of God.'
6 Mostan azért Tattenai folyóvizen túli helytartó, Sethar-bóznai és társaik, és az Afarsakeusok, a kik a folyóvizen túl laknak, távol legyetek onnan!
Now Tattenai, the governor of the Province Beyond the River, Shethar-Bozenai, and associates who are in the Province Beyond the River, keep away!
7 Hagyjátok, hadd épüljön meg Istennek ama háza! A zsidók helytartója és a zsidók vénei építsék meg Isten ama templomát a maga helyén!
Leave the work of this house of God alone. The governor and Jewish elders will build this house of God at that place.
8 És megparancsolom azt is, hogy mit cselekedjetek a zsidók ama véneivel, hogy megépítsék Isten ama házát; tudniillik a király folyóvizen túl való adójának kincseiből pontosan költség adassék ama férfiaknak, és pedig félbeszakítás nélkül,
I am ordering that you must do this for these Jewish elders who build this house of God: Funds from the king's tribute beyond the River will be used to pay these men so they do not have to stop their work.
9 És a mik szükségesek, tulkok, kosok, bárányok, égőáldozatra a menny Istenének, búza, só, bor, és olaj, a jeruzsálemi papok szava szerint adassanak nékik naponként és pedig mulasztás nélkül,
Whatever is needed—young bulls, rams, or lambs for the burnt offerings to the God of Heaven, grain, salt, wine, or oil according to the command of the priests in Jerusalem—give these things to them every day without fail.
10 Hogy vihessenek jó illatú áldozatot a menny Istenének, és könyörögjenek a királynak és fiainak életéért.
Do this so they will bring the offering in to the God of Heaven and pray for me, the king, and my sons.
11 És megparancsolom azt is, hogy valaki e rendelést megszegi, annak házából szakíttassék ki egy gerenda s felállíttatván szegeztessék reá, háza pedig szemétdombbá tétessék e miatt.
I am ordering that if anyone violates this decree, a beam must be pulled from his house and he must be impaled on it. His house must then be turned into a rubbish heap because of this.
12 Az Isten pedig, a ki nevének ott szerze lakást, megrontson minden királyt és népet, a ki felemelendi kezét, hogy megszegje e rendelést, hogy elpusztítsa Istennek ama házát, mely Jeruzsálemben van. Én, Dárius parancsoltam, pontosan megtörténjék.
May the God who has caused his name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who lifts a hand to change this decree, or to destroy this house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, am ordering this. Let it be done with diligence!”
13 Akkor Tattenai folyóvizen túli helytartó, Sethar-bóznai és társaik, miután Dárius ily rendelést küldött, ahhoz képest cselekedének pontosan.
Then because of the decree sent by Darius the king, Tattenai, the governor of the Province Beyond the River, and Shethar-Bozenai and his associates, did everything that King Darius had ordered.
14 És a zsidók vénei építének és jó szerencsések valának Aggeus próféta és Zakariás, Iddó fia prófétálása folytán, és megépítették és elvégezték Izráel Istenének akaratjából, és Czírus, Dárius és Artaxerxes, persiai királyok parancsolatjából.
So the Jewish elders built and prospered under the teaching of Haggaithe prophet and Zechariah son of Iddo. They completed their buildings according to the decree of the God of Israel and by the decree of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes the king of Persia.
15 Bevégezteték pedig e ház az Adár hó harmadik napjáig, mely Dárius király országlásának hatodik esztendejében vala.
The house was completed on the third day of the month of Adar, in the sixth year of King Darius' reign.
16 És megtarták Izráel fiai, a papok, a Léviták és a fogságból visszajött többiek Isten házának felszentelését örömmel.
The Israelite people, priests, Levites, and the rest of the captives celebrated the dedication of this house of God with joy.
17 Vivének pedig Isten házának felszentelésénél áldozatul száz bikát, kétszáz kost, négyszáz bárányt és tizenkét kecskebakot bűnért való áldozatra egész Izráelért, Izráel nemzetségeinek száma szerint.
They offered one hundred bulls, one hundred rams, and four hundred lambs for the dedication of God's house. Twelve male goats were also offered as a sin offering for all Israel, one for each tribe in Israel.
18 És rendelék a papokat az ő osztályaik és a Lévitákat az ő rendjeik szerint Istennek szolgálatára Jeruzsálemben, Mózes könyvének rendelése szerint,
They also assigned the priests and Levites to work divisions for the service of God in Jerusalem, as it was written in the Book of Moses.
19 És megtarták a rabságból visszajöttek a páskhát az első hó tizennegyedik napján;
So those who had been in exile celebrated the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.
20 Mert megtisztultak vala a papok és Léviták: egyetemben mindnyájan tiszták valának, és megölék a húsvéti bárányt mindazokért, a kik a rabságból megjöttek, és atyjokfiaiért a papokért és önmagokért;
The priests and Levites all purified themselves and slaughtered the Passover sacrifices for all those who had been in exile, including themselves.
21 És megevék azt Izráel fiai, a kik a rabságból visszajöttek vala, és mindazok, a kik elkülönítették vala magokat a föld népeinek tisztátalanságától s hozzájok állottak vala, hogy keressék az Urat, Izráel Istenét.
The Israelite people who ate some of the Passover meat were those who had returned from exile and had separated themselves from the uncleanness of the people of the land and sought Yahweh, the God of Israel.
22 És azután megtarták a kovásztalan kenyerek ünnepét hét napon örömmel, mert megvidámította vala őket az Úr, hozzájok hajtván az Assiriabeli király szívét, hogy erősítse kezöket az Istennek, Izráel Istenének háza építésében.
They joyfully celebrated the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days, for Yahweh had brought them joy and turned the heart of Assyria's king to strengthen their hands in the work of his house, the house of the God of Israel.
