1 És megfordulánk, és felmenénk Básán felé, és kijöve előnkbe Óg, Básánnak királya, ő és minden népe, hogy megvívjon velünk Edreiben.
And so we turneden, and stieden bi the weie of Basan; and Og, the kyng of Basan, yede out ayens vs with his puple, to fiyte in Edrai.
2 De az Úr monda nékem: Ne félj tőle, mert a te kezedbe adtam őt és minden ő népét és földjét; és úgy cselekedjél vele, a mint cselekedtél Szihonnal, az Emoreusok királyával, a ki Hesbonban lakik vala.
And the Lord seide to me, Drede thou not hym, for he is bitakun in thin hond, with al his puple, and his lond; and thou schalt do to hym, as thou didist to Seon, kyng of Ammoreis, that dwellide in Esebon.
3 És kezünkbe adá az Úr, a mi Istenünk Ógot is, Básánnak királyát és minden ő népét, és úgy megvertük őt, hogy menekülni való sem maradt belőle.
Therfor oure Lord God bitook in oure hondis also Og, kyng of Basan, and al his puple; and we han smyte hym `til to deeth,
4 És abban az időben elfoglaltuk minden városát; nem volt város, a melyet el nem vettünk volna tőlök: hatvan várost, Argóbnak egész vidékét, a Básenbeli Ógnak országát.
and wastiden alle the citees `of him in o tyme; no town was that ascapide vs; `we destrieden sixti citees, al the cuntrei of Argob, of the rewme of Og in Basan.
5 Ezek a városok mind meg valának erősítve magas kőfalakkal, kapukkal és zárokkal, kivévén igen sok kerítetlen várost.
Alle the citees weren strengthid with hiyest wallis, and with yatis and barris; with out townes vnnoumbrable, that hadden not wallis.
6 És fegyverre hánytuk azokat, a mint cselekedtünk vala Szihonnal, Hesbon királyával, fegyverre hányván az egész várost: férfiakat, asszonyokat és a kisdedeket is.
And we diden awey thilke men, as we diden to Seon, kyng of Esebon; and we losten ech citee, and men, and wymmen, and litle children;
7 De a barmokat és a városokból való ragadományokat mind magunk közt vetettük prédára.
forsothe we token bi prey beestis, and the spuylis of citees.
8 És elvettük abban az időben az Emoreusok két királyának kezéből azt a földet, a mely a Jordánon túl vala, az Arnon pataktól fogva a Hermon hegyéig.
And we token in that tyme the lond fro the hond of twey kyngis of Ammorreis, that weren biyonde Jordan, fro the stronde of Arnon `til to the hil of Hermon,
9 (A Sidoniak a Hermont Szirjonnak, az Emoreusok pedig Szenirnek hívják.)
`which hil Sidonyes clepen Sarion, and Ammorreis clepen Sanyr.
10 A síkságnak minden városát, és az egész Gileádot, meg az egész Básánt Szalkáig és Edreig, a melyek a Básánbeli Óg országának városai voltak.
We tooken alle the citees that weren set in the pleyn, and al the lond of Galaad, and of Basan, `til to Selcha and Edray, citees of the rewme of Og, in Basan.
11 Mert egyedül Óg, Básánnak királya maradt meg az óriások maradéka közül. Ímé az ő ágya vas-ágy, nemde Rabbátban az Ammon fiainál van-é? Kilencz sing a hosszasága és négy sing a szélessége, férfi könyök szerint.
For Og aloone, kyng of Basan, was left of the generacioun of giauntis; and his yrun bed is schewid, which is in Rabath, of the sones of Amon, and hath nyne cubitis of lengthe, and foure cubitis of breede, at the mesure of a cubit of mannus hond.
12 Ezt a földet pedig, a melyet abban az időben örökségünkké tettünk, Aróertől fogva, a mely az Arnon patak mellett van, és a Gileád hegyének felét, és annak városait odaadtam a Rúbenitáknak és Gáditáknak.
And we weldiden in that tyme the lond, fro Aroer, which is on the `brynke of the stronde of Arnon, `til to the myddil paart of the hil of Galaad; and Y yaf the citees `of hym to Ruben and Gad.
13 A Gileád többi részét pedig, és az egész Básánt, az Óg országát odaadtam a Manassé fél törzsének, Argóbnak egész vidékét. Ezt az egész Básánt óriások földének hívták.
Forsothe Y yaf the tother part of Galaad, and al Basan, of the rewme of Og, to the half lynage of Manasses, and al the cuntrei of Argob. Al Basan was clepid the lond of giauntis.
14 Jair, Manassénak fia, kapta Argóbnak egész vidékét, a Gessuriták és Maakátiták határáig; és azokat a Básánnal együtt az ő nevéről Jair faluinak hívják mind e mai napig.
Jair, `sone of Manasses, weldide al the cuntrey of Argob, `til to the lond of Gesuri and of Machati; and he clepide bi his name Basan Anothiair, that is, the townes of Jair, til in to present dai.
15 Mákirnak pedig adtam Gileádot.
Also Y yaf Galaad to Machir; and to the lynagis of Ruben and of Gad Y yaf the lond of Galaad, `til to the strond of Arnon, the myddil of the stronde,
16 A Rúbenitáknak és a Gáditáknak pedig adtam Gileádtól fogva Arnonnak patakáig (a határ pedig a patak közepe) és a Jabbók patakáig, a mely az Ammon fiainak határa;
and of the endis `til to the stronde of Jeboth, which is the terme of `the sones of Amon.
17 És a síkságot és határul a Jordánt, a Kinnerettől a Síkság tengeréig, a Sóstengerig, a mely a Piszga-hegy lába alatt van napkelet felől.
And Y yaf the pleyn of the wildernesse `til to Jordan, and the termes of Cenereth `til to the see of deseert, which see is moost salt, at the rotis of the hil of Phasga, ayens the eest.
18 És parancsolék abban az időben néktek, mondván: Az Úr, a ti Istenetek adta néktek ezt a földet, hogy bírjátok azt; felfegyverkezvén, menjetek át a ti atyátok fiai, Izráel fiai előtt mind, a kik hadakozásra valók vagytok.
And Y comaundide to you in that tyme, and seide, Youre Lord God yyueth to you this lond in to erytage;
19 Csak feleségeitek, kicsinyeitek és barmaitok (mert tudom, hogy sok barmotok van) maradjanak a ti városaitokban, a melyeket én adtam néktek.
alle ye stronge men, without wyues and litle children and beestis, be maad redi, and `go ye bifor youre brithren, the sones of Israel. For Y knowe that ye han many beestis, and tho schulen dwelle in citees whiche Y yaf to you,
20 Mindaddig, a míg nyugodalmat ád az Úr a ti atyátokfiainak, mint néktek, és azok is bírhatják a földet, a melyet az Úr, a ti Istenetek ád nékik a Jordánon túl. Azután térjetek vissza, kiki az ő örökségébe, a melyet adtam néktek.
til the Lord yyue reste to youre brithren, as he yaf to you, and til thei also welden the lond `which the Lord schal yyue to hem biyonde Jordan; thanne ech man schal turne ayen in to his possessioun which Y yaf to you.
21 Józsuénak is parancsolék abban az időben, mondván: Szemeiddel láttad mindazt, a mit cselekedett az Úr, a ti Istenetek ama két királylyal; így cselekszik az Úr minden országgal, a melyen átmégy.
Also Y comaundid to Josue in that tyme, and seide, Thin iyen sien what thingis youre Lord God dide to these twei kyngis; so he schal do to alle rewmes, to whiche thou schalt go; drede thou not hem.
22 Ne féljetek tőlök, mert az Úr, a ti Istenetek, maga hadakozik ti érettetek!
And Y preiede the Lord in that tyme,
23 Könyörgék is az Úrnak abban az időben, mondván:
and seide, Lord God, thou hast bigunne to schewe to thi seruaunt thi greetnesse, and strongeste hond,
24 Uram, Isten, te elkezdetted megmutatni a te szolgádnak a te nagyságodat és hatalmas kezedet! Mert kicsoda olyan Isten mennyben és földön, a ki cselekedhetnék a te cselekedeteid és hatalmad szerint?
for noon other God is ether in heuene, ether in erthe, that mai do thi werkis, and may be comparisound to thi strengthe.
25 Hadd menjek át kérlek, és hadd lássam meg azt a jó földet, a mely a Jordánon túl van, és azt a jó hegyet, és a Libanont!
Therfor Y schal passe, and schal se this beeste lond biyende Jordan, and this noble hil and Liban.
26 De megharaguvék az Úr én reám ti miattatok, és nem hallgatott meg engem; hanem ezt mondá az Úr nékem: Elég ez néked, ne szólj többet már nékem e dolog felől!
And the Lord was wrooth to me for you, nethir he herde me, but seide to me, It suffisith to thee; speke thou no more of this thing to me.
27 Menj fel a Piszga tetejére, és emeld fel a te szemeidet napnyugot felé és észak felé, dél felé és napkelet felé, és nézz szét a te szemeiddel, mert nem mégy át ezen a Jordánon.
`Stye thou in to the hiynesse of Phasga, and caste aboute thin iyen to the west, and north, and south, and eest, and biholde, for thou schalt not passe this Jordan.
28 Józsuénak pedig parancsolj, és bátorítsd őt, és erősítsd őt, mert ő megy át e nép előtt, és ő teszi őket örököseivé annak a földnek, a melyet meglátsz.
Comaunde thou to Josue, and strengthe thou and coumforte hym; for he schal go bifore this puple, and he schal departe to hem the lond, which thou schalt se.
29 És ott maradánk a völgyben, Beth-Peórral szemben.
And we dwelliden in the valey ayens the temple of Phegor.
