5 Mózes 18
1 A Lévita-papoknak, a Lévi egész nemzetségének ne legyen se része, se öröksége Izráellel, hanem éljenek az Úrnak tüzes áldozatjaiból és örökségéből.

2 Annakokáért ne legyen néki öröksége az ő atyjafiai között: Az Úr az ő öröksége, a mint megmondotta néki.
And an inheritance not it will belong to him in [the] midst countrymen his Yahweh he [is] inheritance his just as he spoke to him.
3 És ez legyen a papoknak törvényes része a néptől, azoktól, a kik áldoznak akár ökörrel, akár juhval, hogy a papnak adják a lapoczkát, a két állat és a gyomrot.
And this it will be [the] right of the priests from with the people from with [those who] sacrifice the sacrifice whether ox or sheep and he will give to the priest the arm and the two cheeks and the stomach.
4 A te gabonád, mustod és olajod zsengéjét, és a te juhaid gyapjának zsengéjét néki adjad;
[the] first of Grain your new wine your and fresh oil your and [the] first of [the] fleece of sheep your you will give to him.
5 Mert őt választotta ki az Úr, a te Istened minden te nemzetséged közül, hogy álljon szolgálatra az Úrnak nevében, ő és az ő fiai minden időben.

6 Mikor pedig eljön a Lévita valamelyikből a te egész Izráelben lévő kapuid közül, a hol ő lakik, és bemegy az ő lelkének teljes kívánsága szerint arra a helyre, a melyet kiválaszt az Úr:

7 Szolgáljon az Úrnak az ő Istenének nevében, mint az ő többi atyjafiai, a Léviták, a kik ott állanak az Úr előtt.

8 Az eledelekben egyenlőképen részesedjenek, kivéve azt, a mit eladott valaki az ő atyai örökségéből.
A portion like a portion they will eat besides sales his on the fathers.
9 Mikor te bemégy arra a földre, a melyet az Úr, a te Istened ád néked: ne tanulj cselekedni azoknak a népeknek útálatosságai szerint.
If you [have] gone into the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you not you will learn to do according to [the] abominations of the nations those.
10 Ne találtassék te közötted, a ki az ő fiát vagy leányát átvigye a tűzön, se jövendőmondó, se igéző, se jegymagyarázó, se varázsló;
Not he will be found among you [one who] makes pass son his and daughter his in the fire [one who] divines divinations a soothsayer and an augurer and a sorcerer.
11 Se bűbájos, se ördöngősöktől tudakozó, se titok-fejtő, se halottidéző;
And [one who] casts a spell and [one who] consults a necromancer and a familiar spirit and [one who] enquires to the dead.
12 Mert mind útálja az Úr, a ki ezeket míveli, és ez ilyen útálatosságokért űzi ki őket az Úr, a te Istened te előled.
That [is] [the] abomination of Yahweh every [one who] does these [things] and on account of the abominations these Yahweh God your [is] about to dispossess them from before you.
13 Tökéletes légy az Úrral, a te Isteneddel.
Blameless you will be with Yahweh God your.
14 Mert ezek a nemzetek, a kiket te elűzesz, igézőkre és jövendőmondókra hallgatnak; de tenéked nem engedett ilyet az Úr, a te Istened.
For - the nations these which you [are] about to dispossess them to soothsayers and to diviners they listen and you not thus he has permitted to you Yahweh God your.
15 Prófétát támaszt néked az Úr, a te Istened te közüled, a te atyádfiai közül, olyat mint én: azt hallgassátok!
A prophet from midst your one of countrymen your like me he will raise up for you Yahweh God your to him you will listen!
16 Mind a szerint, amint kérted az Úrtól, a te Istenedtől a Hóreben a gyülekezésnek napján mondván: Ne halljam többé az Úrnak, az én Istenemnek szavát, és ne lássam többé ezt a nagy tüzet, hogy meg ne haljak!
According to all that you asked from with Yahweh God your at Horeb on [the] day of the assembly saying not me repeat to hear [the] voice of Yahweh God my and the fire great this not let me see again and not I will die.
17 Az Úr pedig monda nékem: Jól mondták a mit mondtak.

18 Prófétát támasztok nékik az ő atyjokfiai közül, olyat mint te, és az én ígéimet adom annak szájába, és megmond nékik mindent, a mit parancsolok néki.
A prophet I will raise up for them from [the] midst of countrymen their like you and I will put words my in mouth his and he will speak to them all that I will command him.
19 És ha valaki nem hallgat az én ígéimre, a melyeket az én nevemben szól, én megkeresem azon!
And it will be the person who not he will listen to words my which he will speak in name my I I will require from with him.
20 De az a próféta, a ki olyat mer szólani az én nevemben, a mit én nem parancsoltam néki szólani, és a ki idegen istenek nevében szól: haljon meg az a próféta.
Nevertheless the prophet who he will act presumptuously by speaking a word in name my [that] which not I commanded him to speak and who he will speak in [the] name of gods other and he will die the prophet him.
21 Ha pedig azt mondod a te szívedben: miképen ismerhetjük meg az ígét, a melyet nem mondott az Úr?
And if you will say in heart your how? will we know the word which not he has spoken it Yahweh.
22 Ha a próféta az Úr nevében szól, és nem lesz meg, és nem teljesedik be a dolog: ez az a szó, a melyet nem az Úr szólott; elbizakodottságból mondotta azt a próféta; ne félj attól!
That he will speak the prophet in [the] name of Yahweh and not it will happen the thing and not it will come that [is] the word which not he has spoken it Yahweh with presumption he has spoken it the prophet not you will be afraid from him.
