2 Sámuel 9

1 Monda pedig Dávid: Maradt-é még valaki a Saul házanépe közül, hogy irgalmasságot cselekedjem ő vele Jonathánért?

And he said David ¿ for [is] there still [one] who he is left to [the] house of Saul so I may do with him covenant loyalty for sake of Jonathan.

2 Vala pedig Saul házából egy szolga, kinek neve vala Siba, kit Dávidhoz szólítának, és monda a király néki: Te vagy-é Siba? Felele: Én vagyok a te szolgád.

And [belonged] to [the] house of Saul a servant and name his [was] Ziba and people summoned him to David and he said the king to him ¿ [are] you Ziba and he said servant your.

3 Akkor monda a király: Maradt-é még valaki a Saul házanépe közül, hogy cselekedjem vele az Isten irgalmasságát? Felele Siba a királynak: Van még Jonathánnak egy fia, ki mind a két lábára sánta.

And he said the king ¿ [is] there not still anyone of [the] house of Saul so I may do with him [the] covenant loyalty of God and he said Ziba to the king still a son of Jonathan stricken of both feet.

4 Monda néki a király: Hol van? És monda Siba a királynak: Ímé az Ammiel fiának, Mákirnak házában van Ló-Debárban.

And he said to him the king where? [is] he and he said Ziba to the king here! he [is] [the] house of Makir [the] son of Ammiel in Lo Debar.

5 Akkor elkülde Dávid király, és elhozatá őt a Mákirnak, az Ammiel fiának házából Ló-Debárból.

And he sent the king David and he took him from [the] house of Makir [the] son of Ammiel from Lo Debar.

6 És mikor megérkezett Dávidhoz Méfibóset, Jonathánnak a Saul fiának fia, arczczal leborula, és tisztességet tőn néki; és monda Dávid: Méfibóset! ki felele: Ímhol a te szolgád.

And he came Mephibosheth [the] son of Jonathan [the] son of Saul to David and he fell on face his and he bowed down and he said David O Mephibosheth and he said here! [is] servant your.

7 Monda néki Dávid: Ne félj; mert kétség nélkül irgalmasságot cselekeszem veled Jonathánért, a te atyádért; és visszaadom néked Saulnak, a te nagyatyádnak minden majorságát, és néked mindenkor asztalomnál lesz ételed.

And he said to him David may not you be afraid for certainly I will do with you covenant loyalty for sake of Jonathan father your and I will restore to you all [the] land of Saul father your and you you will eat food on table my continually.

8 Akkor fejet hajta Méfibóset, és monda: Micsoda a te szolgád, hogy a holt ebre reá tekintettél, minemű én vagyok?

And he bowed down and he said what? [is] servant your that you have turned to the dog dead who [is] like me.

9 Szólítá azután a király Sibát, Saulnak szolgáját, és monda néki: Valamije volt Saulnak és egész háznépének, mindazokat a te urad fiának adtam.

And he summoned the king Ziba [the] servant of Saul and he said to him all that it belonged to Saul and to all household his I have given to [the] son of master your.

10 A majorságnak azért te viseljed gondját, és a te fiaid és szolgáid, és beszolgáltassad, hogy legyen a te urad fiának kenyere, melylyel éljen. Méfibóset pedig, a te uradnak fia, az én asztalomnál eszik mindenkor. Vala pedig Sibának tizenöt fia és húsz szolgája.

And you will work for him the land you and sons your and servants your and you will bring and it will be for [the] son of master your food and he will eat it and Mephibosheth [the] son of master your he will eat continually food on table my and [belonged] to Ziba fif-teen sons and twenty servants.

11 Felele Siba a királynak: Valamit az én uram, a király parancsol nékem, szolgájának, a képen cselekeszik a te szolgád. És Méfibóset az én asztalomnál eszik, mint a király fiainak egyike.

And he said Ziba to the king according to all that he will command lord my the king servant his so he will do servant your and Mephibosheth [was] eating on table my like one from [the] children of the king.

12 Vala pedig Méfibósetnek egy fiacskája, kinek neve Mika vala; a Siba házában lakozók pedig mindnyájan Méfibóset szolgái valának.

And [belonged] to Mephibosheth a son young and name his [was] Mica and every resident of [the] house of Ziba [were] servants of Mephibosheth.

13 Méfibóset tehát Jeruzsálemben lakozék, mert mindenkor a király asztalánál eszik vala; és ő mind a két lábára sánta vala.

And Mephibosheth [was] dwelling in Jerusalem for on [the] table of the king continually he [was] eating and he ([was] lame *LA(bh)*) [the] two feet his.
